8 Sweet Sweet Knowledge

"Coat me with sugar and call me a donut, goddamn!" Tristan exclaimed when he walked into the mansion. Everything in there just screamt of privileged rich kid due to how expensive they were. Sure, he had gotten inside mansions built by Middle Eastern princes, but Tony Stark is just next level rich. Even the doormat was worth almost ten times his previous life's twenty years worth of salary!

"Glad you're impressed," Jarvis said through the speakers, though Tristan couldn't gauge his emotions due to his kinda robotic voice.

"You must be dying to hear everything I know," Tristan said as he sat down on a couch, only to almost moan at how comfortable it was. "Damn, I almost felt my soul leave my body!" He quickly cleared his throat, trying to put that blunder behind him.

"So, here's my thought process, Tony Stark is just a guru at making weapons. His company just made a missile that would change modern warfare for the next couple of years, the Jericho missile. A missile which is just genius by the way. Carpet bombing an insurgent's camp using only one missile is going to be so monumental in killing off these groups.

"Any way, Tony Stark come to Afghanistan for a weapons demonstration and then his convoy gets ambushed! Now, here comes the thing that makes me believe he is most likely not dead. Do you understand human nature, Jarvis?"

"I don't think I do," Jarvis answered, always in his polite tone.

"Ha, you're gonna love this," Tristan chuckled. "First of all, how did this terrorist cell know how target Tony Stark's convoy? The route might be because they have the home ground but to actually time it just after his weapons demonstration, that's suspicious. Which brings me to human nature number one, greed!"

"You are saying someone leaked Tony's details to the terrorists for profit?" Jarvis asked.

"Ah uh, do not limit your thinking, just not for profit. It might be a lot of things. Profit, jealousy and the best of all, thirst for power," Tristan corrected the AI. "Now, if it was me and I just found out someone just hired me to kill a goose that laid golden eggs, what would I do?"

"You would stage a scene, make it seem like the goose is dead while you're actually keeping it for the golden eggs," Jarvis answered, for the first time Tristan could actually hear how his voice had pitched an octave.

"Exactly, ergo my theory Tony Stark is alive and is actually being coerced to make weapons for this terrorist cell," Tristan finished his pitch. Jarvis was silent for a little while, which Tristan knew he was running diagnosis on everything he just said using his much greater power of deduction.

"I just cross referenced across everyone close to Tony Stark and Obadiah Stane has the largest to profit from this. He is the biggest suspect in all of this," Jarvis told him. Tristan was surprised by how fast he worked, slightly terrified even! "What should I do with this information?"

"I'ld say we wait and show it to Tony Stark himself. I am just an outsider to him and you are an artificial intelligence, he will want to proof everything himself due to his ego. So, our only concern is how we are going to rescue him," Tristan advised the AI.

"Hmm, that is a sound idea. So, what are you thinking? I can hack across the world, find anything that might resemble information partaining Tony Stark and cross reference it to you," Jarvis told him.

"You do that. In the meantime, we get to do what brought me here in the first place, knowledge. I am sure Tony Stark must have a gigantic amount of that stored up somewhere. I want knowledge in everything from high school courses to nuclear science," Tristan said, rubbing his palms in anticipation.

This was actually the main reason he came to Jarvis. He had the wisdom of Solomon but unlike any of his predecessors, he did not inherit the overwhelming knowledge that the man had. He got the ability to learn knowledge so fast he might as well be cheating. So, instead of going to libraries after libraries trying to search for books that they might not even have, why not incite an artificial intelligence to feed you that knowledge and therefore save yourself so much time.

"I do have catalogs full of these, but I am not sure you will be able to digest them all in a short time," Jarvis tried to reason with him.

"You don't have to worry about that, Jarvis. I am confident in a week's time, I will competent enough in various fields. All you have to worry about is if you have enough knowledge to impart to me."

......

And so, his learning frenzy started. Beginning with high school level courses, he devoured them so fast Jarvis was left in awe. But that was just the start. Elementary, junior and high school were just the building blocks to higher learning and Tristan had discovered that after spending half a day going through it all and passing every test Jarvis had given him.

Armed with Atlas stamina that made him an untiring machine both physically and mentally, speed of Mercury that made him speed run everything and the most powerful gift of them all, wisdom of Solomon that just made him devour the knowledge presented to him faster and faster the more knowledge he had. So, he started to learn undergraduate level courses

A whole day and night went by when he was finally done. Jarvis was by then diverting ninety percent of his attention to him due to his speed, leaving him completely stunned by everything. Tristan then tackled post graduate level before going to masters then PhDs. From molecular science, anatomy, theoritcal science, micro biology and other big wig names. Six days had passed since he started and Jarvis was on the verge of overheating. He thanked his Almighty Tony Stark when Tristan finally declared he was done! Jarvis believed him, partly because he did not want to go down in history as the AI that could not keep up with a human and overheated.

"Alright, buddy, I think it's time we finally bring our beloved playboy back to the country," Tristan said as he was doing some warm up exercises.
