34 The new beginning

"Soap, grenade!" Price shouted.

Soap took out a grenade and pulled out the pin.

"Fire in the hole!" Soap shouted and threw the grenade.

*KABOOM!*

*AGH!!!*

"Yuri!" Yuri looked to Price.

"You and Ghost go to that cover over there and try to push out the Maggia's circling us! " Price pointed to the cover and ordered them.

" On it! " Yuri and Ghost said and went to the cover. Meanwhile Spiderman was having the time of his life.

up from his cover and shot bullets put of his gauntlet.

*Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!*

Spiderman landed on the ground with 5 bodies laying near him.

"That was cool." Spiderman said.

"Definitely doing that again." Spiderman said and jumped off to do that again.

(Meanwhile outside)

"Hi I am Rachel from the Daily Bugle. I am here in the battlefield between the police and the Maggia Family. I see a police officer guarding the place. Let's ask him." Rachel introduced herself and ran towards the stoic police officer who is holding a assault rifle and has heavy armor.

(If you think this is illogical. Reporters know no boundaries. I'm just going to clarify. Technically they do but it's a long way before they actually know their place.)

"Excuse me sir!" Rachel called out to the guard.

"Miss you have to get out of here you cannot be here!" The guard yelled."

"I am from the Daily Bugle sir. I want to ask you some questions. " Rachel said back.

" Ma'am you do realize that this place is a warzone! Get out of here before I make you get out of here! " The guard said slowly.

" We'll just ask some quick questions and we'll just bail out of here. " Rachel said hurriedly.

Now the cop is facing a situation. Answer her questions or deny. If he denys then she'll never leave and he'll have to use force which he rather not use. So he chose the first option.

" Fine! Ask quickly! Then you will get out of her!" The guard reluctantly agreed.

" Reports say that Spiderman is in the battle and he is killing people! Is that true?! " Rachel asked.

" Yes it's true! Spiderman's in the battle! Wait how did you find out?! We locked this place as secure as possible! " The guard asked confused.

" Oh we had a helicopter fly over the vicinity and we saw Spiderman in the battle. " Rachel said casually never realizing the danger. The guard surely did. He looked up to the sky immediately.

"Ah shit." He said lowly. He then took out his walkie talkie out.

"Everybody look at the sky. You'll see a helicopter flying over the vicinity. Please don't shoot it. Just watch it carefully and notify me if anything changes." The guard said through the walkie talkie.

"Roger that"

"Roger"

"Roger. Over and out."

The guard then looked at Rachel.

"Ma'am. Please tell the helicopter to fly away from here. It could get shot down." Thankfully Rachel did listen to the guard's warning as she told the camera guy who called the pilot. The helicopter then flew away. But not before something flew to it.

*Psheewwwww Booooommmmmmmm!!!*

(Battlefield 2077)

Soap couldn't stop a Maggia member from firing the rocket to the helicopter on time so that happened. He shot the guy two times in the head to show how mad he was.

"Shit!" He shouted as the rocket got closer and closer. And it exploded on impact.

The helicopter spun around and around. It was about to hit the ground until Spiderman shot out his webs to the helicopter and slingshotted to it. He ripped open the door and saw the pilot and the cameraman inside it.

"Don't worry guys I got you. " Spiderman said. Spiderman grabbed both of them jumped out quickly and put them down. He then shot webs at the helicopter again. He pulled hard and the helicopter flew down fast and landed in the middle of a lot of gas tanks and cars. You know how that goes.

*Booooooooooooooooooommmmmmmm!!!*

A lot of cars exploded. A lot debris flew around. A lot of fire. A lot of carnage. Death flew in the air collecting soul after soul. Weighing them on the scale. The mafia suffered a lot of casualties in that one explosion. The surviving members were either traumatized by the explosion or didn't want to end up dead. So they surrendered. Of course, there were still a lot of diehard members that didn't give a shit about the explosion or whether they would end up like that. So they kept fighting.

Spiderman looked at Soap and he looked at him. They both nodded to each other. It seems they have a new respect to each other.

"Alright keep the chummy chummy business out of the battlefield. " Fem Yuri said.

" Yeah yeah whatever. At least some of the guys have up. We still have to clear out everything. Tell the guards to come in and arrest these people. If they even try to do something. Show no mercy. " Soap said.

" Bravo 6 to Guard 1. We want you to come in and arrest these fools. Show no mercy if they try to do something. " Price said.

" Roger that Bravo. Over and out. " Guard said back.

So they cleared out the rest of the Maggia. After that, the Maggia are really no more and it will impact lives a lot. Both good and bad. Good because people don't need to look over their shoulders every two seconds and won't have their money be gone every day. Bad because of the destruction gang wars will bring because of the destruction of the Maggia. I mean, when you're the number 3rd gang in New York you have a lot of territory.

Bravo 6, Guard and Spiderman will have to work double time to keep the destruction to a minimum. Bravo 6 didn't go vacation mode yet. They chose to fight more until the streets are safe so the streets can be safe again.

(The next day)

"You're watching the Daily Bugle." Miya and the crew were watching the news at lunch. Peter didn't come to work today. He said he was sick but the crew knew it was a lie. They have heard a lot of explosions last night and they knew he got involved somehow.

"Hi this is J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle. The number one News Station in all of New York. Last night, at midnight. A big battle broke out in New Brighton. It was located at the now abandoned warehouse of Storage Post Self Storage. Reports from the our reporter Rachel said that ummmm... Spiderman the menace was there as well!

That damn menace! How dare he show his menacing figure at the battle! He just wants the glory! "

They watched and were confused. " Dude he just saved thousands of lives and you do this to him. What kind of arrogant asshole are you? " Wes said to the TV.

" Don't care what he says Wes. The people know what he is truly like. " Rook said.

" Mm. " Wes said and continued watching.
