"Huh? Wha— what do you mean? I— I don't have a fake background?" Shuri stuttered.

" Yeah....no. Why would Peter ask that question then if you don't have a fake background then? " Wes asked. He was mad that this woman lied to him and everyone else. He should've been more cautious.

"U—uh because I don't...????" Shuri tried to escape the conversation.

"Shuri.... remove the fake background. Now." Peter commanded.

"O—okay." Shuri removed the background. The fake background looked like she was in a normal living room that looks like ones in the apartments of New York. But now it's removed, the actual background is a bedroom. It looks like she's living in a seven star hotel. Everything looks futuristic even the pillows look so futuristic.

"Damn Shuri where do you live in! Another planet? " Wes asked shocked. He never saw a bedroom looking like this. This is a thousand times better than the hotels he and Charlotte been to. Now he wondered what the whole house looks like.

"I live in a Kingdom called Wakanda. You won't find it anywhere on the map or GPS." Shuri said telling the truth. She thought that they didn't notice and she wouldn't have to tell the truth. She still would've anyway as Peter would still call her out.

"That's true. There's no Wakanda anywhere on the map. Which continent is Wakanda located? " Peter asked.

" Africa." Shuri reluctantly said. She didn't know if she should say anymore but if she didn't they would force the location out of her.

"It's probably hidden in some cloaking technology that is very advanced. Which is impossible to achieve without a giant power source... " Peter said stopping.

" Do you guys have some sort of alien rock that can power this cloaking technology? " Wes joked.

".... Yes.... we do..... It's called Vibranium. It comes from space. " Shuri explained.

" Gurl you giving out secrets now? How desperate are you to get this job? You have a family there for fuck sake! At least lie a little bit! I wouldn't care! " Peter shouted inside his head.

" Bro I was just joking! Not way. A hidden civilization. How can we not at least find traces of it? " Wes asked shocked.

" You just can't. We hid ourselves since the cloaking technology was invented. We never interfered with anything that is happening in the outside world. " Shuri said. On the inside she hoped that the team won't get greedy and find the location. Or else the image of Arasaka that is painted inside her head is shattered and all hope of potentially leaving the lab will be lost forever.

"You have all the technology you can and need. Why can't you share it to the world or at least share bits and pieces of it? " Wes asked doing a stupid there.

" Wes. Wes look at me for a moment. " Peter called out to him. Wes turned and looked at Peter.

" Human Greed. " Was all the Peter said to make Wes understand. Wes turned away.

" Ahhh.... that's why.... Man I'm stupid these days. Must be the interviews. " Wes says to himself.

" The King and the Advisors fear that greed will takeover their minds and they will try to invade Wakanda. Not that they will succeed anyways." Shuri said.

" Dude did she just shit on the military?" Wes asked.

"If that's what you calll your military then yes. I did. And I will do it again if you would like me to." Shuri said smiling.

"Pls continue. Why did you lie to us Shuri. We would've accepted you anyways." Peter asked smiling.

"Because.... I thought you guys wouldn't believe me and tell me to go away." Shuri said with sadness in her voice.

"Well you got a point there but we would've accepted you. There's a lot of weird shit in this world. This is the norm for us." Wes said.

" Oh..... so you'll still let me work here? " Shuri asked with hope.

" Yes. You're the head researcher of a super advanced lab how could we not hire you. We will be stupid not to." Peter said.

" Thank you. " Shrui said gratefully.

" Provided that you don't backstab us. Or we'll really search for Wakanda. " Peter said.

" Oh no I'm not going to do that. I'm not that kind of person. " Shuri raised her hands up.

" Relax we're just warning you. " Peter said.

" By the way does your family know about this? " Miya asked.

" They do not. They don't even know what I'm doing in my room." Shuri said.

" You can't escape from Wakanda right? Is it illegal? " Charlotte asked.

" It isn't when you're royalty. " Shuri said.

"Are you royalty? " Wes asked.

" Yes. I am the princess of Wakanda. " Shuri said with a straight face.

" She's.... She's not lying. No one could say that with a straight face." Rook said after reading her face expressions and everything.

" So we're interviewing a princess right now." Wes said.

" Yes. And I would like you to treat me as I'm a normal person please. Right now I'm a employee of Arasaka so please treat me like I'm one of you." Shuri said looking at Wes especially.

" Okay Shuri. " Peter said.

" Can you tell us why you're parents are not in on this? " Rook asked. Wes looked at them flabbergasted. They're talking normally to a princess. Are they not afraid of death?

"Well they forbid me to do literally do anything. Eat my own food? No. Go out to the streets shopping? No. Do my own thing? No. I mean I get it they want me to be safe at all times but damn that's excessive. It's not like someone will poison me. The sensors can detect it. " Shuri ranted.

" So they're strict. And you don't like it. You want to go your own way. Is that it?" Miya simplified it.

" Essentially, yes that's it. " Shuri sighed.

" They love you Shuri. They really do. They're just not showing it as much. " Charlotte said.

" Yes I know and I love them too but I just —i just want to forge my own path. Be my own person. " Shuri said looking down.

" Ah.... so you have a case of Teenager Syndrome. " Wes joked. He seemed to never run out of jokes. And it helps.

" A what Syndrome? " Shuri asked confused on this new Syndrome that Wes created.

"Teenager Syndrome. Peter has it. You have it as well. It's a syndrome where teenagers like you and Peter want to prove yourselves to the world and you'll do anything to succeed. " Wes made up.

" Hey. Look at where I am now. Look at where we are now? From inventing revolutionary products to interviewing princesses. We at Arasaka have leveled up. " Peter said.

" But back to the point. Wes is right. You want to prove yourself. Here in Arasaka is the perfect place to do that. " Peter said.

" Hey. It's usually Peter who says it but I'm stealing his line for now. Welcome to Arasaka Shuri. We hope you have a wonderful time working and inventing with us. " Wes said smiling.

" Thank you I am truly grateful. " Shuri said smiling. She thinks she's going to have her time of her life working with them.
