Ch.62: Preparations of Green, White, and Blue revolution

As Athena flickered away, Aryan relaxed back in his chair, his mind swirling with thoughts of aether. These mysterious energy particles, he believed, constituted dark matter and were responsible for magic and spells. The concept of aether had always fascinated him, and now, with the reactor project nearing completion, he was closer than ever to harnessing its potential.

He pondered the nature of aether, these elusive particles that seemed to bridge the gap between the known and the unknown. Aryan was convinced that aether was not only the source of magical phenomena but also intertwined with the power cosmic and believed to be the enigmatic dark energy of the universe. If he could find the right element to stabilize and control aether energy particles from subatomic spaces, the possibilities would be limitless.

The reactor, designed to harvest aether energy particles, was already a marvel of engineering and alchemical science. However, Aryan knew that enhancing it with the new element and suitable runes could amplify the reactor's efficiency, making it a beacon of endless energy.

Discarding his thoughts on aether, Aryan again turned his attention to the documents before him, which was diverted by the arrival of Dr. Bhabha. The increased yield from the agricultural sector had not only stabilized the food situation but also provided a surplus, paving the way for the first Green Revolution of Bharat. As he reviewed the reports, Aryan became convinced that it was time to initiate the White and Blue Revolutions in Bharat.

The White Revolution, focusing on dairy production, and the Blue Revolution, aimed at enhancing fishery output, would further bolster the nation's food security. Aryan envisioned expanding these advancements in agriculture as well as the other two sectors to all newly merged territories of Bharat. This expansion would not only support their war effort by ensuring a steady food supply but also create opportunities to export surplus produce to Allied countries, which were facing food shortages due to the war.

The profits from these exports could be reinvested into Bharat's infrastructure development, including the newly merged territories. Aryan saw this as a strategic move to strengthen the nation's economy and ensure long-term prosperity. With a determined look, he began drafting plans to implement these revolutionary changes, confident that they would lead Bharat to a brighter future.

As Aryan finished outlining the documents, he pressed the intercom button on his desk.

"Please call the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Affairs for an urgent meeting," Aryan instructed his secretary. He could hear the faint rustle of papers as she noted down his request.

Moments later, Aryan stood by the window, gazing at the sprawling gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over the landscape. He thought about the farmers and fishermen whose lives would be transformed by these initiatives. The White and Blue Revolutions were not just about increasing production; they were about empowering the people, ensuring that every citizen of Bharat had access to nutritious food and a stable livelihood.

The door opened, and Siddhartha Gupta, the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Affairs, entered, his face reflecting a mix of curiosity and concern. Aryan turned to greet him, his expression resolute.

"Siddhartha, thank you for coming on such short notice," Aryan began.

Siddhartha quickly responded, "Mr. President, you don't need to thank me. It's my duty to be available for your summons at the earliest time possible for the benefit of the people."

Siddhartha Gupta was a serious, honest, and hardworking man in his 30s from Bihar. His family had been farmers for generations under the exploitative hiring of zamindars who enjoyed connections with the British, unleashing unimaginable suffering upon his family. When he was 15 years old and had recently started working with his family under the zamindar, his older sister was brutally raped and murdered by the zamindar. Later, his family was also killed by the same zamindar, and only he survived, although gravely injured. He then vowed to take revenge and joined the resistance fighters under the leadership of Jaiprakash Narayan. Later, he came in contact with Aryan, who promised him his revenge. Although he was successful in taking revenge, he found himself at a loss, unsure about his future. However, under the guidance of Aryan and other senior BSS members, he dedicated himself to Aryan's cause, working for the upliftment of samll farmers and gaining influence for his work across the country. Since he was very capable in matters relating to agriculture, he was selected for the position of Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Affairs.

Aryan nodded and explained the reason for his urgent summons, "Actually, I have called you to discuss the unique opportunity we have to revolutionize our agricultural and fishery sectors. The recent success of the agricultural sector has shown us what is possible. Now, it's time for us to take the next steps. I want to expand the agricultural improvements throughout the newly merged territories of Bharat to make way for the first Green Revolution of Bharat."

"Also," saying this he handed Siddhartha the documents, detailing the plans for the White and Blue Revolutions. Siddhartha skimmed through the pages, his eyes widening as he absorbed the comprehensive strategies.

"These documents outline the measures we need to take," Aryan explained. "For the White Revolution, we must establish cooperative models, develop infrastructure, and enhance dairy breeding programs. We also need to expand veterinary healthcare, subsidize feed and fodder, and set up dairy training institutes. Government-backed marketing boards and financial incentives will support these efforts."

Siddhartha nodded, impressed by the thoroughness of the plan. "And for the Blue Revolution?" he asked.

"We need to expand inland and coastal fisheries, invest in research and development, and build necessary infrastructure," Aryan continued. "Policy and legislation will ensure sustainable practices, while fisherfolk welfare programs will support the communities involved. Promoting aquaculture and focusing on exports will position Bharat as a leader in seafood production."

Siddhartha looked up, his expression determined. "This is ambitious, but I believe it's achievable. We must act swiftly to implement these changes."

Aryan smiled satisfactorily at his eagerness. "Yes, our nation's economic future depends on it," he said. "We must make this vision a reality."

As Siddhartha made his exit for the earliest implementation of these recommendations, Aryan also thought about the improvements he could make by combining alchemical and magi-tech research in these sectors and drastically improving the quality and quantity of the produce.
