" Ten-hut "

a loud and majestic roar was heard reverberating through out the hall asking every soldier present to be in attention as chief Brent entered the training hall surrounded by few of his on duty guard soldiers.

chief Brent did not seem to be surprised by the crowd in the training hall he casually gazed across the hall which was now silent like a graveyard as every soldier stood in attention without making a beep showing the highly praised military hierarchy and discipline system , being satisfied by the discipline his men showed chief Brent nodded in satisfaction and said

" stand at ease men "

with chiefs word the hall reverted back to its original hubbub but the previous loud voices were whispers now. chief made his way towards Detective Carter noticing Daniel next to her he said

" I see you are prepared soldier "

" sir yes sir , I did not except to get this much publicity , a soldier against entire battalion makes me feel like a hero . " said Daniel provoking the chief , since I am already the villain why not kick it up a notch.

" haha son let me give you a advice with in the military it isn't simple as hero or villain , the military only has patriot or traitor within it . so son which one do you feel now " asked Chief Brent with a cold tone.

" whatever old man once this is over only the winner will be able to label it as he wants it to. it's too soon to come to the conclusion this early don't you think " said Daniel , since you are belittling me by calling me son I will call you old man how do feel old geezer.

" Ha Ha Ha words of the wise , I couldn't have said it better. " said chief Brent , even though his lips were carved as if he was smiling his eyes told a totally different story.

" so, you remember our wager right , I thought you were going to take it easy on me " said Daniel eyeing the crowd.

" I did say that but I am not responsible for your enemy followings " said chief Brent eyeing Ronnie James on the other side of the Boxing ring.

" really now , I thought within military we only had brothers who would watch our back but to have enemy followings this is new " mocked Daniel.

" Ha Ha you were not a part of the military once you resisted and challenged your superiors orders , you are lucky I did not lock you up for treason. " said chief with a cold tone

" ... . "

" tell you what , if you win I will check into one pouring oil into the fire but till than you are on your own " said the chief

' self righteous old geezer , man this military discipline , hierarchy is really not my style ' thought Daniel .considering he was the 21st century high schooler who never had a good relationship with the system or a authority figure Daniel was doing pretty good .

seeing Daniel's frown Steve pulled Daniel over trying to stop Daniel from getting in to more trouble because of his impulsive behavior.

everybody who watched this thought Daniel did not know his place even Detective Carter thought the same as Daniel's chat with chief did not fit well in military hierarchy but what they did not know was to Daniel it was all normal as he was from the time where every one was considered as equal.

seeing Steve pull him aside Daniel asked him in annoyance " what is it ?"

" well .. . it's almost 1700 you should get changed " reasoned Steve.

" ok , .. Steve buddy thanks " said Daniel , the thanks was totally from the bottom of Daniel's heart. every single person present here thought Daniel as public enemy and his little chat with chief Brent only add to their opinion nobody in sane mind would want to associate with Daniel publicly now of all the time , even Daniel would do the same if someone else was in his place because if you want to fit In peacefully in the military base you can't be known as the friend of the public enemy but not Steve , he still did not leave Daniel's side he just stuck with him since the beginning. even though Steve looked cowardly because of his thin malnourished body but he had the bravest and loyal heart of all preset here. Daniel was really touched by his friend ship.

" ah! it was nothing , go and get changed quickly don't give them anymore reasons to bash on you" said Steve scratching the back of his head

Daniel stripped his uniform right then and there , it's a military base not some mall to have changing room. Daniel stood in his white t-shirt and a white shots showing of his new slim and well toned body courtesy of his card [ physical fitness : Elite ] , then he got in to the Boxing ring.

standing on the stage Daniel looked around the hall and men booing him , this did not effect Daniel because of the confidence and arrogance given to him by a over powered cheat ability. Daniel stood In the middle of the ring ignoring his surroundings waiting for his opponent.

Daniel did not have to wait long as a blonde white male with a muscular built similar to that of Mike Tyson entered the ring , seeing Ronnie James in person Daniel thought of a character from Spiderman , Flash Thompson but this one was lot more muscular than him. guess marvel has a code for all the bullies.

3 .. 2 .. 1 . ding!..ding! fight!

after hearing the bell ring , Ronnie 6.3ft gazed down on Daniel 5.9ft and said

" this is going to be just like High school Daniel "

Daniel ignored Ronnie and looked down towards chief Brent , detective Carter , Steve who apparently we're all seated together near by the ring and asked

" shouldn't we be using boxing gloves "

" Ha! Ha!! Ha!!! ... .. "

hearing Daniel whole crowd burst into laughter except Steve and Daniel himself , even Detective Carter was giggling.

" get out of ring kid , this is close combat here gentleman do not use gloves but knifes ... HA HA .. "

" this kid is really funny .. . I should have bet for under 30sec. "

the soldier had already held a secret pool on the match using their whisky and rum as wager. most people had bet that Daniel would not last more than a minute in the ring against Ronnie but after hearing Daniel they thought he would not even last thirty seconds.

after having a good laugh Ronnie got hold of himself and said

" Don't worry Daniel I did not bring a knife with me , they are just messing with you . do you still remember the game we used to play in the school together what was it again ' why are you slapping your self ' it was a fun game hahaha"

' why are you slapping yourself ' a game where the bully uses victims hand to slap the victim himself and have a laugh about it.

Ronnie lived up to his name as a professional boxer as he tried to aggravate Daniel's anger towards himself as soon as he entered the ring so that Daniel's sense of judgement is clouded by his anger for his childhood bully and fall into Ronnie's trap.

it would have worked but the present Daniel wasn't the one who got bullied but the one had over powered cheat ability.

seeing that Daniel did not fall for his trap Ronnie thought that Daniel was too scared to fight back and decided to go full-on offense and take down Daniel with in thirty seconds.

Ronnie took the boxing stance and stepped closer to Daniel to land a clean hit on defenseless Daniel's face and threw a right hook aiming at it.

" too slow "

said Daniel , as he could see through Ronnie's punch , just as the fist was about to slam into his face Daniel moved sideways to the left missing the punch by an inch and threw a counter to Ronnie's face with full throttle as a revenge for original Daniel.

Daniel's fist landed in dead center of Ronnie's face deforming Ronnie's face and breaking his nose causing it to leak blood like a leaking water tap. Ronnie flew backwards stumbled down on his back losing conscious.

the whole crowd went absolute silence , what they just saw was just too miraculous and perfect . the perfect side step and the perfect counter to Ronnie's face everything was just awesome leading to a one hit k.o. they all knew this happened because of Ronnie underestimating his opponent other wise a professional boxer would not fall for such a counter.

to Daniel it obvious that he would win as had two dark green card on close combat and boxing but Ronnie only had one green card in boxing.

out of every people present the most dumbfounded was Steve as never in his dreams would he have dreamt that Daniel would k.o Ronnie in a boxing match.

Daniel looked towards dumbfounded Steve and winked with a smile , signaling that everything was under control.

in front of Steve sat detective Carter who misunderstood the situation of a friendly signal as Daniel making a move on her. 'this new cadet really had notch to seek trouble' she thought . it wasn't her even other officers seated besides her thought that he was flirting with detective Carter and started to crack their knuckles.
