7 CHAPTER 6: FINALLY SOME ACTION(1)

Daniel POV

You know, due to me integrating with Damian Wayne soul card, I get the ability to judge whether the people that I encountered for the first time are good or bad.

It is just him being paranoid like his father, the Batman or Bruce Wayne does. Everyone knew that Batman did not trust someone easily much less an alien or any person he met for the first time.

From the outside, they may look like a nice person but deep inside, he is the evilest person you ever encountered.

This principle led Batman to be called paranoid by many of his friends but due to this principle, Batman knew which people he can trust or not.

By looking at the current Victor Doom, I can feel his bad intent and greed toward Susan.

"This guy really gives a bad vibe." Thought me as I just drink my chocolate milkshake.

"This feels like I am a third wheel." Remembering the last life where I accompanied my friend by becoming his driver to drive around the town bringing him with his lover.

And they did not pay for my help as they keep flirting at the backseat. Heck they did not give a cent to refill my car gas.Shaking my head to remember one of the annoying memories from my past life I continue to sip down my drink while glancing at the future Doctor Doom.

Dude. I literally can see his not so pure intention toward Susan here.

"Susan, are you by any chance alright?" Victor asked Susan.

"I am alright Victor though my purse almost got snatch by 2 guys," Susan told him while looking at me.

That is a good lie since saying mutants assaulted her will make people feared mutants more.

"Then what happens toward you? Do you by any chance ran from them?" Victor asked Susan making me narrowed his eyes.

"This guy. Why did I get the feeling he got a hand in this incident?"

"Luckily Daniel here managed to rescue me," Susan said to Victor who looked at me.

I managed to catch a glimpse of him giving a nasty glare towards me until he smiled towards me.

"A fake smile. What a good actor he is." Wondered me in my head.

"Thank you for rescuing my friend here from being robbed." Victor thanks me.

"Haha. No problem." I replied as I did not laugh there. Just do fake laugh to make him think I believes he really thank me there.

"My apologies for not introducing myself. My name is Victor Von Doom." He introduces himself while holding out his hand toward me.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Daniel Ryden but you can call me Daniel." I said to him and shake his hand.

Releasing both our hand, he takes a seat beside Susan which make Susan move a little far from him.

"So Daniel, how exactly did you defeated those 2 robbers?" He asked me making me smile hearing it.

"I am a karate practitioner, a black belt, so handling those guys are easy for me." I lied to him making him nodded his head.

"Karate practitioner huh? And a black belt one too. You must be pretty strong." Victor praised me making me laugh.

"You flatter me," I said to him. Yeah,believe that lie you two face bastard.

"This guy is definitely suspicious of me. If he is the one who hired both mutants, there is a chance of him suspecting me is a mutant." I mused in my head.

"Thought I am pretty lucky you know since League came in time to help me to defeat those guys," I added making him raise his eyebrows.

"League?" He said in a confused tone.

"Do not tell me you did not know who League is? The local hero of Bayville town. He is the one who always knocked out burglars and rapists in this city." I said to him.

"First time I hear that name." He said to me.

"Obviously since you are so obsessed with your research like Reed does." Susan interupted making me chuckle.

"Do not compare me to that geek," Victor said to Susan who is giggling hearing this.

"So Susan, how about tonight you and I go to this French restaurant that just opens in this city?" Victor asked Susan who I can see is uncomfortable hearing his invitation.

Susan is about to reject until her eyes landed on me.

"I am sorry Victor but I had to promise Daniel here to take him for a walk in the town this night." Said Susan.

"I-I see," Victor said as I can see he is trying hard to not glare at me but with his body language, I can see he is very angry towards me.

"Oh my, look at the time, Johnny must be waiting for me at the university, see you later Victor," Susan said while my arm got pulled by her.

My chocolate milkshake drink. I did not manage to finish drinking it.

What a waste.

Walking with Susan Storm is very awkward as it is hard for me to maintain my composure as I will keep glancing at her.

What? She is very pretty you know and is still not married.

"I am sorry about my action back there." Susan suddenly said to me.

"It's fine," I replied.

"So is he your boyfriend?" I asked him.

"What? No. We are just friends." Susan replied.

"Oh. " I replied.

My nose then smells something that I am very familiar with.

"Blood. This smell. It was near." Looking at every place, I then noticed a hooded man who just walked out from a bakery.

The smell of blood coming from him.

Then, someone, a young woman ran out of the bakery with blood on his body

"Stop him. He just stabs this owner of the bakery!"That girl shouted making everyone near the man to run in fear but the man just walks casually.

" Tsk. A witness." I heard him mutter as I see his right hand started to move.

"Crap." Running across the road ignoring the honking sound from the vehicles, I push away that girl from being stabbed by the flying knife.

"Call the police!" I shouted the girl as I catch a knife headed to my heart.

As the man is stunned seeing I catch his knife, he started to run as I chase after him.

"Wait!" That girl shouted but I ignored her call as I chase that man.

Pushing many people to fell to the ground to make me unable to chase him, I skillfully dodged the people until he goes to the road and approached a biker.

He casually slit that man throat in public killing that innocent biker as his body fell to the road.

This action made the citizens near him to scream as he kick away that corpse and moves away from that place with the stolen motorcycle.

Approaching the man, I see he is close to did judging by his breathing and the amount of blood that is peaking out from his body. This making me angry seeing this. Just because you wanted to get away from being arrest by the police, you killed an innocent man. Unforgivable.

My eyes turned cold as I dash into an alley as I am ready to do some action.

"Oracle. Equip Robin suit right now." I said to my system as my attire got replaced with Damian Wayne's hero attire.

Now, I am ready to deliver my VENGEANCE.

CENA POV

Escaping away with this motorcycle that I just sole from the dead man.

I have been robbing many places by threatening them with my knives which is so special as I have the ability to extend any object that I hold in both of my hand.

Of course, my chosen weapons are knives as they are easily purchased.

But today, the owner of the bakery rebelled when I threatened him to kill him which made me use my ability to extend my knife to stab his shoulder and demand him to give me money from the cashier counter.

The owner gives me the money as I count the amount of money until someone hit my head from behind making me turn my body quickly.

But that proved a mistake as the extended knife slit the bakery's owner chest making blood-splattered through the floor and on my arms.

Clicking my tongue seeing this as this is not the first time I accidentally killed people rather I killed some people to shut their mouth off about my crimes.

Walking out quickly from the bakery, I walked casually through the road while carrying a bag full of the stolen money until a young woman shouted for someone to stop me making me realised that I have another witness.

The people around me start to run in fear as I see if I use my extended power, I will kill many people which will make me get hint by police.

So I decided to throw out my knife towards that girl until another teen pushes her to the ground making my knife hit the trash bin.

Then that teen asked that young woman to call police making me scared and ran.

I notice that teen chased after me so I decided to rib someone motorcycle

Killing that man by slitting this throat, I take his motorcycle and move way from there.

Riding this motorcycle with me moving very fast through the road as I did not want police to arrest me, I now notice I am almost out of this city until something hit my tyre which made the motorcycle to lose it's a balance as I fell to the ground with the motorcycle hit a tree.

I stand up only to kick on my forehead with the kick that is so powerful that I felt my skull has cracked as my body hit the traffic pole which bent a bit as I cough out blood.

"Aarghhh!"Groaning in pain, I can feel my head is now dizzy with feeling hurt as I can feel my blood on my own mouth.

Wiping away the blood, I finally see the figure who now is in front of me as he grabbed my head and knee my face hitting my shoulder which then broke making me yell in pain.

He freed my hair until he backhands me sending me to the middle of the road as my nose has blood that drilled down to the ground as I grit my teeth to endure this pain.

Grabbing hold of my knife, I made my knife extend to stab my assailant but then the extended knife stopped when it stabbed his chest.

I kept trying to extend the knife but it did not move. It felt like my knife hit an unbreakable wall.

Looking closer at my assailant, I see he is wearing red attire with a green gauntlet that has blades on both gauntlets with him wearing eye masks and a black cape.

" W-who the fuck are you?!" I ask him as I secretly grab my second knife

"I am Vengeance." He said as I quickly extend my second knife to his forehead.

Expecting him to be pierced through my knife in his forehead, I can breathe in relief but never I think he grabbed the extending blade and crush it easily.

Seeing all my seal on got destroyed, I decide ti run away until an explosion hit my chest making me fell to the ground as my body now cannot move as my front body felt very hurt.

"This is what you deserve after killing all those innocent men." This "Vengeance" guy told me as I bit my tongue to keep my conscious awake.

"I-I needed t-the m-money to pay off my daughter hospital bills," I told him.

Of course, that was a lie since I am just a single man who discovered he has powered recently and uses the power that I gained to gain more money by robbing people.

A hand grabbed my hand as I felt my face got hot.

Rather, it felt like something is about to explode.

"W-wait! P-please s-spare me! I got a daughter to take care of." I pleaded to him until the hot sensation started to increase .

"Do not lie to me." He said to me.

"I-i did not l-mmpp!!!" Now his hand now is gripping my mouth as his other hand how has sparked in it as he released an explosion that destroyed the bag which contained the money.

"Explosion. You see what happens to that bag. Want me to explode your face this time you damn criminal?" He asked me with his clod tone making me shut up my mouth.

"Besides, lying about searching for money for hospital bills? I knew people when they lied and you scum is lying to me." Placing his palm in front of my eyes, I scream in fear as I expected to be blast by that explosion from his palm.

DANIEL POV

My palm now is in front of this criminal as I am just trying to intimidate him until my nose smells something awful.

"Shit. His pant is wet. " Taking a look at his want, I see it now is wet as he has peed due to getting scared by me.

I karate chop his head making him faint on the road as I had enough of threatening him.

Sound of clicking can be heard as I see many citizens now take care of pictures of me and some of them recorded me.

Giving them a thumb up, I get away from that place as I see the police cars are approaching here.

Disappearing completely from the eye from the crowd, I return back to my normal attire as I go to that bakery as I see ambulance is in front of that bakery as I see Susan is with that young woman.

Approaching them, I fake cough to gain their attention.

"That bastard has been arrested by the police," I informed them.

"Good thing he got captured by the police." Said Susan.

"What about the bakery's owner?" Asked me.

"M-my father is in a coma." The young woman said making me knew that his father only has minutes or rather seconds to live.

I then take notice of the young woman name as I see a name at the nametag on her cloth.

"Bella Jackson."(AN: JUST AN OC THAT I CREATED FOR THIS STORY)

" Let's take her to the hospital," I said with Susan take out her cellphone

"Johnny. Invite me to this location. The bakery where you used to buy a strawberry doughnut. And fast. If you did not arrive within 4 minutes, I am going to not cook your favourite spaghetti again." Susan threat her brother.

4 minutes later, a dashing red car arrived with in minutes as a blond man come out of the car.

Before he opened his mouth, Susan already pulls Bella into the car leaving me to sit at the front seat.

"So where are we going?" Johnny Storm asked her sister.

"Hospital," Susan replied.

"And fast. " Susan continued making the car move faster.

Arriving at the hospital, we quickly go to his father ward where his father is unconscious.

It did not take a genius mind to know what is going to happen next as Bella already cried with Susan kept comforting her. And it turned out Bella is adopted by the bakery owner.

Johnny meanwhile is downstairs buying drinks for us.

" Oracle, can the potion heal her father?" I ask my system.

"Yes. It can." Oracle replied making me sigh in relief.

Well, time to become a hero once again.

Approaching to both women, I stared at them both.

"Do you want to rescue your father?" I asked Bella who stared at me with tears and snot can he spotted on her face.

"C-can you rescue him?" She asks as I nodded my head.

"How? How can you rescue a man with zero chance to survive from losing so much blood and is at death's door?" Susan asked me making me smile.

"Magic. See, here. This is the potion that can heal anything." Pulling out my potion from my inventory made both females gasped in shock.

Of course, I already used my Stand, Star Platinum to destroy the CCTV around here since SHIELD or police will check the CCTV to check who has the power to "heal" people from having zero chance to survive to live again.

"P-please heal my father. He is the only one I have in this world." Bella pleaded to me making me felt a bit reminiscence about her and me.

We both did not have parent rather a guardian who becomes a parent figure to use. For her, she adopted my father and me, my uncle.

"Do not worry, you will be able to spend your time with your father after this."

Walking to her adopted father ward, I see a doctor a nurse in there making me wonder how I am going to heal his father without them noticing.

Right? I have a stand that grants me to stop time.

Shaking my head for my stupidity to remember the ability of my stand, I summoned out my Stand.

"5 seconds. 5 seconds is all I needed to heal her adopted father."

"Star Platinum: The World!" I said in my mind as my Stand made a sound as the whole area turned into grey and all movement has been frozen as the time has stopped.

Entering the ward, I give the potion to Star Platinum who then pour the portion liquid to Bella's father body as the body injury now is starting to heal. Any body part that has been slash is being regenarated back.

5 seconds passed, as now I am outside of the ward.

"W-what?His injury. It has been healed." The doctor announced as he looked at his patient who now has a healthy body without the sign of being stab and slash can be spotted on his body.

"How did this happen, doctor?" The nurse asked the doctor who cannot reply to her question.

I meanwhile am smiling as the notification of receiving the new gift of every month has arrived.

Oh, look at the time, 12:01 am and a new month for me. So another gift? Wonder what will I get?
