Seven Years Later

Seven (7) years had passed since Richard discovered his powers and he had discovered a few things about his abilities. One of which was that it could only be activated by physical contact and he doesn't receive the person's memories every single time.

In fact, he hadn't received the memories of anyone since then, instead he just got all their non-personal memories and experiences which meant that he was a literal knowledge magnet. It was as if the only reason he gained his mother's memories that day was because it was his ability's first day of manifesting.

Since then, he had touched every single person he had come across and could now be considered a pretty good business man, a chef, etc. The skills weren't much but then again, they came from people who worked in the mansion, Richard had expected some sort of combat memories from the Butler, Uncle Jon but the man didn't have any. He did however, have a lot of knowledge concerning Etiquette and mannerism so he had that going for him.

"Master Richard, please can you take some time to rest, you have been doing that for hours now" Uncle Jon said with concern on his tone

*Panting*

" I still…. huff…. Have a few …. Huff… more hours to go" Richard replied as he continued pushing his small body to its limits.

"But sir, this will be damaging to your health" The Elderly man replied still trying to dissuade him from continuing.

"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine" Richard replied knowing fully well that logically he wouldn't after all which 12-year-old would turn out fine after going through a mixture of Saitama's, Maito Gai's and Garou's workout routine (from OPM) but well this was the Marvel universe, Logic isn't exactly a common thing here

"Please stop this, if your mother sees you like this, she will blow more than just a fuse" he said but Richard smiled then continued his work out

(A/N: the real work out will basically turn you into a midget with multiple health problems if you start doing it at such a young age after all none of the aforementioned people are normal)

"I know but don't worry, I'll soon be done" Richard replied as he pushed on to finish the routine and get some rest.

Richard smiled while looking at the Elderly man who was repeatedly sighing at the fact that he couldn't just slap me and get over with it. He had finally joined the group of children that don't get punished instead gets timeouts as though that helps them with anything and he was enjoying it, if this was his past life, he would have surely gotten the slap of the century due to his disobedience.

As for why he was training, it was simple. This was the Marvel Universe and despite being of British descent, the family was based in New York aka the center of the whole Marvel Universe. His training may not truly help him but it would at least condition his body for the future.

"Here" Uncle Jon handed over the flask of water as Richard collapsed on the floor

"Thanks... Huff" He replied while breathing as loud as possible just to recover quicker

"I would have volunteered to carry you back to your room but I would assume, you would reject that as well" Uncle Jon said as he sat down close to him

"Oh, come on, Uncle Jon, you don't have to do me like that" Richard whined as his face contoured as though he was about to cry.

The two sat there until Richard finally recovered enough to carry himself to his room for a shower. He didn't truly expect the old man to carry him back to his room after all he was heavy and Uncle Jon looked like he was about to enter his 60s. He wasn't any different from normal 12-year-olds, it was just that at that age, anyone above the age of 4 should feel like an elephant to the carrier.

Aside from his training, Richard's other plans consisted of learning, learning and learning. There was no two ways about it, he wasn't exactly a genius like Tiny Stark or Reed Richards. He was just a normal guy with an ability and above all he didn't have access to people with the sort of knowledge he wanted so he was stuck here for now.
