Chapter 79 - Another Avenger Retired

"Is that so. Since this happened after our fight, that effectively makes it my fault. Well we can't have that" I say with a smirk that sends shivers to everybody else

"Umm, since when do you care" Rhodes the effective leader asked me. Stark is in a coma and Cap started blacking out from all the drugs Helena gave him to shut him up. That woman is the best doctor I have seen. She would make a great secretary

"What do you mean, reputation means everything to a wizard" I give a bright smile to them

"Now I suggest you move out of the way if you don't want to die" I don't give two shits about them, I just put a weak barrier around Stark and Helena

And then I released everything I had. Eldritch Energy, Nen, Magic Power, and Charka.

The building started shaking.. No the entire city was shaking. The ones near me that could stand fell on the ground clutching their chests and hyperventilating. The ones that were laying down had it the worst. Their hearts actually stopped.

I had to manually restart their hearts a second later.

Then I put my hands around the hulk and used the Principle of Astral Projection to shoot out Banner on my right and Hulk on my left.

"What's happening" Banner started looking around

"Huh" The hulk just looked at his body and started scratching his head in confusion

'The Arc' 'Eldritch Magic'

I started chanting in the original Eldritch Language,

"In my name and by my power

I free these two souls, imprisoned in one body.

Connected through science and fate.

Separated by magic and chaos.

No more shall you suffer.

The sorcerers of Kamar-Taj don't usually use this because it's a pain in the ass to learn, and an even bigger pain to speak it properly. If you mess up a single word *boom* there goes your spell, and you with it.

The effect was slow, their bodies started separating, in a very disturbing way. Bit by bit the green guy went right and Banner went left. The others turned their head away from the scene.

'Impossible' Banner in his astral form said in disbelief

After 2 minutes. Their bodies fully separated. I pulled both their astral forms down and into the newly separated bodies.

Both of them woke up and started coughing like crazy before taking some deep breaths and started to calm down

Well, they are alive. So it worked I guess.

"Did you just..." While Rhodes was busy finding the words, I went to the Hulk and slapped him on the back. I put a very strong Tracking spell linked to my Clairvoyance

"Off you go big guy!" a portal opened beneath him, sending him in Texas "This is gonna be a good way to pass the time. Watching the Hulk smash stuff on TV. Maybe I'll start streaming this for money?"

"Why would you let him go?" Banner struggles to stand up, but still glared at me. Huh I expected him to thank me, you would think that the Heroes of Earth would have at least some manners

"Texas I plan to watch him tear down the American Army. It will be pure Chaos. I love it!"

"Why would you do that!?!" Banner screams out

"Because it will be fun to watch.. duh. Well, now that's over with I actually am very busy so I will be taking my leave, tell Stark I stopped by and said 'I told you so'. " I open a portal and leave, Hydra bases need to be bombed, and I want to finish it quickly so I can start making preparations for the date.

"That madman!!" Banner throws a chair into the wall

"Dude, why aren't you happy that you are separated. Wasn't that like a longtime goal of yours?" Rhodes asks trying to pacify Banner

"Getting rid of the Hulk is my goal. Now he is out there, doing god knows what and people will think it's ME!"

"Excuse me for interrupting your.. panic attack. But Thor isn't waking up. This might be normal for you, but as Asgardians, we will wake up pretty soon after we are unconscious no matter what. Even if we are at death's door we will wake up and then die. Asgardians do not stay unconscious for this long unless it's a coma. So I would like to take Thor to Asgard to check him there" Lady Sif interrupts Banner's existential crisis

"That would be a good idea. We have no idea what's happening to him as our experience in healing Asgardians is basically nonexistent." Helena agrees with Sif's decision

"Great now one of the only people capable of stoping Hulk is going away. You know what this isn't my problem anymore. Jarvis Tony promised me he'd take me anywhere I want to go with one of his spare suits. Can you pilot it?" Banner asks

"Yes. If you want we can take off immediately. Mr.Stark chose Bora Bora for your location. There is a remote house owned by him there. He has chosen to give it to you. Please head to your room. There you will find hair dye and new clothes. "Jarvis's voice sounded out from the many speakers in the room

Banner goes up to Tony and puts his hand on his shoulder

"I'm sorry I'm leaving like this, but with the Hulk separated from me I'm useless to you guys, and the more I stay here, the bigger the chance I will get caught. Hope you get well soon Tony"

Banner starts leaving before he stops and turns around

"I'll tell Pepper that the poison is gone... See you guys, I wish you the best"

Nobody said a word as one more Avenger leaves the team. How could they? This is a dangerous life to live. The fact that half the people on their team are currently injured and laying on medical beds just proves that fact.
