Plus I had some RL issues to deal with. One week to get a new passport and other things. Then I tested positive for Covid. (Had no symptoms except a light cough). Wasted 8 days there. Wasnt rly in a good mood.

"Things got really bad"
(Flashback a day before)
[Avengers Tower- Medbay]
"Well you guys got your ass kicked" Stark says as he sits on the medbay table. Well the table that was free. In the medbay
Steve, Daisy. Thor were laying down on the beds
And The Hulk was actually strapped in. For some reason he didn't change back after the fight.
"Gee thanks Tony, anything else that you might want to add" says Steve who was the least injured of them all. Guess hiding behind a shield helps after all. But his arms are all bandaged and his left one is in a cast.
"Yea both you and Earthquake here have multiple fractions on your bones in your arms. You should be lucky to even use them after that.. 'fight' .If you can even consider that as a fight in the first place" Stark mumbles the last part, but everyone in the room could hear him
"Well what were we supposed to do?" Rogers yells out
"You were supposed to keep a cool head. What were you thinking calling him out like that, trying to force the guy who already beat our asses once before" Rhodes yells at him
"But it was the only wa..."
"The only way you could save my parents killer. How did that turn out for you., Oh yea, broken and beaten, forced to stay down on the bed, waiting to slowly feel anything in your arms that isn't pain" Stark says with a little spite
"Tony drop it" Rhodes stops the situation from escalating further.
"How long will Thor and Banner/Hulk be out cold" Stark asks the medical team and the one in charge Doctor Helena
"Well it seems he went easy on Capitan and Daisy, but he didn't hold back when hitting The Hulk and Thor. They have fractures all over their bodies even with their enhanced durability. " Helena says as she was reading their charts
"How long until I will be able to move again doctor?" Steve asks Helena hoping for at least some good news.
"Move around? Less then a week. Using those arms? At lest one to two months." She says in a strictly professional tone, they are not children. The news was delivered without any attempts to deliver the news more gently
"TWO MONTHS!!!" Steve yells out
"It seems you do not understand your situation Capitan. We have put enough drugs' on those arms so you can only feel a slight constant pain, the truth is every single inch of bone from your fingers to your shoulder is broken and fractured.
The only reason we were able to successfully finish the operation is because of the Technology available, and by that I mean JARVIS. Who made the calculations and the simulations that guarantee the highest success rate." She looks at the man while patiently explaining
"Without them, there is a good chance you would have never used those arms again. The girls condition was better than yours so she was easier to deal with" after informing them she goes back to her work, she was called in when she was out on a dinner, so she is a little pissed off. But as a doctor they have to be available 24/7 its in the job description
Cap just shuts up to process the facts presented to him.
"What about the big guy" This time Tony interrupted her
"Sigh... I cant do anything about his situation. It appears he is in some sort of dream like state. I say 'dream like' because it shows all the signs of dreaming without he actual dream. He is shifting a bit between Banner and Hulk every few hours but, mostly up to when he looks like a smaller Hulk. Somewhere in the middle between them so to speak" She reads off her notes
"Can we call somebody else to have a look at him. It's not that I'm undermining your work or that we don't trust you. But there are very few people on this planet that understand Gamma Radiation. And the only person in this room that can fully understand it is laying on the bed unconscious" Says Stark while looking at the smaller Hulk who has a painful expression on his face
"Sigh, you can call anybody you'd like Tony. I'm not going to stop you. But I'm telling you, the only person who can help Banner is himself. He has to deal with it on his own. So just wait and have hope that he will pull through whatever he is going through" Helena finishes her work and heads to the door
"I hope for the best i really do. But be prepared for the worst, this is uncharted territory, even i don't know what's going to happen." with that she leaves the med bay.
"Well that went great" Stark says with dry sarcasm, trying to lift the mood even somewhat
"What about you Warrior Princess what do you think" He asks Lady Sif who was standing near Thor but she was lost in thought and didn't respond
"Leave her alone. She has been under a lot of stress. Must be a tough job looking after someone like Thor" Rhodes speaks up
"Point taken" again no response to his attempts, he just looks around and shrugs his shoulders
"Well I want pizza. Pizza anybody else? It's from PizzaPalace* " says Tony who compared to the others, is in a great mood. His parents killer is braindead. Cap the guy who tried to save the him is laying on the bed with broken arms, and there is nothing anyone can do to help them. So he is in a great mood.
"Sigh.. Tony can we not do this right now?" Rhodes sighs again, getting tired from all of his Bullshit
"We'll take a slice" a familiar voice sounds out from the corner of the room
Everybody turns their head to see a silver blur heading straight for Stark.
