26: little spider

Back in the underground chamber.

The moment Miles entered the room, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he noticed the tense atmosphere between the other spider people.

"Miles," Gwen who noticed Miles' appearance couldn't help but call out to him immediately.

"What's wrong Gwen," Miles asked with a warm smile, staring deep into this blonde-haired girl's eyes.

"It's nothing, we are just preparing to leave and stop The kingpin, are you ready?" Gwen's expression became slightly calm after seeing Miles' attitude, although everyone was serious and nervous, only Miles seemed completely calm.

"of course, I'll be right behind you guys," Miles said before walking towards the area where he left his battle suit and gadgets.

"fits perfectly" he smiled as he hurriedly wore the upgraded black Spiderman suit as if it was a piece of treasure.

Miles finally placed his mask over his face before gathering up with the rest.

"we are all ready then, let's go" Noir who looked as mysterious as ever voiced out as he exaggeratedly tilted his hat.

"I wish you guys luck" Aunt May couldn't help but say after seeing the 6 spider people stand atop the platform leading out of the underground chamber.

"Don't worry about us, Aunt May, we will complete this mission" Even Peter who was unreliable previously decided to take this mission seriously since his life momentarily depended on it.

Miles didn't say anything as they left Aunt May's house and they all began releasing their Spiderwebs.

The difference between Miles and the other spider people was that they had to rely on artificial webs, while Miles' webs were organic and far more useful.

Miles followed closely behind the other spider people as they landed atop a tall structure and began surveying the surroundings.

"The Kingpin has a private elevator to his collider, we can use that to easily reach it and finish this" Penny who was inside her strange robot said through a communication device.

"It won't be easy to get inside though" Peter couldn't help but frown as he saw the large number of people swarming The Kingpin's penthouse.

"it's an audience," Miles said calmly, he had also taken notice of the situation down below.

To make matters even more flashy, dozens of bright beams of lights could be seen flashing around the area to make it even more spectacular.

"Let's take a look from up above," Miles said and immediately released his webs, within a flash of yellow electricity he immediately appeared atop the glass ceiling of The Kingpin's building.

The other 5 spider people looked at each other for a second.

Gwen was the first to move and immediately followed behind Miles, Peter followed right after until all of them landed atop the glass roof.

"It's just a party, but we can find a way in" Miles frowned as he peeked through the glass window, large numbers of people could be seen sitting down in the luxurious room.

Even the Kingpin's bodyguards were roaming around patrolling the area vigilantly.

"What is that dude blabbering about?" Peter couldn't help but frown as he saw The Kingpin at the front podium before the audience, a large poster of Spiderman hung up behind him as he spoke with his most sorrowful tone of voice.

"Spiderman and I were very close, it pains me that he has suddenly passed away," The Kingpin said as he faked a saddened expression, but with his stern face it looked rather comical.

"This guy is worse than a pig" Gwen frowned as she looked at this scene.

"What did you say?" Spider-ham who was clung to the glass roof immediately frowned as he heard her words.

"what is wrong with pigs" he glared.

the little pig was offended.

"Hold on, I've got something to scout the area first, it's best to know how many people we will be facing," Miles said before pulling out a strange device from the side of his waist.

the small metallic device suddenly unfurled itself and a small spider with wings flew out, it intelligently looked around before hovering around Miles.

"you made this little thing?" Spider-Ham couldn't help but become excited as he looked at the flying spider.

Miles pulled out a small controlling device with a screen before tapping around, after a second or so the flying spider immediately flew away before Spider-Ham could poke at it anymore.

"wow, you are a genius" Penny who was inside her robot couldn't help but exclaim as she looked at Miles' screen.

From the screen, they could see everything that the little spider saw with a clear vision, under Miles' control the little spider flew down the large building before entering and finding its way into the main area where The Kingpin was speaking to the audience before him.

"it's nothing serious," Miles said with a humble smile, his engineering skill was definitely useful, making small stuff like this didn't even take much effort for him.

if he spent money on more advanced technological materials, he could do far more with his Lvl 2 engineering skills that surpassed even Ganke Lee.

After a few minutes.

"As suspected, he came with all his little bodyguards, not only is Doctor Octopus working behind the scenes, the other ones are patrolling here too," Miles said as he hurriedly made the little black spider return to its container.

"So what should we do?" Noi couldn't help but say unconsciously, for some reason they all felt like this young man had everything within his grasp at this moment.

"Glad you asked," Miles said with a smile and tapped his screen once more, pulling up a video recording.

"it would've been risky if we simply tried to walk in, but I've found an unguarded area near the uppermost corner of the whole area, if we go through there and then through the vents that the little spider took, we can easily find ourselves right at our target...the super collider" Miles calmly explained to them as he pressed on the small screen, after making sure they all understood he placed his little gadget back before his eyes fell on all the spider people.

"Are you guys ready?"

"let's go"

Miles said before he immediately jumped off the large building, his Spiderwebs became whips of electricity as he swung towards a certain location behind the building.

The spider people followed behind him without speaking.

'I previously had a plan to get inside, but this seems a lot easier' Noir couldn't help but smile wryly as he followed behind, Miles was more useful than he had expected, despite only being a kid still in school.
