40 Chapter 40: The Hive

At the lowest underground floor of the Umbrella Headquarters in New York City, there is a football-sized stadium facility located one thousand meters deep underground.

A group of people can be seen standing on the command platform covered with shield glass, overlooking the football-sized field below through the glass.

They are still marveling at the beauty of this huge underground facility, The Hive.

As an Umbrella Company wannabe, Andy didn't forget to construct the popular underground facility in [Resident Evil].

It took him five days to create the underground hive facility using his powers.

The entire underground facility is made of Westeros Alloy, including the white walls, floor tiles, beams, foundation, and even the center pillar of The Hive for elevators.

The Hive will be powered by a Giant Arc Reactor. Just like Howard Stark, Agnes also discovered a new element called "Baddasium" or "NE" by researching the energy from the Tesseract Battery that Andy collected from HYDRA.

Agnes, Magistrate, Noah, and Enoch used the new element to create a giant 20-meter Arc Reactor with the help of Gibborims and Chronicoms' advanced technology and Westeros Alloy.

This last underground floor with a football-sized stadium is for the New Cerebro Room.

There are even one thounsand Symbiote Sentinel Robots on standby since the field center will act as a platform for the teleportation operation.

They also created another one hundred robot staff personnel to help Noah.

Andy and Agnes decided to upgrade the Cerebro Room for monitoring. They created a separate monitoring screen for normal humans and a new monitoring screen for supernatural beings.

The Cerebro Core now has an advanced energy detection device. If a supernatural being is using energy-based superpower, it will trigger an alarm and will be shown on the screen if some creatures are showing inhuman feats at the level of Super Soldier.

While Andy is busy constructing The Hive, Agnes and the others decided to launch another batch of Symbiote Satellites, reaching the number of satellites to 10,000.

Each Symbiote Satellite has its own Arc Reactor and is capable of providing energy and housing 10,000 Mini-Drones.

So basically, each Symbiote Satellite has become a Drone Hive connected to ten thousand Mini-Drones with the capabilities of shape-shifting into bees, birds, fish, and other smaller insects and animals while roaming the earth.

At first, Andy wanted to possess all the animals on Earth to become his eyes and ears, but he quickly dismissed this unreliable idea.

Firstly, the symbiote still doesn't have its own energy source, and it would eventually consume the host animal or insect if it failed to provide energy.

Secondly, even if the symbiote has its own energy source, it would have a negative impact on the Earth's ecosystem.

Lastly, it's not like the symbiote would acquire the genetic traits of the animals and insect if it possessed them.

If the symbiote were capable of that, the first thing Andy would do is possess a spider to become Spider-Man.

So basically, the Symbiote Copy Ability is only available to creatures with supernatural abilities, superpowers, or extraordinary abilities.

The copy ability will not work on normal animals, and only on normal humans with talents such as language, fighting experience, driving experience, etc.

However, when it comes to intelligence or super IQ, the symbiote is not capable of copying that. If it could, then Andy would become the smartest human in the world.

Otherwise, he just needed to possess all the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe, such as Reed Richards, Tony Stark, etc.

Even if he could become a scientist with their experience, Andy lacks the qualities of a scientist, such as imagination for invention, innovation or enlightenment during research to solve problems or formulas.

The Golden Finger also has another limitation when it comes to copying physical abilities.

For example, since the symbiote has already copied Steve Rogers' Super Soldier Physique, the "Superimposed" function of the Golden Finger will not work even if the symbiote possessed 100 Super Soldiers again.

If Andy wants to further strengthen his physical strength, he needs to possess different superhuman beings to enhance his physical abilities such as strength, durability, speed, agility, reflexes, and stamina.

If the symbiote is capable of such a feat, Andy only needs to create millions of Super Soldiers, and he can shatter the continent with just one punch by combining millions of Super Soldier physiques.

In short, all the physical strength of symbiote is the combination of strength from different people such as Steve Rogers, Aisha, Apocalypse, Vampire, etc.

After placing the Symbiote Arc Reactor deep in the Hive Center and powering the whole underground facility, Andy turned his attention to the people beside him.

They were Agnes, Violet, Enoch, Noah, Magistrate, and Mercury.

It was not a surprise that even Mercury was here since she was already part of the Westeros Family.

As expected of Andy, he really would not let go of any female characters that interested him.

"How is it? This is my hard work for five days, I didn't even sleep," Andy said with pride after accompanying them to visit all the underground floors of The Hive.

"This is really a good design, dear... When will we also build Hives across America and all the countries in the world?" Agnes praised him, as she really liked this kind of underground facility.

She had already started thinking of building hives in every state as a base of operation for her Masque Group.

"Well, we will plan on building Underground Hives in each state later. We will also build branches in other countries after the war calms down in their regions," Andy promised her. This plan would take at least until the 21st century.

"Alright, you can already activate the Cerebro Core," Andy nodded to Noah.

"Yes, sir," Noah replied in his usual robotic tone. He stepped in front of the main computer and just touched it to connect with the computer system using his 'computer interaction' ability.

Soon, the whole command room lit up, and the devices were activated, and a huge main holographic screen appeared and below it is also three huge holographic screens.

The left holographic screen was for observing and monitoring normal humans, the right holographic screen was for supernatural beings, and the center screen was for the world map connected to satellites.

At the same time, after the Cerebro Core was activated, 10,000 symbiote satellites shows up orbiting the earth and made a connection with the Cerebro.

Every symbiote satellite opened its hatches and let out the 10,000 mini-drones, and the drones dived down to earth while changing their shapes into small creatures.

On the Cerebro Room, the alarm notifcation sounded just after activating the Cerebro.

"Show it on the main screen." Andy ordered Noah, and the latter accepted.

Soon, the screen showed a satelite map images above the forest, then five mini-drones disguised as small birds go inside the forest to shows a clear picture of the fast moving humanoid creature but was surrounded by hundreds of soldiers.

This vampire was on the run from HYDRA soldiers ever since the HYDRA decided to captured them as experimental subjects.

He had been hiding in the ruined city for months, feeding on the blood of the wounded and dying soldiers. But now, he was being hunted down and was forced to flee to forest.

Hiding in the dense forest and using his powers to stay one step ahead of the HYDRA soldiers who were hot on his trail.

He had been careful, moving silently through the trees and avoiding any signs of human activity. But eventually, his luck ran out.

As he was crossing a small stream, the vampire heard the sound of footsteps behind him. He turned around just in time to see a group of HYDRA soldiers emerge from the trees, their weapon aiming at him.

The vampire leaped into action, attacking them with his superhuman strength and speed. He was able to knock down several soldiers, but more kept coming.

The vampire was getting tired, but he refused to give up. For five minutes, the vampire fought off the HYDRA soldiers, using his powers to try and escape.

But the soldiers were well-trained and well-equipped for capturing vampires, and they were able to capture him in the end and was injected with tranquilizer.

After seeing that the vampire was succesfully captured and was sacked with special material to shield from the sunlight, they held him up to go out of the forest.

"Hmm, show his identity," Andy tested the new capability again. the Cerebro invaded the vampire's mind to learn his origins.

On the screen, a 3D picture of the vampire appeared, along with his name and history. The vampire was a middle-aged man named John Falsworth, a pureblood vampire and the leader of the House of Falsworth.

"Huh?" Andy was surprised, then grinned after reading his identity. "Isn't this Baron Blood?"

"What's wrong, dear?" Agnes looked at him. She didn't see anything special about that vampire other than being a bit stronger compared to the vampires they captured days ago.

"Nothing, I just thought of something," Andy answered with a huge smile on his face.

"Seeing his smile, you could tell that he is thinking of something perverted, che!" Violet demolished Andy's pretending-to-be-mysterious-and-deep facade.

"Maybe you're right about that," Agnes look at Andy with deadpanned stare.

*Cough* "Don't slander my innocence," Andy defended himself.

He really wasn't thinking of one of the sexiest Marvel characters in the comics, Spitfire. Really.

Mercury lowered her head, pretending to be non-existent. She had just joined the family and was still shy about the mentioning of Andy's romantic nature.

"???" Enoch and Noah just stared at them with question marks on their heads, while Magistrate pretended to be a tortoise and stepped back into the corner.

"Anyways, enough of this, Noah," Andy called Noah to change the subject. "Try searching the names of James Montgomery Falsworth, Brian Falsworth, and Jacqueline Falsworth."

"Yes," Noah operated the computer again to check all the minds of people on the planet.

While waiting, Andy thought about Baron Blood. To think he even existed in this world. It's just that his origin is so much different from the comics.

In this world, he is a hundred-year-old pureblood vampire. Come to think of it, Ginato also mentioned the House of Falsworth, and he just thought it was the same name and not that important.

After waiting for a minute, the screen showed three pictures of James, Brian, and Jacqueline. Their history still remains the same as in the comics.

They are still a noble family in England and have a blood connection with Baron Blood, but for some reasons, they are not vampires.

James, the father of Brian and Jacqueline, is a British military major and was captured alongside with Bucky, the future member of the Howling Commandos.

Jacqueline is also an SSR field agent, the same position as Peggy Carter.

While Brian was also taken as a prisoner with Bucky Barnes and his Father in an Austrian HYDRA Weapon Facility.

"Now, this is what I call really interesting," Andy said, really surprised this time.

Because two days later, Steve Rogers and the Star Spangled Singer will visit Italy for a show, and that's when Stever Rogers will learn about the defeat of 107th Infantry regiment and would go deep behind the enemy line to save Bucky Barnes

It will also the start of his career as a superhero Captain America.
