35 Chapter 35: Activating the Mutant Detector
Inside the huge Mutant Detector Observation Room.
Bolivar Trask finished working on the main core of the Mutant Detector, he quickly walked to the group of people waiting and said respectfully, "Sir it's already done, it only needs your final arrangement to activate it."
"Well done Professor Trask, your really helpful to us." Andy praised the hardworking professor, he really starts to appreciate this guy.
Andy patted his shoulder and stepped in front of the main core and summoned a bunch of symbiotes to replace all the machines and appliances. Replacing them with symbiote can prevent these electronics from overloading and malfunctioning, it could also prevent others from destroying the Mutant Detector.
Even the platform for portal is made of symbiote, it could have a surprise element if someone from the other side of the portal decided to step inside, their first landing would be the platform.
After finishing these, Andy look back and saw the excited expression of the girls he come with and curious which kind of mutant they will find. They were Raven, Eva, Emma, Adrienne, Cordellia, and Astrid.
"Ok, let's start." Andy ordered, Bolivar Trask activated the machine and the waiting staff quickly sat on their respective place to monitor the situation.
Soon the whole observation room dim and the huge main holographic screen show the world map, its worth mentioning that Agnes Cully and Magistrate already finished creating a symbiote satelite and quietly launched them to the space.
The symbiote satelite is capable of stealth and anti-gravity technology, now the company has its own private internet based on Hive-Mind amd could monitor the inside and outside of the Earth.
It also has its own weapon technology based on HYDRA Energy Gun and Canon to defend from the threat outside the earth.
On the screen, every countries map is shown to scanned by the mutant detector, its first focus on America.
It will shows the blue dots if it's a normal human, then red dots if awakened mutants.
"Let's see first on our side." Andy said and the staff quickly operate their computer to scanned the New York City.
One the map, it shows five dots and the screen zoomed in showing the features of them, the virtual line appearance of the five young girls is presented on the screen.
"Woah, that's us." Raven quickly cheered and pushed and shake the girls beside her.
"Yes, we really appeared on the screen." Emma also said excitedly
They're every move, action and voice can be heard through the monitoring screen.
"Hey brother Andy, is not this a bit too much, what if we wanted to go to bathroom... can you do something about our privacy." Adrienne immediately protest, it's not a good feeling if someone will monitor them 24/7. The other four quickly nodded in agreement.
"Hahaha, my bad.... I wiill let the symbiote on our bodies to remove us from the observation list." Andy controlled the Core of the Mutant Detector to make a privacy list so they wouldn't appear on the screen.
The screen zoomed out a bit and shows the red virtual figure of Selene Gallio laying lazily on the couch with two blue virtual figure of Agatha Harkness and Lady Linnea, the three of them look around when they sensed something scanning them.
Andy quickly contacted and rest assured them and moved their names into privacy list. He also moved the names of Agnes, Violet and the others high ranking member of the Masque Group and some of the company employees with symbiote like Trask and Magistrate.
He could still monitor them though if there was emergency, such as their life is in danger or something important.
The screen zoom out again and shows the figures of Charles Xavier on the Westchester County, Armando Muñoz on Los Angeles then the map of the whole North America.
"Oh???" Andy was surprised that he didn't find other mutants beside them on the whole North American Continent.
He anticipated of finding Caliban on America. unfortunately he couldn't find him.
"It seems that it's still early for mutantkind to awakened their powers." Andy shook his head helplessy, without the X-Gene Detection of Caliban he could only wait honestly.
Speaking of which, the mutants who appeared on the [X-Men: First Class] were already under their observation such as 3 years old Hank McCoy or Beast, 3 years old Alex Summers or Havok, 1 year old Sean Cassidy or Banshee, 2 years old Angel Salvadore or Tempest, 8 years old Janos Quested or Riptide.
As for Azazel, his whereabouts still unknown because of his 'Teleportation' ability and might be living in solitude because of his devilish appearance, he would know his location later.
"Well, tried checking on the South America." Andy ordered and the staff quickly shows the whole map of South American Continent, and it only shows blue dots meaning there's no mutant
Then the screen showed African Continent, but still nothing.
After trying the South East Asia, the screen showed a single red dot on Japan.
"Good, focus on this mutant." Andy said excitedly, which mutant is it? honestly, there was a lot of mutant in Japan.
On the screen, a red virtual silhouette appeared along with a blue virtual silhouette, and it looks like the female mutant is struggling and the male silhouette is forcing himself on her.
The computer screen transmitted the crying voice of the female mutant, "Yamero!" "Yamete Kudesai!"
Andy was dumbfounded when he heard this line, but he quickly reacted and activate the portal to the side of the female mutant.
Meanwhile, a chinese guy with glasses is forcing a young japanese girl to be intimate with him.
Suddenly, a bright black portal appeared on the corner of the room stopping the chinese guy from his action, he quickly let go of the crying girl and stood in shock watching the other side of the portal.
On the other side of the portal is Andy holding a big magnum gun aiming at the guy's head.
With a *Bang* he pressed the trigger before the guy could even scream, his head burst like a watermelon.
Andy stepped on the other side of the portal and looked at the disheveled japanase girl, he summoned a symbiote and tossed it at her and it quickly covered her body with new clothes.
Fortunately, he arrived earlier and prevented the tragedy..
The mutant japanese girl still in shock on what trasnpired on her, first her guardian forced himself to her, then a portal suddenly appeared and killed her guardian.
"Hmm, it looks like you are still in state of shock? anyway, come with me."
Seeing the girl is still stupefied, Andy motioned his hand and lifted the body of the mutant girl with telekinesis and followed him back to the other side of the portal.
After going back, the girls surround them and looked curiously at the japanese girl.
"You should tortured that scum firstt before killing him." Adrienne said angrily, she is displeased that guy is given a quick death.
"That's right, we should torture him for 100 years before killing him." Raven also said with cute angry expression. The other three little girls also nodded in agreement.
"Alright, Alright... I will listen to you little girls." Andy raised his in defeat and summoned a portal again and throw a symbiote at the guys body, he used telekinesis to recovered the remains and sealed the body and said, "I will revive him later and torture him for years, satisfied?"
"Yes!" "Umu!"
He only does that because he wanted to try the power of his 'weapon summoning' ability he gained from Aisha and the other four Clandestine, and he was satisfied with his weapon of choice though, he's weapon is a double big magnum revolver with unlimited bullet.
The he turned his attention to the confused japanese mutant girl and said, "Oh right, i forgot you can't understand us."
The symbiote inside her body transmit basic information like language and the uses of symbiote.
The girl's eyes suddenly become ink black and she wad receiving the information, because of the 'knowledge abosorption', the symbiote's host will not experienced intense headache anymore everytime it transmit information.
It took a minute before the girl recovered and Andy asked, "So now, could you tell me what's going on?"
He still a bit confused about the situation, with her mutant power, she could protect herself and kill that guy easily.
The japanese girl looked at him for a moment before saying in jerky tone, "The guy... The guy earlier is my new guardian name Li Fong, because my father is addicted to gambling and became indebted to him so my father used me as a payment."
"Oh so that's how it is." Andy nodded and figured it out quickly, because of the servitude deep inside the japanese culture, she didn't think of using her power to prevent her guardian from forcing himself on her other.
"What's your name Big Sister?" Raven asked her curiously, she looks like much older than them.
"Me?... I'm Hasu--... No, my name is Lotus, 17 years old this year, Mother called me that name." Lotus introduce herself embarassedly, she's still a bit apprehensive about her suddent situation.
Hearing this, Andy was surprised, he knows this name and that's why he is having deja vu since her experience is a bit similar to Lady Lotus, the mutant who is keen on creating trouble inside the America when Japan was declared as enemy by the states.
Although her birth and experience deviated a bit, the overall situation remain the same like her father is a gambling addict and sold her, and were almost raped by Li Fong. In the comics, her mother is a mutant and teaches her how to hone her mutant power with the assistance of a lotus flower.
Her mother died suddenly and she was sold by her father and she was raped by Li Fong and decided to kill him when she turns into adult and lived in America for the future, but she eventually became villainess though.
Andy checked her ability again, although not strong as the comics but her telepathic power is also on the low to mid-order telepath capable of 'broadcasting thoughts', 'reading mind', 'altering perceptions', 'casting illusions', 'paralyzing inducement', and the 'mind-control'.
Unfortunately, she didn't have the gem that could enhanced her psyhic powers and granted her with 'flight' and 'force field'.
Andy took note of this, maybe he could find this gem later somewhere on the pacifics.
