Chapter 68 Changing side

In the wood outside Xavier academy for gifted youngsters.

Scott now was very furious. He looked like he was going to explode from the blood vein that showed on his face.

"Why! Just why!! Why did you choose him over me JEAN!!"

Scott shouted as he blasted his wooden targets with his laser eyes. He was deep inside the wood so that no one would notice him. He wanted to train himself to the bone in order to forget.

"Not only you but Miss Ororo and Logan too why they chose him not me why…and those traitors!"

Not only did Jean side with him but even his own mentor and teacher choose Sullivan over him. They told him that he was too much.

And those traitors that once called him their friend went out with him. not a bit care of his well-being.

Scott blasted yet another poor wooden log.

"Was It too much that I just wanted to get what was mine back!"

While he was training he always remembered what Sullivan did to him. Even though Charles had deleted some part of his memories. but there were still remnants of it.

He is his mortal enemy now. He will do everything to make him fall then he will get Jean back.

He who was falling into a path of vengeance heard someone calling him from behind.

"Then why don't you join us Cyclop"

The one who spoke to him was a middle-aged man wearing an iron helmet and red cape.

Scott looked at him with so much anger in his eyes of course behind his glasses.

"Will you help me get revenge?"

The middle-aged smiled.

Scott after hearing that accepts his proposal will turn his back to the ones that betrayed him.

Inside Sullivan's bedroom on the second floor in the same building as his internet cafe.

Sullivan was trying to get rid of the bad luck.

He used gacha to fight it and it worked.

He lost almost a hundred thousand dollars in genshin impact just to get some third-rate item.

Sullivan sighed. He didn't feel salty at all. Because It wasn't his money.

Sullivan after getting rid of his bad luck got out of his room and he looked at the clock. It was almost 10 pm now.

"Sol"

Luna looked at Sullivan sleepily as she was sitting on the sofa inside the living room watching Rick and Morty.

Sullivan blinked if the memories served him right, it wasn't for children. but whatever if she wanted to watch it.

"You should go to bed now Luna."

Luna nodded at Sullivan before raising her arms.

"Carry me please"

Sullivan saw that he couldn't help but shook his head. He then carried her to her room.

While he was carrying her she told him something.

"Please help them Sol. If you do not help them they will badly hurt"

"They? Who do you mean?"

"You will know but I can't tell you."

Sullivan after hearing her nodded. Her power was unpredictable. Even though she could see the future, it was vague. But she could tell him that he would know then he would know it.

Sullivan walked to her bed in her room before tucking her inside the blanket.

Luna smiled at him before kissing him on the cheek.

"Goodnight Sol"

Sullivan didn't mind Luna kissing him on the cheek. It was just a sisterly kiss after all.

Sullivan then went out of her room before turning off the TV.

After that, he went to the first floor and he felt that something must be going on when he was trying to rid of his bad luck.

He thought that only the spider group remained but the mutant group was still here as well. only Jean and Anna were nowhere to be found.

He tried to sense her and found that she was talking to Anna inside the back room.

Sullivan then looked at everyone, especially Ororo who just finished calling someone. Her face was now very serious.

'Yeah. Look like it is about something that Luna had told me'

Sullivan walked in front of everyone.

"You are all still here, don't you all have to go back before curfew?"

Ororo hearing Sullivan. She looked at him and hesitated a bit before speaking.

"The school was attacked. Charles Logan and Hank can stop the attack but the dormitory gets destroyed. We will have to stay in the hotel for the time being."

Sullivan after hearing her. He was now confident that what Luna told him was about them.

"Which hotel?"

"I don't know, we still haven't checked it."

"Leave it to me"

"No, we can not impose on you."

"No, I will deal with it. You can not stay at any normal hotel. You told me that your school was attacked right if I am right you all are likely to get attacked too. In here you all will be protected by my ward."

Ororo thought for a bit before nodding her head. Her student safety was her priority now.

"Good. on the third floor there are rooms for my former bodyguards that were called back a while ago so you all can go and check it."
