"I…I can't"

Xavier still refused to unblock her power. He tried to look as guilty as he could.

Jean didn't care about his guilty look and angrily asked him.

"Why?"

Xavier went silent a little. He knew that his trick didn't work. So he tried to emphasize his reason.

"I can't Jean, the entity inside you is too dangerous. If we let it out, not only you but everyone will die."

Jean went silent. She didn't believe that the professor she knew would be like this.

"Sol already told you that the entity inside me isn't dangerous."

"And you believe him! not me, your professor. I have more knowledge than him so please Jean believe in me."

Jean thought a bit before speaking with her conviction.

"I believe in him, Professor. He has proven to me many times since I met him. and It isn't that I don't believe you, Professor. but you taught me to believe in results and He gave me results."

"But he could trick you because He expect something from you."

"That's normal. He's my fiancee after all. He could expect everything from me. and Now I am not requesting you to remove it but I demand it. because It is to my right. If you can't remove it, loosen it so I can feel what it is like to be normal again!"

Xavier couldn't speak. He knew that he couldn't talk things out anymore. Not only Jean was against him but also Ororo who glared hard at him.

Logan and Hank stayed out of this. It wasn't their problem. and they didn't want to attract the goddess ire.

"I…*sign* okay you win. I will but not today. we need a suitable place if something goes wrong. I need time to think. Please see yourself out."

Xavier had no choice but to accept it now. He sent everyone out before He closed the door. Nobody knew what he did inside his room.

Sullivan looked behind him. He wasn't sure if the professor would do as he had said.

Sullivan looked at Jean before speaking

"Don't worry if He still refuses to unblock your core I will but slowly okay even though the entity behind those blockages didn't mean me any harm but the heat is still enough to cook me."

"Thank you"

Jean smiled beautifully at Sullivan which he smiled back.

"That's what friends do."

Jean's smile disappeared on her face. She looked at Sullivan blankly

"?"

"You told everyone that I am your fiancee you need to take responsibility."

"Really Jean I just…"

"No you have to. I promised you that I will try to grow my assets more so you could be satisfied."

"You didn't have to…"

"I don't care, I am your fiancee now!"

Jean then walked away. She didn't care what Sullivan would say. He said it himself that She is his fiancee so He must uphold his words.

"Women…"

Sullivan shook his head before following her.

Ororo observed the two there something wasn't right. but It wasn't her place to judge.

"Logan, do you think the professor will uphold his word?"

"Hardly"

"Why?"

"You heard him say it. The entity they spoke about is too dangerous to let go. He must plan something behind the door. I think we should prepare ourselves."

Logan though lost his memories but he wasn't stupid. He knew that Chales did something to his mind. and knew that He wasn't who he was outside. inside him he was very cunning and self righteous in his own terms.

Logan even though knew that he did something to his mind didn't care. It wasn't like he had somewhere to go, someone to spend his life with. He was just a shell that had no meaning.

Ororo was sad to see that Logan didn't care anything about himself.

Inside the living room.

Kurt, Kitty and Anna were killing time by playing monopoly. They were waiting for Jean to show up.

"Hey, what do you think about that handsome man?"

Kitty spoke to the two while placing her hose on Kurt land.

"Who?"

Kurt wasn't there when Sullivan got off the car so He didn't know.

Anna thought a bit before speaking.

"I think He is Jean's boyfriend. He beat Scott when He insult her after all but I don't know what type of power he had."

He could make some kind of barrier to defend Scott's power. and then sent some kind of invisible energy to attack him. not only that He also beat Ororo, the goddess of storm easily.

"I really want to know more about him."

"Hey you can! My name is Sullivan Morningstar. What about yours?"

"Ah!!"

The three were jump scared. They didn't even notice when He sat among them.

"What is this…a monopoly? I haven't played with it since I was seven. Can I join you? Jean was angry at me and didn't let me inside her room."

Sullivan was like a puppy who was abandoned. The three looked at each other before they let him play with them.

He fit in very naturally…the three then introduce themselves to him and be friends after that.
