Chapter 43 Mind IIIusion Charm

Professor Xavier was now standing not far from the group of students with his staff.

Logan and Hank standing behind him.

Logan, known as Wolverine, He was a big dude with a rough face now he was drinking beer like it was normal thing to do in the morning.

Hank known as Beast he was…a bit furry his fur was blue.

They now observed Sullivan and Jean.

Logan and Hank were surprised to see Jean was back. but not as surprised and happy as Xavier.

"Oh Jean you are back!"

Xavier controlled his wheelchair and moved closer to Jean. Everyone parted ways so the professor could come closer easier.

"Professor"

Jean smiled, greeting Xavier. She seemed a little different from before.

"You look happier than in the past, did something good happen?"

Xavier asked curiously. He knew that Jean was not supposed to be this vibrant. His blockage was still there. and It should block her emotion to some extent.

All of this was his scheme in order to have her back.

She would come back and ask for his help when She couldn't control her emotions anymore. and that's when He will strike a deal with her.

'Well even though it wasn't like I had expected, it was still going according to my plan.'

Jean looked around before telling him that this place wasn't good to talk about what happened to her recently.

Xavier nodded his head before inviting her to his office but before that. He didn't forget the young man who came with her.

"Forgive my rudeness I still haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Chales Xavier The professor of Xavier's school for gifted youngsters and who might you be?"

Even though He looked amicable and spoke politely. Sullivan could sense hostility radiating from him.

'This bold man was weird. He looks kind and amicable but inside he is full of schemes. Like The Greater Good addict.'

Sullivan smiled back and Introduce himself

"My name's Sullivan Morningstar The Owner of Morningstar internet cafe in Manhattan Nice to meet you"

"Internet cafe?"

Everyone who heard Sullivan's introduction couldn't help but think. If the internet cafe brought so much money that he could even afford the lamborghini.

Xavier looked at Sullivan and tried to read his mind. but that was a very big mistake.

"What the…!"

Xavier's face went pale. He saw and felt what he shouldn't. Only a second passed outside while inside many minutes had passed.

Xavier wanted to yell at Sullivan. He knew it was his doing but He noticed everyone looking at him.

'I…I can't let myself get angry now or they will know.'

Sullivan smirked at Xavier. He came prepared. The one he had tasted was Mind Illusion Charm. Sullivan couldn't prevent him from coming inside his head but he could fake his mind and cover it with an illusion.

All Xavier saw was him being tentacled not only He could see but he could feel. It was so disgusting that He almost puked.

Sullivan of course didn't see it. He only set it up. Who wanted to see those ugly signs? He didn't want to have a nightmare until he died.

"Let-Let's go to my off-office…"

Xavier said shakily.

"Are you okay professor, you looked pale."

Hank asked with concern. Xavier shook his head before he told him that he was okay.

Then everyone went to his office. Xavier looked at Sullivan before speaking.

"I am sorry but this is private matter we cannot-"

"Jean, he didn't want me to come with you. Am I a stranger to you? I am so hurt."

Jean was hurt seeing Sullivan was disappointed She immediately spoke to him.

"No Sol, you are not a stranger to me. You are my friend. You can come with me. If the professor does not allow it then we could go home together."

"Really?"

"Absolutely."

Logan and Hank looked at each other.

"She was smitten by this boy"

"Yeah you right. I didn't believe She is the Jean that I used to know."

The two didn't feel anything If Jean was his girlfriend but the professor looked like he ate a whole bucket of lemon.

'This boy!'

Xavier couldn't help but allow him to go inside his office. At that time Ororo came back from the infirmary too. She looked at Sullivan but did nothing Scott wasn't in danger. He was just knocked out.

She hoped that Scott would learn something from this.
