Chapter 355 Training Arc?

Sullivan needed to replace Hyoudo Issei. He had to become a protagonist of this world. His strength was more than enough to replace him. 

Even the biggest boss, like Trihexa, might not even be able to do anything to him. His divine power of protection was no joke.

And he could destroy it by using his divine power of destruction.

"Should I go and kill it and be done with this world? Nah, I can't do that because the world's will will collapse."

He couldn't do something like that. He could not skip canon events in any world that wasn't in his jurisdiction. If he did that, there might be a high chance that the entire reality would cease to exist.

"What a drag, I can't speed run any world then."

He must accept it. He knew that with greater power comes much greater limitation. Otherwise, those who had power would abuse it. And it must have been his grandfather who governed the law of the omniverse.

He got this much power, which should not be given by anyone. This meant that his grandfather really favored him, like his aunt said.

"I really miss Jean and Sis, I have to learn how to control my power as fast as I can and then go back home."

He didn't know to what extent he needed to do to finish the role of the protagonist of this world. Should he become a harem king like the original protagonist wanted? But he actually had his own harem already, and they were so beautiful, like goddesses.

"Well, let's take it step by step. First thing first, I need to learn how to control the natural power which is the lesser law of the universe."

Sullivan went toward the place where he could feel the abundance of energy flowing, ready to start his training arc.

The matter of dueling with Riser Phenex. Grayfia had informed Sullivan that they would fight with each other in a week.

She said that he needed to be prepared, but she also knew that Riser Phenex wasn't his match at all. She just told him for formality.

Now Rias, Koneko, and Akeno had come to the place where Sullivan had been training. Koneko felt so relaxed when she came near him. He released a very pure natural energy that was very beneficial to Yokai.

The pure natural energy didn't contain even a little bit of negative energy. Sullivan was like an air purifier. He would solve the natural crisis at this point if he kept doing this for a few years.

"He is really strong. He is like a sage who is not easily troubled by the world's darkness."

Koneko said as she sat near him and took in the pure natural energy to improve her strength.

"It's too bad we can't absorb natural energy. Otherwise, it would be very beneficial to us."

Rias also went and sat near him. Akeno followed her closely. They observed him as he meditated. Rias and Akeno must admit that he was really handsome when they looked at him up close.

"You two can also absorb the natural power. Devil power, angel power or any kind of power also comes from nature, you know."

Sullivan still abosorbed the negative natural energy and purified it. He didn't need to be in a meditative stage. He acted like he meditated because he just thought it was cool.

Rias and Akeno didn't know about that and thought that it was only Yokai who could absorb natural power. But what Sullivan said was kind of reasonable. The Devil, Angel, Yokai, and even humans were parts of nature. So, technically, anyone should be able to absorb natural power.

"Can you teach us? We don't know how to absorb natural energy."

Rias asked. She was curious about how it would feel if she could absorb natural energy.

"Yes, please teach us. As for the compensation, I will pay instead of Rias."

Akeno said it seductively. She knew that Sullivan was a good guy. She started to tease him, but who was Sullivan? He won't be teased that easily.

"Are you really sure about that? I really like  a beautiful, sadistic, yet docile woman, you know."

"Docile? I think Sullivan-kun might have mistaken me for someone else."

"No, I look at the right person. Why don't we have a test  to see if you can handle my sadistic side?"

Sullivan showed his sharp fangs, a wicked grin spreading across his face. Akeno felt her heart beat very fast with wariness and excitement.

"See, you are really my kind of girl. So are you going to pay me now or later?"

Akeno was weak when she got attacked. Not many people knew about this fact except Rias and Koneko. However, the number of people who knew the real her increased by one.

"You are really good, Sullivan. Not many people could make her like that."

Rias gave a small smile. Maybe Sullivan might be able to help Akeno and Koneko with their problems. Sullivan just lived with them for a few days, but he could make them feel like they had known each other for a long time.

"Okay, I will not tease Akeno anymore. Let me teach the two of you how to absorb the natural energy, then."

They were not well in tune with nature, but they could absorb it. However, Sullivan warned them that they must not absorb the natural energy that was full of negative energy directly. They might fall into madness and go out of control.

"We understand, sensei!"

Both Rias and Akeno tried to tease Sullivan from time to time, and it backfired on them almost immediately. They liked to test his patience and see how much he could handle.

Koneko didn't have much to say, but just looking at how she always sat on his lap when he meditated told everyone that she had opened up to him.
