Chapter 262 Testing each other [Edited]

Sullivan knew that Archer was shocked at how he was called by the little girl.

It was like a big blow to his pride as a heroic spirit. If anyone heard that, they would mock him even when they returned to the throne of heroes.

"I see. Well, to answer your question, should you deal with the criminal or not? You could try."

Sullivan raised his eyebrows at his provocation. He smiled after that. His blood was boiling at the prospect of fighting with someone like him.

Archer might be strong, but he can't be compared to the brother gods. This was a good chance to see if he was strong enough to fight him or not.

"Yes, I think I will give it a try then."

Sullivan thought about it a little bit, and then he got a good idea of how he should fight with him.

He spread his hand forward. The surrounding area changed at his will.

It became a hill of swords. When Archer saw that, his eyes went wide. He was shocked to see what had happened in front of him.

"Reality Marble? No, this one is fake. How can you create such a thing without even an incantation?"

Sullivan didn't do it without an incantation. He just spoke it from his heart. He decided not to tell him about it and smirked before provoking him.

"How do you feel? Am I even faker than you?"

"...."

Archer looked at Sullivan, who copied his reality marble to a tea. He couldn't believe someone who wasn't a servant could use such a noble phantasm.

Archer's disbelief quickly turned into a mixture of admiration and annoyance. He couldn't help but wonder how Sullivan had managed to replicate his reality marble with such precision.

The smirk on Sullivan's face only grew wider, fueling Archer's annoyance.

"Let's try it then."

Archer then summoned Kanshou and Bakuya. He was ready to fight with Sullivan.

As the blades materialized in Archer's hands, he couldn't shake off the feeling that this battle would be unlike any he had faced before.

The two didn't need to speak further, as they knew what was inside their minds.

They charged at each other. Sullivan conjured many weapons into his fake reality marble. Then he used all of it to attack Archer.

Archer with an inhuman perception could deflect them easily. He smirked at Sullivan.

"Heh, It looks like your experience in fighting couldn't keep up with your power. This is too easy."

Archer used psychological tactics in fighting with Sullivan. However, Sullivan would never fall for such a petty trick. He just smiled and accepted that his experience might not compare to someone like him.

"Yeah, I have so much power but can't utilize it at will. How shameful. All I could do was just spam it until I could annihilate my enemy."

Ten times as many weapons had been added to the fake reality marble. The power of each weapon was only ten percent compared to the original, But with that kind of amount, for Archer, it was very scary.

"Damn it! How could he have so much prana? I can tell it didn't decrease at all."

Archer started to struggle, fighting with the hail of weapons shot at him from every direction. He didn't know that all Sullivan did was not use his own prana but guide the surrounding prana with his will instead.

It made him look like he had unlimited prana at his disposal, which was true in some parts.

"How unsightly, Archer. To struggle in front of a faker like me."

Sullivan smirked as his hair blew in the air. His red wine eyes looked at Archer as he struggled to keep up with the dodging.

Acher, who heard him, couldn't help but smirk back. Even though he was fighting for his life. He knew that Sullivan didn't want to kill him. He just tested him like he does now.

Archer still didn't use any of his real power. He still didn't even use the prana he got from Rin.

"Why don't you call me a mongrel if you want to imitate that man so badly?"

"So you know, hahaha."

Sullvian then fought with Archer for one or two rounds, but when they had enough information about each other, they stopped.

"You are really scary for someone who is not a servant. Are you perhaps in possession of true magic?"

Archer tried to find as much information as he could.

Sullivan didn't answer, as he didn't know if magic from Harry Potter's world could be considered as true magic or not. He could only give a simple answer to his question.

"I will not answer you any questions, but as a thank you for agreeing to play with me, I'll tell you something about myself."

Sullivan stopped channeling his magic and changed the surrounding area back to the way it was before.

"I'm not a magus. That's all I can tell you."

Archer looked at Sullivan, who was still smirking. He couldn't help but want to punch his face.

"So this is the feeling of my enemy who faced me in the past."

"I am not as good as you, though. Oh, I have something I need to do now. Please send my regards to your master. I might visit her after this, as she was the owner of this city."

Sullivan said that, then he apparate away. Archer tried to feel him, but he couldn't feel him anywhere.

"So mysterious. I should tell Rin to stop messing with them. But I think it was already too late."

Archer sighed. He had to tell Rin that a formidable enemy had appeared. but he could also potentially be her ally too, As he didn't seem to have any intention to participate in the fifth holy grail war.

Archer pondered the possibility of Rin forming an alliance with Sullivan, considering his potential as a powerful ally. He could be her trump card if she had to fight with Gilgamesh.

Archer rated Sullivan's power to be on par with that of the king of heroes.

Sullivan possessed an immense arsenal of weapons and had proven himself to be a skilled fighter even though he lacked experience, but that can change easily.

If Rin could convince him to join forces, they would have a fighting chance against Gilgamesh's overwhelming power.

However, Archer also knew that Sullivan was unpredictable and had his own agenda, making their potential alliance a risky proposition.

"I need to observe him more. But now that he knows about me, I think I don't need to hide anymore."

Archer smirked. He really wanted to know how Sullivan would do if he observed him and the little girl openly. He would not be a peeper if he openly observed them. Right?
