Chapter 24 Coincidence?

Sullivan now was in deep thought. What he had learnt from Jean made him feel nervous. He felt that something big was going to happen in the future.

And why did he think like that?

That was because everything happens for a reason. He being invited to the mysterious chat group was one of them. And then He met Jean who had a problem controlling her power

But coincidentally with his power getting from Hermione through the chat group. He could help her with that problem. Then because she wanted his help so He got the knowledge about Mutants from her as a payment somehow.

It was like he had been warn about the danger by some unknown force

'Could it be a coincidence? I think not!'

Mutants must be a key point of everything that was going to happen.

If their number was in just one or two digits then he wasn't that concerned but to have someone with supernatural power in four digits. He could see a huge headache coming like a storm in the future.

'Is it my luck doing it again. I got invited to the chat group because I may have encountered a calamity level disaster in the future but I am just a sloth who lazes around. How could I survive in the future when war breaks out between humans and mutants'

Sullivan let out his thoughts in a low voice.

"There will be war…absolutely"

Jean heard what Sullivan muttered. She couldn't help but ask

"War…Why is that"

"You should learn more about human's history, Red. Because humans are afraid of the unknown, not only that they are greedy and selfish."

"You speak like you are not a human"

"Human? I already reject my humanity and become sloth long time ago"

"Sloth…Are you being serious with me…"

Sullivan laughed at Jean. She was too serious for her own good.

The two then speak with each other a bit. Jean now seems have to catch his personality. He was an easy going person if she didn't annoy him.

"Well, I have told you almost all of my secrets. Now It is your turn to tell me how could you control my power"

Jean asked with her nonchalant face but deep down inside. She was very nervous.

"I didn't control it. I just made it stop"

"Can you teach me"

"Umm I need to ask my teacher for permission wait a sec"

Sullivan then sent a text to Hermione asking if he could teach magic.

He needs to wait a little. Hermione now was working in her office

Sullivan: Hermione. Is it alright, If I want to teach someone magic.

Hermione: You want to teach someone magic?

Sullivan: Yeah and I have something to tell you. It is really important

Sullivan then explained everything to Hermione who seemed curious about who Sullivan wanted to teach magic.

She didn't think that Sullivan's world was going to face the same problem as her world but on a far larger scale.

Hermione: Well I think you could not teach her. If her core was blocked you need to unblock it first.

Sullivan: But If I unblocked it. I will be burned to death.

Hermione: You could use Flame freezing charm though. I didn't write about it because It was an advanced spell. I did not know if you could use it at that time without a wand but from my knowledge of you. I think you can use it.

Hermione then wrote about the Flame-freezing charm in the note.

The Flame-Freezing Charm was a charm that altered the effects of fire such that instead of burning, it gave off a pleasant sensation, such as a warm summer breeze or a gentle tickling sensation.

Sullivan immediately learned it. Now he was almost immune to all of the fire but he didn't know if it worked with magical fire or not.

He asked Hermione again

Hermione answered him that She had used it to defend against the fiendfyre the death eater used to burn down the Ministry of Magic building to the ground before and it's work but she needed to use much more magic in order to counter it than a normal fire.

Getting confirmed from Hermione assuring him but he still wanted to pla-ahem test it by himself.

"Flamma Congelatio"

Sullivan tried the spell before. There was an icy blue aura covering his body. He then went to the kitchen to use fire from the stove.

Jean and Luna looked at him curiously. They followed him into the kitchen and saw him lit himself into flame.

"Sullivan!!!/Sol!!!"

Luna didn't see that coming. Jean too they were shock and tried to extinguish the flame

Jean had to use her power and then the flame went out. Only Sullivan remained unharmed. Even his clothes were fine too.

"Well, That felt good like a morning sun light in a cold winter"
