Chapter 229 They’re fucked up now [Edited]

Hermione was now enjoying herself to the fullest. They wanted to pass a parade on to Team RPWBY. But they forgot about just one thing.

The white fangs and the horde of grimm wouldn't pay attention to anyone, and they would focus only on dealing with them. And if they thought to use Ruby's innocence to help them, They can forget about it because Ruby and the others wouldn't see them or grimm.

They were separate from the students from the start.

She had tortured Cinder and her lackeys until they gave up resisting and tried a new way of surviving.

She already knew that their plan was compromised.

So she wanted to know why she didn't kill them right now. What does she want to achieve by doing this?

After the shout. All of the grimm and white fangs stop attacking. They then disappeared like they never existed before.

Then everything broke apart now they were inside a jail.

Outside the jail was the instructor who made them go through hell.

"What I want is not for you to know or for your mistress to find out."

Cinder gritted her teeth. She knew about her mistress, which meant she was on the side of Ozpin.

The woman looked at her with a smirk before she spoke, like she knew what her thoughts were about.

"Look at your expression. You thought I was on the same side as the immortal wizard. Sorry, but no. I don't need to join anyone to stand on equal ground with them. In fact, I am standing above them."

The woman wasn't joking about being above them all. She knew it just by sensing her power. Cinder could feel the energy emanating from her, and it was unlike anything she had ever encountered before. It was clear that this woman was stronger than even her mistress.

'So it wasn't just him that could be a threat to her life.'

Cinder realized that this woman was a force to be reckoned with and that she needed to tread carefully around her. She wondered what kind of power this woman possessed and what she really wanted from her.

"You said you are not on the same side as Ozpin. But why did someone like you become the professor in his academy?"

Cinder couldn't help but ask the question she wanted to know the most. It might be a question that could help them out of this situation.

She tried to use her magic but failed. Somehow she couldn't access her magic anymore.

If she told her that she was not on the same side of Ozpin. Why did she become the professor in his academy?

Hearing that the woman thought a little bit then answered.

"This question I can answer for you. It might sound weird. I came here and became a professor because my little brother wants to make some friends."

Emerald and Mercury looked at both of them in confusion. They didn't know much about what they were talking about but there's only one thing they knew.
