Austin sat inside his dorm room and was looking at the list of classes he could choose from.
Austin had waited till now to make his choice because this was an important choice, he didn't want to regret it later in the future.

Austin had previously crossed out Fiend-God Warrior from the list, it mainly focused on the body, which wasn't his cup of tea.
Although a strong body was good, it wouldn't mean much in the marvel cinematic universe.
Austin decided to go with Astral Sorcerer for many reasons, one, he didn't want to choose lightning Monarch and become another version of Thor, two, being an illusionist didn't suit his taste, and three, having the power of celestial bodies (stars) caught his attention deeply.
"system, I choose the Astral Sorcerer class," Austin said before releasing a sigh, the choice of his class had been putting a lot of stress on him, and his decision would heavily impact his future.

the system's robotic voice was heard in Austin's mind.
Austin felt a wave of dizziness hit him before he blanked out, he opened his eyes for a while and widened them in shock at the view around him.
he was in an endless space, stars and galaxies could be seen in the distance, the stars were so close yet so far at the same time, he could almost grasp them within his hands.
"system, where am I," Austin said, but he got no reply from the system.
"is this part of the class Advancing thing?" he was greatly confused, Austin could do nothing but wander around and float aimlessly in this endless space of stars and galaxies.
a gleaming star of light could be seen traveling at the speed of light as it shot toward Austin, entering his body through the area between his brows.
Austin appeared back in his dorm room and slouched down next to the bed, he was still dizzy and couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
while he tried to stabilize his breathing, Austin felt a strange form of energy enter his body and soothe his mind of his dizziness.
"System what is this energy" Austin decided to ask the system, this strange energy was way more profound than mana, in a sense that it seemed to not only embody life but had the power to create life.

this is the energy unique to your Astral Sorcerer class, the host should try channeling this energy into his body first]
the system replied robotically.
Austin followed the system's words and sat down in a meditative position, he already had contact with the bizarre energy so he could immediately draw onto its power.
high up in the sky, although it was bright outside the stars still existed.
A wave of Astral energy was sent towards Austin's small dorm room, illuminating his whole being as he floated 5 centimeters above the ground.
Austin channeled the astral energy through his veins and then towards his body, he had a clear view of the acupoints in his body and used the energy to travel through his body.
After doing this for a while, Austin's body shook lightly as his eyes flew open with a gleaming light.
while his floating body slowly landed back onto the ground, Austin looked at his hands in shock, he could now control this strange energy as if it was mana.
"system, show me my status screen," Austin said hastily, he felt as if a change had transpired.

Looking at his status, the first thing Austin noticed was that he had gained his class now and it was listed in his status, but another category caught his eye.
[Abilities]: Star Gate
seemed to be different from the "skills" since it was listed in a different category.
"system, what are abilities? aren't they just skills?" Austin asked the system skeptically.
[Ding!
Abilities are skills unique to your class, meaning they can't be found anywhere else, including inside the dungeon] the system replied robotically before a holographic screen appeared in Infront of Austin!
[Star gate: Using the power of the stars, you can create a stargate that can take you anywhere in the world or even the universe, you just have to imagine where you want to go]
Austin looked at the description of this ability in shock, this skill was similar to doctor stranger and the Ancient One's teleportation skill, except Austin could travel to anywhere in the universe.
he could go to Asgard, alien planets, you name it.
"What a broken ability," Austin thought, but even so he knew there would be a nerf for such an ability and he would find out about it soon.
"system, do I only get 1 class skill? shouldn't there be more" Austin asked in confusion, this couldn't be the only ability he gained right?

if the host wants to unlock more astral Sorcerer abilities, Increase your star rank by absorbing energy from the stars, each star rank increase grants you one unique ability] the system replied robotically.
" so it's like that huh" Austin released a sigh of relief upon hearing that, there would be more broken abilities to gain in the future.
Austin then sat up and wanted to test out his Star gate ability, he wasn't planning on going anywhere too far like the moon, he just wanted to see the drawback that the ability had, or if it even had a drawback.
