12 Thank you and Addressing trolls

WOAH… I was not expecting the instant traction.

I left to finish some writing supplements for college and I just opened the app… Thank you so much for the help, the constructive criticism and encouragement.

However, I would like to address some people.

Someone left a review that said "Meh, it's becoming to system cultivation and the system similar to the slime anime system ruined everything" and left two stars.

My reaction to this:???????

Is system cultivation in the room with us right now?? 1. There is no system or even cultivation? 2. Really, that's your constructive criticism? The power system which you have absolute no idea about, the same power system that was barely addressed for the first time, literally this morning???

Also what similarity to the slime anime system??? There is much more similarity to between the fanfic and Lord of Mysteries. Like the world engine thing was just a cool way to bestow powers. It literally has no other meaning except maybe a minor arc that has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING right now.

Plus, atleast have the decency to say why don't you do this instead? Like what part of constructive criticism was not understood?

In addition, someone said"ohhh, he needs to save the multiverse. He should be putting his all into the laps and not worry about one kid."

Now I will cut this person some slack because they actually had constructive criticism in OTHER comments they made regarding character design and they gave me some tips as well. So thank you for that.

HOWEVER, for the first comment. It's one run… Why in the hell would you sacrifice a potential strong ally over a run that you could complete any time of the day and get the same benefits for due to your abilities???? That makes no sense, getting first in an 11 mile run is not going to save the multiverse.

This is not a flash comic.

Why would anyone with half a brain stir up some random hatred in someone they know to be petty and vindictive and self-entitled FOR NO REASON.

ESPECIALLY, when that person will prove to be the biggest pain in their neck as long as they are the Iron fist.

Not everything is all pain and perseverance through training and blitzing through common sense.

Those are red flags that get you jumped not only in real life but in nonfiction as well.

No. The main character is setting himself to be someone that Davos actually likes. Someone that Davos can concede and be like this person is more worthy than me for this.

THIS ISNT COMIC DAVOS OR EVEN MCU DAVOS, this is an 8 year old kid who wants his father's approval and never got it. This is someone who CAN CHANGE, nothing is solid yet.

That unrelenting inferiority complex, the deep-rooted feeling of Daniel always being favorite will BE GONE, all with some healthy concessions that DON'T MATTER.

I quote from the original comics, "When Davos was a child he knew his destiny was great. He didn't understand why no one else recognized his potential. Not the Yu-Ti. Not the Thunderer, his own father. At every turn he's been held back. Is it a wonder he has a problem with authority? He takes what little they have to offer. These insect. These ants. He rips their life force from their bodies and heals his wounds. Flesh bubbles closed. Blood coagulates. Bones fuse. He takes it all so that he may stand while they fall. If he had enough of it, the Chi of Shou-Lao... could he heal his heart, too? And if he was simply given the love he needed in the first place... but K'un-Lun was never a place for love. All it offered was fire and blood. "

This is what Danny Rand stated about Davos when his fellow teammates were vilifying him.

These characters are deeply complex man and I'm trying to make it stay that way.

This isn't a wish fulfillment fanfic that an main character goes into seclusion, gains random universe-ending abilities and saves the day.

NO, this is akin to taking a girl out.

Y'all have to wine and dine and give so much…until guess what? It still don't work out sometimes.

But that's what character development is. That's what this story is supposed to be.

Characters aren't one dimensional douchebags that are going to run on your pre-conceived notions of who YOU think THEY are supposed to be.

Hell, my representations are going to be wrong and I'm gonna bashed for it, which I will one hundred percent welcome as long as it makes sense.

Nevertheless, I do have to give the guy above some props due to him making some solid criticism regarding the main character's behavior/personality, which I hope he will respond to because I asked a question regarding it.

Don't get scared off by this people, I still want the guy above to keep reading.

BUTTTT, the first guy who was talking about the system cultivation stuff.

Get out.

Or stay and become a fan.

P.S I deleted his review and the same will happen to all trolling and non-constructive criticism reviews.

I made some instant noodles, im going to lay in my warm bed(with cold pillows of course), eat them, respond to the outrage that will probably be set off from this whole note, and then proceed to go to sleep because I have school tomorrow.

SEE YA SOON FOLKS!!!!
