Well… I actually didn't, everything including that scene, the Beyonder's intervention, and previous comments from the [unknown pov] about Alex are leading to the grand reveal. One person already figured out what that big reveal was, several chaps ago.

—*insert crying sounds* Why did you bring the Beyonder to bother our MC?*crying sounds intensify*

It felt right, considering how childish the Beyonder is, it just felt right.

— The tournament felt repetitive, why?

It was all part of the Beyonder's plan, he never intended to win, none of this minions were there to win. He made them to lose to such an extent, they were hardwired to overextend winning battles , why? Because why not, the Beyonder only wanted one thing, gaining Alex's attention, so as to push his grow by being the main focus of his desire.

What does Alex desire now? Well, he wants be strong enough to defeat him, because now he fears what would happen if The Beyonder came with the intention of killing his family.

Yep, soon in fact. Right now, I just finished the Hela arc, meaning, in about 5 arcs, Alex will find the answers to some questions.

Hela's arc, though fair warning, Alex is not the main focus during a decent portion of this arc. He's occupied thanks to… stuff. But, that that kept him.. busy, it's a reason that will push him to learn beyond what he knows, for the sake of improving himself.

The closest one? Knull.

—- is Thanos even relevant as of now?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha no. By the end of this this small tournament arc, both Alex and Thor could fold the mad Titan like a towel, so yeah, Thanos is a minor threat, one that either Thor or Alex will slap away.

—- Will the self recovery mode make an appearance again?

No, that was a curve ball for y'all not to figure out what his power truly is. Hehe, I'm evil.

—- How many chapters left?

No idea? Let's see, there's still eleven arcs left, so let's assume 10 chaps each, this of course only considering said arcs are 10 chaps each, now… that makes a total of 110 chaps, plus some transitioning chaps between arcs, that would make a total of 130 chaps at max.
