4 Chapter-004

Well, a lot of things happened yesterday.

After the introduction, the talk turned from taunting to fist fight.

In the beginning, it was Morgan using her words, but then after Artoria started taking jabs at her, it didn't stay the same.

It dwelled into them fully unleashing their noble phantasm at each other.

There was Rhongomyniad everywhere.

I had to enforce the room and decrease the output of their attacks substantially, which no doubt was noticed.

But since they were too busy fighting each other, they didn't have the time to talk to me about it.

In the end, they were throwing sand in each other's eyes and pulling hair.

Gone was their regal image.

What was in front of our eyes was just a catfight.

I and Scathach took a seat at a safe distance from their fight and watched the fight while eating popcorn and betting on who would win.

My bet was that Morgan would win and hers was that Artoria would win.

It ended in a tie.

After they were knocked out cold, I hauled them over to their rooms and changed their clothes since the ones they wore were on the brink of adding an r18 tag to the work.

I also left them a note explanation and told Cecil to watch over them and notify me if anything were to happen.

Then I wished Scathach night and went to sleep while using Fou as the pillow.

***

The next day I woke.

"*Yawn* Good Morning Cecil."

"Good Morning Master."

"What time is it?"

"4 am."

Then I got out of bed and tucked Fou in the bed sheet.

After stretching for a while I exited the room.

Walking down the hall I asked,

"Did those two cause any problem last night?"

"No master, they are still sleeping."

"Hmm…good, and Scathach?"

"She is in the bath."

"Well, good for her."

Saying that I got out of the castle and changed my clothes to swimming trunks and dived under the water.

Instead of bathing, I do this every morning.

The water is fresh, clear and cool.

It feels refreshing and is also a good warm-up.

So, how should I proceed?

Both of them are Royalty but I can imagine that Artoria is going to be easy to handle.

Morgan on the other hand is going to be trouble if I go by her lore.

Both of them called themselves ruler of the same place, and their pride won't allow them to lie so I can think maybe one of them was from another world.

Another world as in different history.

But King Arthur was a male, so maybe both of them are from different worlds.

Maybe this is the right answer.

But unless confirmed they are just theories.

But since both recognized each other, they could be from an alternate timeline where both of them won in different realities.

All I can do is ask.

I just have to present myself as I would to anyone from Clocktower and after observing their actions and temperament see it from there.

Well, let's first prepare a breakfast and use that dining hall instead.

I sure do hope that they are not stuck-up people.

A man can only hope.

***

I kept swimming for about half an hour, after which I was told by Cecil that Artoria had woken up and Morgan was showing signs of waking up.

I told Scathach to help Artoria because she would trust a woman more than a man, whom she would find a creep waiting to see her without clothes.

While they were bathing I went to the kitchen to prepare enough food to fill the dining table.

It is just for presentation, no way they could finish all the food.

Today's menu, everything.

***

It took me about an hour to prepare everything, between which Morgan also woke and had a bath.

Both sisters verbally abused each other the whole time, according to Scathach.

After preparing everything I teleported the dishes to the dining hall, and told Scathach to bring them both to the dining hall.

For the first time in forever, I was using this room.

When I was on my way to the Dining Hall I met them on the way at the door, coming from opposite directions.

They were wearing their clothes from yesterday.

"Greetings, Lady Le Fay, Lady Pendragon, Lady Scathach."

"Greetings, Mister Rothchilde."

They all replied.

Seeing me using a formal tone Scathach got my message and followed my lead.

After spending decades with her, we have reached a level of understanding where we can know what other is thinking by mere gesture.

After greetings, the door to the dining hall was opened by Cecil, and then we entered.

Seeing its sheer size, both of them were surprised, though kept it well hidden.

And I saw literal stars glistening in Artoria's eyes upon seeing the amount of food.

Even Scathach gave me a look to which I shrugged.

I will dazzle you with my elegance.

"Let's take a seat and eat.

We can discuss any queries while eating."

Which was met with nods.

I then walked up to the center of the circular portion and took a seat, while Scathach sat beside me.

And on the opposite side sat Artoria and Morgan.

Soon we started to eat.

After taking the first bite Artoria's whole demeanor shifted from dutiful to happy.

While Morgan's changed to pleasant.

"So how was your sleep?"

I asked, making small talk.

"It was pleasant. Thank You for asking.

And I would like to apologize for the…sight I presented yesterday."

Replied Artoria.

"Thank You for your efforts.

My night sleep was most pleasant."

Who was followed by Morgan's reply.

"So, you must have many questions and I will answer them to the best of my abilities, but before that, I would just like to ask I question from both of you, if you are okay with it?"

"Ask what you must." said Morgan.

"Ask without hesitance." Said Artoria.

"Yesterday, during our introductions, both of you said you were ruler of Camelot.." this caused them to frown.

"…and I have a theory that you both may be telling the truth.

Albeit of a different world."

"Pardon?" Said Morgan.

"What I mean to say is that you both might be from different worlds.

In one world, one from Lady Pendragon's world, she would have ruled Camelot.

While in the other it would have been Lady Le Fay.

This would explain why you would know each other but tell of different histories.

So, my question to you is can you both cross-reference your knowledge."

"Very well, this preposition is acceptable." Replied Morgan.

"It is fine by me." Said Artoria.

***

So both of them did as I suggested and my theory turned out to be true.

Sometimes, I am frightened by my own genius.

"So, this settles the question of our identities.

I remember the name of Queen of Land of Shadows but not yours."

Said Artoria.

"That might be because I am not a heroic spirit like you.

Think of me as a strong magus for simplifying purposes."

I replied.

"And your magecraft deals with Chaos and Order?" Asked Morgan.

Hearing this question, Artoria also became interested.

"Yes, in simple terms I can mold the world to my wish, cause it to halt or become erratic and implode on itself.

These are broad terms of my abilities.

It can do much more, but to understand other things you would have to observe yourself.

It will be much more fruitful."

I told them as precisely as possible.

"You, may I inquire you, for the reason I have been summoned by you, even though there is no grail war, and you are quite capable of dealing with any problem that arises, if you do not mind?"

Artoria asked while munching on her seventh plate, how much is she going to eat?

"I do not mind.

Well, let me begin by stating that I did not intend to summon, you both in particular.

I just merely started the summoning process.

The people and items summoned are purely random in occurrence."

I said while looking at both of them and seeing Fou getting comfortable in Scathach's lap.

Then I continued taking a glance at the new guest's faces.

"As for the purpose of summoning…

There is none."

This caused Artoria to momentarily halt her feasting ceremony, while Morgan gave me a look as if I were a lunatic.

"Let me elaborate.

In the basement of the workshop, there is a chest, which derives its functioning power from True Magic such as Heaven's Feel, and Kaleidoscope to summon people and items, particularly in the recent cases they turn out to be divine constructs or their equal."

"Divine constructs?" Asked Morgan incredulously.

"Yes, and I think you may be familiar with some of them, especially this one."

And as I said this, a lance materialized in my hand.

"Rhongomyniad!!" Spoke Artoria in a surprised tone, while Morgan just looked at it with a blank look.

"Yes, in the previous and first summon, I summoned Scathach along with other divine constructs.

Among them was this lance as well."

I said gesturing towards Scathach.

"He speaks the truth, I can vouch for him." She said curtly and firmly, shutting any room for arguments.

After contemplating her words, both of them started to put pieces in their head, while their hands moved in an elegant manner, eating.

For a while, there were only sounds of fork and spoon moving, and moments later Morgan was the first one to break the silence.

"So, what should we do now?"

And as I was waiting for this question to be asked, I wasted no time replying.

"I have a suggestion if you wish to hear."

"You may proceed." 2X

Said both of them in unison, and then glared at each other.

If looks could kill, that would be it.

*Cough*

*Cough*

Coughing slowly, I got their attention on me.

And when I had their attention I spoke.

"My suggestions are the same ones that I gave to Lady Scathach.

You can stay here, at this place.

I will provide you with every single necessity you require.

If you demand anything I will try to fulfill it to the best of my abilities.

If you don't feel good by just staying for free, then like Lady Scathach you can exchange it for your services.

In her case, Lady Scathach became my weapons trainer, along with runecraft."

They nodded in understanding.

"And another option is that you can stay here initially, and in time when you are equipped with information of the present era, you can make a decision later.

Whether you want to leave and start something else, or stay here and extend on the previous offer.

Nonetheless, I will suggest you take a week's time at least before making a decision.

Meanwhile, you can have access to the Library, in which both me and Lady Scathach have summarized the important events and deviations from both our previous world's history.

But seeing that you are from a different world, you might have something to add, please do tell.

What is your opinion?"

Hearing my words, they briefly nodded.

No doubt, mulling the words in their head, and then spoke.

"I wo-" 2X

"Sto-" 2X

"Stop copying me." 2X

"Let me do the talking, while you stuff yourself with food.

I am sure the reason your kingdom was in debt was because it could not handle the cost of feeding a pig like you."

Morgana used Venom.

Artoria suffered Critical Damage.

It was Super Effective.

"At least it was better than your kingdom.

Are you sure the reason you went mad was because of Faes, rather than waking up with your same filthy face?"

Arotria used counter.

What will Morgan do?

"We have the same face, you meathead."

Morgan used Counter.

Artoria fainted.

Scathach sent me an amused look.

'Well, so much for royalty.'

***

After their verbal abuse, things finally quieted down.

We just decided to throw away the formality, for which Scathach breathed a sigh of relief.

After the holy crusade Artoria committed on the food, we left for the tour.

This is a part that I liked because evidently, I like flaunting my things to strangers.

I also notified Cecil to stock up on food and change the amount of food monthly consumed to match that consumed in 3 years.

I seriously just pity her previous master, who instead of in grail war, would have died due to debt.

"This is the armory."

And as I pointed at the armory, I deposited the newly summoned weapons.

"Hmm…you were not spouting nonsense when you said about housing divine constructs."

Praised Morgan in her own unique way… I think.

"Well, there is your lance and your sword."

Said Scathach pointing at Excalibur and Rhongomyniad to Artoria.

Surprisingly, both of them hit off just during the tour.

Well good for them, Scathach needs some girl friends too.

As for Morgan, well she was…trying.

Yeah, that's the right word.

"Well, of course, why would I lie about that part."

I answered Morgan while Artoria was taken by Scathach to look at the items, and I took Morgan.

We coin-tossed and I lost.

"What is that thing?

Its looks do not match up to all the artifacts housed here."

Morgan asked pointing towards the Five Leaf Grimoire.

Walking up to the cabinet, I phased my hand through the protection guard and took out the said Grimoire.

Holding it for both of us to see, I said,

"This is a Five Leaf Colver Grimoire.

This houses swords that have varying abilities based on Anti-Magic.

Also, a bit of demonic energy is used in it to bring it to its present visage.

Basically, the abilities of swords are, sending magic back as if hit by a log.

Cutting Magic at a distance and absorbing it from its surroundings irrespective of its attribute. There are certain exceptions.

Third Sword possesses the ability to remove after effects of curses and such.

And lastly, a sword that allows selective cutting. Good when fighting in a team of mages."

By the time I finished speaking both Artoria and Scathach arrived, who pinched my butt and stood beside me.

Vengeance will be mine.

Morgan had a face as if in disbelief at seeing a thing which is basically her counter in such a filthy form.

I saw a certain glint in Artoria's eyes as if thinking of using these swords to beat a certain bitc- I mean witch.

While they were looking at me, I kept thinking of my revenge against Scathach taking a glance at her butt, to which she merely wiggled it instead, as if challenging me to try.

Woman, don't threaten me with a good time.

"Do these swords also work against your magic?"

Asked Artoria to which Morgan looked at her in horror, then at me to disprove of it.

"No..." Just by hearing it Morgan's complexion gained color while Artoria slightly pouted.

Huh, cute.

"…my magic is special so no, it can't even scratch it.

Its strength also depends upon the wielder itself.

But it still bridges the gap between power levels by a margin.

If this sword is wielded by an infant, while it won't be able to properly attack, it will still remain relatively unharmed by the barrages of Morgan's magecraft.

Put in a skilled wielder in the mix, and you have the nightmare of any magic user."

After hearing the end of the sentence, Artoria beamed like a sunflower during the prime of the day.

Then she looked at me and asked,

"Can I have it?"

"Sure."

"Really!?!"

"No."

Hearing this Morgan had a condescending smile on her face, while Scathach merely giggled.

Aww, she is so cute.

I wonder how she looked in her teenage years.

Guess we will never know.

;)

***

"And this is Library.

While it is big, it is still relatively new so this doesn't have many things.

But it contains the history of this world, which Scathach and I compiled so it will be very useful for you, so I recommend going through them in your free time."

"Thank you, I will be sure to go through them."

Said Artoria.

"I am grateful for your help."

Followed Morgan.

Then she walked to the section catalog of sorts that was improved by both me and Cecil.

"It restricts access to the Magecraft section."

Pointed out, Morgan.

"It says that because you are not registered by Cecil.

This contains the record of Magecraft of Diluc and mine knowledge of Runecraft which we had both exchanged between ourselves and kept in written form to access in the future."

Replied Scathach before I could.

The way she put it, took away all the options for Morgan to ask for access without sharing her magecraft lest she appears shameless.

Everyone saw through those words because Scathach put them this way with the intention of doing just that.

Seeing this Morgan, merely smiled at Scathach.

Good-natured one…I think.

Also, while I gave registration access to Cecil, after this she had no control over the Library.

"I would like to register for the access to the magecraft.

In return for it, I am willing to share my wind mystic code, also my fighting technique." Said Artoria with a sincere expression devoid of any malice.

"I would also like to register in exchange for my magecraft, I am especially looking forward to knowing about primordial runes."

Said Morgan with a straight face.

I could see while she had a dislike for Artoria, she was nowhere to the level of Artoria's Morgan in her nature.

She, while was somewhat haughty, and arrogant in the beginning, but it was expected seeing she was a queen.

After acknowledging that Scathach herself is vouching for my strength and status, she is treating everyone cordially.

The arguments between her and Artoria seem like one of the siblings who just always fight, nothing bad.

"Sure."

***

"And for the last and the most important place in the castle…"

'after toilet'

"…is workshop."

I said to them gesturing to them towards the magic tower.

Opening the door, I entered the place.

"This place houses, both mine and Diluc's workshop, and at the basement lies the place where you were summoned."

Said Scathach.

Seriously, we seem like two real estate agents selling a property to a couple.

I am just missing corrective glasses.

"If you want your own workshop, do tell me.

It would be guarded by Cecil, but just that.

She will tell you if someone tries to enter your workshop, and you can decide whether to let them or not.

Both of us do use it privately."

I said to Morgan, knowing that Artoria isn't your textbook Magus.

She is more of a magic Swordsman type.

Morgan contemplated my words while we walked around the main hall of the workshop and common room.

"I will take you up on that offer."

She said after a while.

"You won't be disappointed."

She then simply nodded.

Then after several minutes of showing around, Morgan asked a question.

"I you will not mind replying, I would like to ask what subject you study in your workshop?"

Hearing this Artoria's eyes narrowed and she said before I could.

"I am not a Magus, but even I know that it is an intrusive question."

"I am merely asking, it is up to him to answer.

Do not intervene.

Go play with pigs or something." Morgan insulted Artoria.

"I am not in the mood to play with you right now, when I am, I will seek you." Replied Artoria.

That's a lot of damage.

"Here, take the ice." Said Scathach.

"Why?" Said a fuming Morgan diverting her eyes from Artoria who looked as if she won a battle of the century.

"Because you just got burned." Replied Scathach with a quirk on her lips.

That's my girl.

"Hehe." Laughed Artoria with a condescending look.

She doesn't look like someone to do this, but I guess Morgan pushed her buttons in certain ways.

"Shut up, you swollen-butted woman."

Morgan said trying to trash talk.

'Huh, cute.'

"Huh, cute." Said Artoria.

"You YOU!!!"

And then they both moved at each other.

Then I shared a look with Scathach, and understanding glint in my eyes, she sent after them the Legendary…

FOU!!!

"Fou fou FOUU!!"

"Fou use tackle."

Shouted Scathach.

Then he collided with them both who got knocked out.

"It was super effective.

Morgan and Artoria fainted."

I could not help but say.

***

"So, before your glorious battle, you asked me about my research, right?

I would not be displeased to answer."

I replied to a disheveled Morgan who was tidying herself, while I used magic to do the same for Artoria, who nodded thankfully.

"Yes, I just want to satiate my curiosity, what a magician who claims to be the manifestation of Order and Chaos, studies."

"No, worries.

Starting off, while I am the manifestation of Order and Chaos, my knowledge ends right there.

I know everything related to them, so as for other magic, I have to study them."

I said before explaining my research topic, which wasn't anything groundbreaking.

It's just that the journey would lead me to develop an understanding of space and time.

"I studying about multiversal travel while trying to imitate the second true magic in the process."

"So, you vying for other true magic as well?" Asked Morgan with an expression of respect and intrigue.

Even Artoria looked impressed.

However, she might be focusing on the multiversal travel part instead.

"Yes, since I have a path to achieve, so why not?" I replied to them while taking Fou from Scathach's arm, who merely pouted in response.

"That is a good mindset to have, but how are you going to achieve it?"

Listening to Morgan's questions was refreshing.

While Scathach was a brilliant warrior and runesmith, she was not one would call a proper Magus.

In simple words, while Morgan is a scientist who asks why and develops new things, Scathach is a developer who makes things with items available to her.

I do wish they both stay.

That way Scathach can get a fellow warrior as a friend in Artoria, and I can get a fellow researcher to work on theories and projects in Morgan.

"Well, this world has something along the lines of consolidation of elements which make the world in the form of stones...

They are called infinity stones.

They include Time Stone, Soul Stone, Space Stone, Reality Stone, Power Stone, and Mind Stone.

I possess Time Stone, Space Stone, Reality Stone, and Mind Stone.

Soul Stone is possessed by a sorcerer who is weaker than you but may be trickier.

He is a protector of sorts so I let him keep the Soul Stone."

"You mean to say, you ditch your job of keeping order and letting someone else handle it in your place." Interrupted Scathach while I was talking, snickering.

For this Artoria gave me a judging look while Morgan merely smiled mischievously.

"Well, someone has to, so it better be an old man than a young man like me instead." I said defending myself.

"Anyways, where was I?

Yes, so I am using space stone to detect parallel universes as a first step.

When this part of the plan succeeds I will use time stone to decide the time when we step into a particular universe.

Sort of Like using Kaleidoscope and Blue in tandem."

"Well…this is a very…ambitious project.

I hope you will ask me for help when you need it."

Morgan proposed.

"So you will be staying?" Asked Scathach.

"Yes, seeing the facilities of this place, and the magnitude of the research being conducted here, I want to stay, if you are fine with it."

"We would love to." Replied Scathach for both of us.

"I am also willing to stay here if you are pleased with it.

Someone needs to keep an eye on her."

Artoria said pointing at Morgan.

"Say the truth, you just want to eat food." Morgan scoffed at her.

To which Artoria literally kicked her on the butt, causing Morgan to crash into the wall.

Then they again began fighting.

Getting tired of it, Scathach went up to them and held them by their ear twisted it.

"Ow, ow, ow!!" 2X

"Say sorry." Said Scathach in a commanding tone.

"I am sorry!!!" 2X

"Huh, if this was a prison, then you would be my b*tches."
