6 CHAPTER 006

"How long have you been watching?" The Ghost Rider asked as he halted infront of Umbra.

"Well, I don't know exactly. What I do know is that you have a nice video over here." The Hero of Olympus said as he tapped his professional filming set up.

"Why don't you have a seat first since I know that you're about to change back soon." Umbra followed as he finished his food

"What do you want from me?" Zarathos asked as he took up the offered seat

"Are you still compelled by Mephisto or are you free?" The Hero of Olympus asked as he stared at the Ghost Rider straight in the eyes without any fear

"The newest host that I have is capable enough to break free from Mephisto's direct control. Unlike my previous incarnation here on Earth, he was the only one that can be truly considered as free." Zarathos said as he relaxed his body

"I don't need you Zarathos. What I want is Johny Blaze. While you are indeed strong, I know that you can't maintain taking control of that body." Umbra pointed out as he can visibly see the flames surrounding the Ghost Rider bagan to dim

"You truly are knowledgeable about Spirits of Vengeance. I don't care what happens to this Johny Blaze, however what I do care about is that bastard Dark Heart. Although Mephisto ordered me to hinder him, I don't do it because I was said so. I do it because I want to." The Rider explained as he took the water jug held it while watching the desert slowly get blanketed by light

"Hey Olympian. I have a favor to ask you. Help this human against Black Heart while I am recovering. Don't let him die and you have a favor from me. Maybe I can atone my sins if this man would live and kill that Black Heart." The Spirit of Vengeance requested before the flames in his body began to recede.

"RAGGHHHH! IT BURNS!! IT F***NG BURNS! MY SKULL IS BURNING!" Johny Blaze shouted with agony as he felt a searing pain all over his body. Not only was he burning, he also feel that his body have numerous cuts.

"Stop flailing around. You might waste the water in your hands." Umbra said as he looked at the agonizing man

"Argh! Who?! Who are you?!" The Stuntdriver asked as he finally noticed that he have water in hand.

He began drinking the water as if his life depended upon it. He was so focused that he didn't notice the sudden appearance of a Pick Up Truck.

"My name is Umbra. Let's just say that I am one of the few people that you can trust right now. As of right now, you are considered a terrorist." The Hero of Olympus said as he carried the motorcycle to the back of the pick up truck

"WHAT?! How the hell did I suddenly became a terrorist overnight?" Johny asked with urgency

"Well... my statement is a little wrong. Your other persona is wanted by the government. You see, you caused some substantial damage to the city." Umbra said as he pulled up his tablet and showed the news which showed the result of last night's battle.

Johny Blaze immediately snatched the tablet from the hand of Umbra and began swiping left and right.

"Hey, wanna see what you did earlier." Umbra offered as he connected his camera straight to a laptop that he summoned from [AVALON]

"You know what, I am going to show it to you later. We need to send you to hospital first of you might bleed to death." The Hero of Olympus said as he noticed the various cuts that he suffered. While his body may change when he transform to his Ghost Rider form, some of the damage sustained in that form may pass through to his normal body.

The stunt driver was unable to refute to Umbra since he was feeling light headed. He can only follow whatever Umbra was saying since he feels as if his world is in a literal pain. He can just hope that he can really trust Umbra.

*Hey Umbra, where are we headed next?* The Symbiote asked as she was currently at eating a chocolate bar

"Johny Blaze can stay in hospital for a while." Umbra said as he was driving back to the house of Carter Slade. "I will need to check up on old man Carter since he may be attacked by Black Heart yesterday while I was watching the battle"

*If you have the feeling that he might get attacked, why in the world did you stay there and watch the fight? Isn't it more important to defeat that Black Heart.* Sylvie questioned as the deicision making of Umbra last night

"Well, I know that old man Carter will be able to survive since Black Heart wouldn't kill him since he's the only one who knows where the contract is hidden." Umbra said while raising on of his fingers. "Secondly, I am not confident enough that Ghost Rider would survive the battle. I mean he only gained that power a couple of days ago. There's no way I would be 100% sure that he'll survive fighting a Fallen Angel that was well versed in battle." He finished which left the Symbiote pondering

Driving back to the home of Carter Slade took a while but the damage that it sustained can be seen from far a way. The whole house was in tatters with a multitude of graves dug up. There were signs of fight since there are signs of burning, which Umbra inferred.

At the middle of it was a passed out Carter Slade that has been beaten black and blue. There were signs of torture since most of his limbs were twisted and there fingernails littered in the ground.

This is what villains do in real life. They don't just say, oh you wouldn't say it let me come back to you in a later date. No. They would implement whatever means possible inorder to get what they desire.

Seeing the current situation of Carter, he had no choice but to bring him to the hospital even if the personells would be suspicious of the origin of the injuries.

So for the second time in the day, the Hero of Olympus became an ambulance again and delivered a wounded individual to the emergency room.

"Look here miss, I am totally not doing this intentionally." Umbra said politely to the news reporter that was interrogating him. "I mean I met the motecycle in the desert when I was headed to the city. As for the old man, I just saw him in the cemetery when I was visiting the grave of someone I know."

"I am so sorry that I am thuis rude." The female reporter sais as she calmed down. "It's just hearing that a close friend of mine was hospitalized while numerous individuals were put in danger yesterday really stressed me out. By the way, I am Roxanne Simpson, I am Johny's close friend."

*Oh wow! Johny really landed on a hottie. However too bad for him since I have a much beautiful wife.* The Hero of Olympus mused in his mind as he stared at Johny's love interest

"It is a little bit crazy in this city. However, I hope that it would return into normalcy soon." Umbra said as he sat down beside Carter Slade

Due to the sudden influx of injured people, the hospital has been busy since yesterday. Which is why many rooms were occupied so people sometimes share rooms if they don't have any disease that could spread. It just so happen that Johny Blaze and Carter Slade were assigned in the same room.
