CHAPTER 003

"Hey Carter. You've done a deal with the Devil. How does having a deal with a god sounds to you?" Umbra asked with a smile

"What does a god like you want with a deadman like me? And what can you even offer to me" The old Ghost Rider asked as he looked at the Hero of Olympus curiously.

"Whoa there Carter, I ain't no god. I am a Demi-God and what I can offer to you is revenge against Mephisto." The Hero of Olympus said as he looked at the dying Ghost Rider in the eyes

"How exactly would you do that? That guy is literally in Hell right now." The Ghost Rider asked with curiousity as he find the offer of the Demi-God to be interesting

"The deal is that I will be the one who would take your soul. I will send your currently damned soul to Olympus just like how warriors in Norse Mythology go to Valhalla." The Hero said while he start to write a contract.

"What part of your offer exactly entails taking revenge to Mephisto?" Carter asked as he pulled a bottle of Whisky

"That's where I fulfill the other end of the deal. Your payment for this deal would be your Spirit of Vengeance. I want you to transfer your Ghost Riders power to me before you die." Umra stated while taking the offered cup of Whisky

"I will then use that power to mess the plans of Mephisto. You and I know that a part of Mephisto roams this lands. So I am going to be sending that part of His to Hell, well more specifically to Hades. And boy would that part of Mephisto suffer under the hands of Pluto. I am sure that Pluto would love to have his hands on one of his rival Hell Lord even if it is just a fraction of Mephisto." Umbra followed up as he took a sip and finished the contract.

The old Ghost Hunter took the contract and looked at it before folding it like a parchment.

"Let me think about it. Making Deals with my soul as payment isn't exactly something that a human should make hasty decisions with....I learned that the hard way." The dying Ghost Rider said as he downed his whisky while looking to a certain direction

"That's fine by me, by the way how about we going to help this guy?" Umbra asked as he finished his cup and walked to the slumbering Johny Blaze

Carter and Umbra provided a decent first aid to the new Ghost Rider which clearly showed that both men were experienced in regards to a quick patching up.

As they finished extracting pieces of stones that were impaled lightly and applying stitches to the open wound. Umbra left the house of the Old Ghost Rider since he clearly needs some very specific paraphernalia if the Hero of Olympus is going to help Johny Blaze in his adventure

"Hey Sylvie, locate all the nearest Churches in Texas? After locating them, provide me a map to go there" The Hero of Olympus asked his Symbiote as he drove a black Yamaha R6.

*What would you exactly need in a Church?* The symbiote that is currently morphed in a motor racing suit and helmet asked as she provided a visual map in the Visor of the helmet which is similar to what Umbra specified as "Iron Man like" or whatever that means.

"Hehe, I am going to be trading today. Just trust in me with this one. I know that my beloved Noir can damage Demons but there is nothing wrong with having more weapons that are for Demon or Fallen Angel enemies." Umbra laughed as he thought of a way to have weapons capable of harming demons easily

So for a whole day, the Hero of Olympus begun raiding churches and taking chalices from all the Churches that he can reach. Nobody noticed any anomalies with their chalices the following days since our Hero is responsible enough to provide a perfect copy of each Chalice that he took.

The reason why Umbra took the effort to ride around the city to gather Chalices is to get Silver. But not just any silver, he put that much effort since what he need a [Blessed Silver]. Umbra have a literal tons of silver in [AVALON] that he could use to forge demon harming weapons however the Chalices are extra special.

The Chalices that he gathered on the other hand would provise extra punches than the regular silver that he have stored in [AVALON] due to one thing. All these Chalices has been used at least once in a Mass. Meaning that these chalices have been blessed multiple times already.

That blessings provide extra power to these Chalices which he can then use to slay some Fallen Angels and Demons. The Blessing is already ingrained to the metals of the Chalice so whatever reformation that Umbra would do to it would retain its blessing. So for example, if Umbra made a metal bat out of multiple chalices, he could beat evil entities into pulp using it or at least harm them.

"It looks like our Ghost Rider is getting busy tonight. Why don't we have a look at it Sylvie, so we can test these new weapons out." The Hero of Olympus said with a hint of excitement as sensed Demon Magic

He jumped back to his Yamaha R6 and rode off to the area where he sensed Evil. You see, this is not the first time that Umbra have to deal with demonic emtities. He already repelled a full blow Demon Invasion which made him familiar to Demonic Energies.

"Oh Wow. That Ghost Rider is really a menace to public property. Look how many windows he burned with his motorcycle. Looks cool though, not gonna lie." The Hero of Olympus Commented as he saw the Ghost Rider riding up a building. The Symbiote couldn't help but chuckle a little with his comment since she know that Umbra also does similar things to public properties during his fights.

"Nick Fury, ain't gonna be happy about that Johny boy. For sure the congress would be knocking on his doors again asking for questions as to why SHIELD isn't in here." The Hero mused as he started to head to where the Ghost Rider is fighting at.

As Umbra is speeding through the road, he saw the Ghost Rider getting flung so hard that he went through several buildings.

*Daaammmn, this is really getting out of hand. The movies didn't do justice to the Wind Fallen Angel. What was his name again, Aby...Aha! Abigor. I guess reality is way worse than movies. I mean that guy died with Johny circling his chains like a Gymnast twirling a ribbon.* Umbra thought as he looked up in the battle of Ghost Rider and Abigor

"Sylvie! It's time for us to dance." The Hero of Olympus said as he stopped his bike and pulled out his trusted weapon [Noir].

"Oh yeah, we can't forget about this." Umbra said as he remembered to get a bottle of liquid from [AVALON] and started pouring some of its contents in the tip of his weapon.

"Please put this somewhere inside the armor Sylvie. We already fought someone like this before and it proved to be a pain in our ass." The Hero of Olympus requested which resulted to the bottle getting absorbed into the armor that is Sylvie.

As the usual Battle Protocols of Sylvie and Umbra, Sylvie absorbed the [AVALON] and placed it in the back of Umbra.

The Hero the kneeled down before firing up his leg muscles and dashing at superhuman speed leaving a crater.

He ran a straight line headed to a crater that was formed by the Ghost Rider getting thrown from a high rise building. While on highspeeds, Umbra already noticed the approaching Abigor.

The Hero would then suddenly come to a full stop and gathering all the momentum gained from his running and redirecting it to his arms and throwing his weapon [Noir], which is actually a badass Halberd to the flying Abigor.

The heavy Halberd cut through the air like a bullet aimed at the chest of the Wind Fallen Angel.
