3 3. Time Travel

There were not many things that could surprise Jane Foster who has seen even the gods fight among which one was her boyfriend but today she again found herself fascinated and perplexed seeing the unscientific phenomena happening in front of her, after all, it's not every day that you see a truck floating midair. It seemed like today it just decided to defy the laws of gravity.

But it was just the beginning of what Jane would see because today the reality itself was twisting and bending as all common sense and logic failed to work. 

The kids they were following took them to the staircase where things seemed to go down, vanish, and then return from above going on a loop, well the things returning part was debatable.

Jane decided to look for herself as she took out her phasemeter and saw the readings which were too off the chart but were not too unfamiliar as these kinds of readings had shown once before. Her emotions were all over the place as the last time these readings appeared was when she met her boyfriend for the first time, the same boyfriend who never came to meet after that.

Jane went to the upper floor following the fluctuation in readings of the phase meter. As she was wondering about the past she felt a strong wind coming and her phase meter also went haywire she followed the wind as she reached an empty dark corridor. Suddenly the strong wind pushed her forward as she passed through a door that transported her to the same space where Mark had died earlier. She shouted her assistant's name once but when receiving no reply and considering the peculiar place she was in, she decided to explore the place herself.

Jane noticed a pool of red liquid on the floor which was moving on its own, as she stepped near it, the liquid jumped towards her and entered her body.

Mark opened his eyes but all he could see was red. "Is this hell?", he said but then quickly realized that this was not as there was no fire or any sign of the Devil present. This must be the Reality Stone, "Am I still alive or am I dead and my spirit trapped by Reality Stone?" Mark immediately began deducing about his current situation. He got the answer to his question quickly as he couldn't see his body but could still perceive his surroundings. 

Mark tried seeing outside of the stone and it worked as he saw Thor's face. "Why am I seeing him?" Mark continued observing as he could hear Thor speaking but then he noticed that there was also another person speaking aside from Thor. Mark could see 360 degrees as if he had a byakugan but he couldn't find another person, he came to an absurd conjecture that he was in reality stone and reality stone was inside another person most likely Jane Foster. 

"Ok, so I am inside Jane Foster. Nope, that phrasing is wrong, I am inside reality stone which is inside Jane Foster. So how do I escape it? my body most likely is already destroyed, can I use reality stone to recreate my body and then transfer my soul but that entirely depends on the premise that I can control reality stone." Mark then tried to control the reality stone but It didn't work.

"I can't control the Reality Stone but it seems like currently, Jane can to some extent influence the Reality Stone, I need to be patient and see if there is a way to escape, lets just wait and see how things proceed" Mark observed from the outside world from Jane's perspective and saw Thor taking her to Asgard through Bifrost. Things happened in the same way as they did in the movie with only one exception. 

Mark was just chilling in Jane's body but then he saw someone who was not supposed to be there. Mark saw a Racoon, who was wearing clothes and was walking on two legs while carrying a high-tech injection-looking device as it came behind Jane. 'What is Rocket doing here in Asgard, Oh I understand the events are occurring in chronology so it looks like I am directly going to the End Game then'.

Rocket extracted The reality stone as well as Mark who was entrapped in it and then ran with Asgard's forces chasing him, He found Thor and they both returned to the future.

"Wow, I traveled through Time And Relative Dimensions In Space, with all of this happening it feels as if I am in a nerd's wet dream. " while Mark was dwelling on his circumstances The Avengers were busy trying to bring back those who were lost in Infinity War. Mark witnessed as they created the Infinity glove using Iron Man's nanotechnology and then debated on who would be using it to bring everyone back as it was not easy to wield one Infinity Stone let alone six of them at once and who knows it better than Mark.

But amidst all this Mark's focus was not on the Avengers but on the changes happening to him because at this time He could control not only the Reality Stone but all six Infinity Stones and the realization of this control was not because of him exerting his will on the stone but it was an almost instinctive realization that he could control them.

Mark could feel power surging in him and his mind becoming clearer, He could now understand things that were beyond him just a moment ago. Mark's thought process was being accelerated to an extent that was not possible for even the so-called geniuses. And thus he began thinking about what was happening to him at the moment.

After a while of thinking He came to understand that He or better say his soul was being reinforced by the Infinity Stones. The Infinity Stones are the embodiment of the Laws of the Universe and they are at their optimal condition when all together working in a loop strengthening each other. At this time they were doing the same but they also were inadvertently providing energy to the soul encapsulated in the Reality Stone.

And with this realization, many more conjectures started coming to Mark. " The Soul Stone is strengthening my soul, The Mind Stone is enhancing my thinking capability, The space Stone is helping me feel the space surrounding me even if I don't have a body it still feels like I can interact with the tangible reality and The Power Stone is giving me this feeling of power as if I can even destroy Earth if I tried.

But why was I not able to control the Reality Stone earlier, maybe it was because my weak soul was not able to contend for the control of Reality Stone from Jane. Hmm, it seems that was the reason. Well, regardless I never thought that I would get the opportunity to escape the Reality Stone so soon. 

I think It is time for my return " declared Mark.
