3 Chapter Three(3)

These two could literally turn James into a God as with those powers he could do as he liked without any trouble but due to the existence of someone called the Living Tribunal. James rejected those options since he believed that if he used any of them, The Man would appear and maybe erase him from existence or something like that since they weren't part of this universe so James searched for an alternative either he used a plant or metal or just any resource he could find from the Marvel Universe. The result was two very distinct and very powerful materials, One of them called the Primagen, a powerful agent of evolution used by the Progenitors in the creation of the Kree.

The Kree in turn created the Terragen in their quest to recreate the Primagen crystal. Primagen according to the information, He had received from the dimension was the Primagen was a piece of creation solidified…. Well this was an exaggeration but the Progenitors are known for creating life across planets while the Celestials just go around doing as they liked. It is commonly believed that the Celestials seeded planets with life but unfortunately that wasn't true, they only went around trying to create life that was perfect and in the process always ended up creating a version of the Eternals and the Deviants of every race. Basically the Progenitors create the product and the Celestials come to add the finishing touches.

James believed that using the Primagen crystal, he would at least gain physical prowess on par with the Kree meaning he would be no different from a Super soldier at the very least. The second option was a crystal that grew in Svartalfheim aka the Home of the Dark Elves, the Dreamstone. The Dreamstone was a naturally occurring artefact in the realm and is able to manifest the desires of its users, basically a mini-reality stone. James didn't even know about its existence, he had only found it because he was thinking of rare materials in the Marvel universe alone and it was among the hundreds of materials that came out. The Dreamstone is basically able to manifest into your wish. Apparently it was rare in Svartalfheim which explained why Malekith hadn't used them to conquer the entire universe.

None of those mattered to James since he had these two rare materials in absolute abundance. The Primagen crystal, which honestly shouldn't be considered a crystal since it grew on a tree and needed to be peeled first, was also rare since only the Progenitors could create them and the Progenitors themselves were all extreme introverts. They refused to interfere with any part of life unless they were involved directly or found something of interest.

James picked up the alien fruit sitting by his bed side then immediately peeled its back off to reveal a crystal. The crystal felt weird in James' hand, it was somehow soft but yet strong and the information he had was that he needed to eat it. The most direct method of usage and so James did exactly as he was told as he threw the crystal whole into his mouth and bit down. Surprisingly the crystal actually cracked as he chewed, James didn't even want to think about this after all celestial objects aren't normal. James swallowed and immediately replaced his gag and laid down on the bed to get ready for any sort of life changing moments that may happen.

"Hmmm!!!" James screamed ready for the pain but even after several minutes, he felt nothing

"That's embarrassing" James thought as he removed the gag but still kept it ready in case the pain was just playing with him

As James waited, he felt certain things changing within him. He didn't feel any pain in fact he couldn't actually feel anything at the moment but he could easily detect the change within him. He knew this was definitely the Primagen crystal doing its job but James was still confused as to why the pain didn't come. After all, it was common comic logic that when you eat anything supernatural for your own benefit, you must scream in pain.

Hours passed when the strange event occurring within him finally stopped but he was already on to the next agenda and didn't even notice it. James was too busy trying to think of the best thing to make the Dreamstone turn into. He could make it manifest into a symbiote but then he would have to deal with making the symbiote immune to all its weaknesses or he could just make the Dreamstone turn into a cosmic cube. It would allow him to warp reality but then he would have to deal with it eventually becoming sentient.

"I'm sticking more to the cosmic cube but I can't be carrying around a…. Oh it's done" James said when he finally noticed the anomaly in him, stop.

James clearly didn't know what had changed in him but he knew one thing, whatever that changed in him had a massive effect on him. First, he didn't know the exact reason for this but he knew that he was more focused than before. It was reasonable to attribute this to the Primagen's effect because he knew himself. In his two lives, James had never felt this focused on something, as Eddie Morra had put it. For the first time in two lives, he knew what he wanted to do and how to get it, he wanted power and previously he was struggling to come up with a good way to become powerful with the 'limited' resources he had but now, his mind was just coming up with multiple ideas and the cosmic cube happened to be one of them

Earlier he just thought to materialise some sort of Symbiote that's like the Ironman Armour Model 50 aka the Endo-sym armour but at the moment, he realized that this thing could turn to literally anything he wants. He could turn it into some sort of suit that would give him omnipotent powers but the problem was that he couldn't be so vague since both he and Dreamstone didn't know what that was. James settled for something he was extremely familiar with the Cosmic cube, in his past life, James was one of those obsessed with Overpowered MCs and Items so the Cosmic cube had been an item he had read about multiple times.

"Wait I can just create a ring like the Cosmic ring" James thought

Cosmic cubes are extremely powerful artefacts that harness the powers of the Beyonders that are collected and stored using a matrix of force fields. It is believed that the Cosmic Cubes are illusionary in nature meaning that what they have done can be undone with an equally powerful item or being but some cosmic cubes work on a Multiversal scale and the cosmic ring was created using a fragment of a cosmic cube thus is limited in power but that isn't stopping James. His newly enhanced body came with an extremely powerful brain as his mind had already designed a suitable matrix that can hold the Beyonder's power.

James knew that Cosmic rings were powerful but were limited but he wasn't in a rush after all he already had sufficient protection for now and also he didn't think it was necessary to have such an overpowered weapon at a moment like the Cosmic ring.

"What the hell was I even thinking, I can do whatever the fuck I want" James suddenly thought when he remembered something important

The Living Tribunal is a being that watches over the entire Marvel Multiverse and carries the duty to maintain balance within the Multiverse but James had forgotten or even better said, ignored a certain thing. The Living Tribunal maintained a balance of mystical forces throughout the multiverse, the living tribunal didn't care about how you used your abilities or where you got them from. He just cared that there wasn't an imbalance of mystic forces in the universe and that you weren't a threat to the Multiverse as a whole, if you were a threat to your universe then that's your business but going up to the scale of the multiverse then he comes in. James didn't know how he had forgotten this important detail or even better yet how he had remembered it now but he knew it was all thanks to the Primagen crystal he had eaten.

"I should probably check out the limits of my newly evolved body" James thought as he dropped the Dreamstone into a container and closed it

James didn't exactly know what the Primagen crystal had changed in his body but he knew that he was a lot smarter than normal and could now even recall a lot of forgotten things, even those from his past life. James had no idea any other thing that had changed in him but he had a race to base his new abilities off of, The Kree. They were a race with strength, speed, agility and intellect that was greater than that of a human. Of course it would be better to base his new abilities off the Inhumans that the Kree but the Inhumans were created with Terragen crystals or mists which when compared to the Primagen is like comparing diamond to mud. They were leagues apart even though they did the same thing but it was to be expected after all the Primagen could be called the source material, the Prima Materia while the Terragen was a cheap imitation.

James carefully places the box containing the Dreamstone under his bed. He was no longer in a rush to become powerful after all with his realization, a lot of options were now open to him and he already knew what he wanted and exactly how to get it but before that, he wanted to master the abilities he now possessed before moving on to gaining more. James stood in the middle of the room as he took a deep breath to calm down, in doing this, James could finally feel the power he held.

Initially he had being too busy to even feel out the power coursing through his veins but after calming down, it became clear to him. It was at this moment that James realized that Movies or comics weren't lying when they depicted a smart character saying things like "I don't know how it was possible but I suddenly knew just how much power my body could produce, how much force each muscle could give and withstand…..". To the current James, those things also applied to him, obviously he didn't know exactly how much stronger he had gotten but he knew it was beyond what a normal nine(9) year old should produce.

He could see better, think faster, he felt stronger, faster and even more agile than before. Clearly the Primagen had evolved his body beyond what he expected, checking in the mirror, he still looked exactly the same as he did before. He didn't lose any baby fat nor did his appearance and height change in any way, it was as though the Primagen crystal had completely internalized all his changes.

To test exactly how strong he was, James proceeded to try and lift the bed up or at least a side of it. The bed itself was extremely heavy and when the bed frame was added into the mix then this thing should weigh at the very least 70 Kg. James placed his tiny hands by the edge of the bed and proceeded to try and lift it, obviously he couldn't lift it up entirely but he did lift it up a few inches off the ground.
