"What, you're the one that said it" I defended myself, I wasn't worried as to why she was able to read my mind because this was normal, it is basically impossible not to have undefended thoughts.
I call those Scattered thoughts and these thoughts were simply those random and spontaneous thoughts or better said images that just appear in your mind due to the influence of something you heard, saw or remembered at that moment. It was absolutely impossible to mask those thoughts, trust me, I have tried but it's impossible. They just float around and disappear in seconds and if they last any longer then, they become actual thoughts and you become able to mask them.
"Well I didn't mean it like that"
"You also didn't explain yourself"
"Oh please" She replied then rolled her eyes as she turned and left the office
"Goodbye to you too!" I shouted after her as I smiled and continued to finish up so I can leave
"You can come out now" I called out into the thin air and immediately the air suddenly fractured and slowly cracked open as the space in front of me opened up to reveal a man in weird monk clothing
"Always knew you were weird" the man said as he stepped out of the fractured portal-thingy, it was just weird.
The man was clearly of Asian descent, anyone could tell this with just a single glance but he looked ancient with beards and hair so grey they have turned white. His clothes just enhanced the entire thing he had going on thus making him look like some Badass anime old man.
"What do you want, Old Man?... And also how exactly did you manage that" I asked as I relaxed into my chair while watching him grab a chair and sit down.
"The Mirror dimension, your field can't stop an interdimensional breach" he said with a smug smile on his face
"Noted, I will work on that so what are you here for. I'm kinda off work now"
"I came here to ask for a favour"
"Oh hell no, the last time we met, I had to fight a couple of mindless ones then it was a rogue wizard, a Shaman with incredible Voodoo powers, Please Yao don't tell me something else is threatening our existence" I begged, It was as if this man was the messenger of the Apocalypse, wow this must be what the Umbrella academy feels whenever Five drops the news of an apocalypse
"No, not this time and I appreciate your will to fight to save our world"
"Well it is our world isn't it, destroy it then who the fuck am I ruling"
"True but this time, I came for something else"
"What is it"
"I came for you…" Yao said and suddenly the atmosphere around us became serious
"Hahahahaha... oh my god, that's good, Yao you really know how to joke but let me remind you that even if you gather your vishanti, they would lose and badly so… so be careful how you complete that sentence"
"That isn't what I am here for, at this point only an idiot would go against you in such a battle, I am here to ask you for something else"
"Oh… then what is it?"
"Your existence has messed up our timeline so much that the future can't even be viewed. Your power and decisions has affected so much that I am surprised the Almighty ones haven't destroyed us, I don't know what the future will bring so I am here to beg of you, Please guide our heroes in the right path so they don't fall into evil"
"So in essence, you have no idea if Strange would still come to Kamar-Taj because of the technological advancements right" I asked since that was the underlying message I could get from his speech.
If it was this then I understand what he means and why he came to ask me. Dr Strange is an incredibly important character in each Marvel Universe hence why each universe has a version of him or a fusion of him and another character but the end goal is, he is the only character in the entire multiverse that nearly 98% of himself, looks and behaves like him.... apart from America and I cause we are a singularity in the entire thing.
