2 Chapter 2

Trigger Warning!!!: Rape! You have been warned.

Jax had to admit, at least not all of the future heroes were complete fucking assholes. Peter, even though he wasn't Spiderman yet, was actually a pretty cool guy, and Jax couldn't figure out why Peter only had one friend before him. Oh, was it mentioned that that friend was Harry fucking Osborn, the future Green Goblin!

Jax has yet to meet Harry yet as he seems to be on some kind trip with his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, all on his father's dime.

The next couple of weeks went by just as you can imagine it did, Jax got the brakes whooped off of his ass! The administrator gave the three bully's detention, which subsequently made them, as the star players of the football team, to get benched from the game. Needless to say, they wanted someone to blame but themselves, and Jax was the prime suspect.

In hopes of not making his mother worry when she has so much on her plate, Jax rushes homes and hides in his room all day, even past dinner. He usually warmed the dinner up in the middle of the night and ate it, and left for school before his mother could see him every morning. Not surprisingly, Jax quickly grew tired of this, and began harboring deep hatred for his bully's.

Luckily for him, it was the weekend, and they had started beating his body instead of his face, so that they won't leave any obvious marks, but each beating they grew more and more vicious. But, since his face was finally bruise-free and it was the weekend, so he was hoping to finally spend some time with his mother, but the note of the fridge saying that she picked up an extra shift, killed those hopes.

With nothing else to do, Jax decided to go out and explore the city. He realized that God was probably an asshole and wouldn't let his find the Starter Pack or the Holocron just by hiding in the house. And so, Jax headed out in hopes of finding a gym where he can learn to defend himself. There was no telling when he would find either boon, and he didn't know if he could survive long enough to just sit and wait around.

Walking around the neighborhood, Jax could see that this area really was horrible, and was amazed that this city managed to live with no heroes around. But as he walked past a bar with it's door open, Jax froze, turning to slowly face the interior of the bar. There, just sitting at the bar, casually drinking. beer, was his father, Wolverine.

Jax didn't even know when it happened, but the next thing he knew, he was inside of the bar, standing behind the still drinking Wolverine.

"I don't know what you want, kid, but we both know that you're too young to be in a place like this." Logan said in a gruff voice.

"I wouldn't know, I never had my father there to teach me any better. It's just been me and my mom since I was born." Jax said with a hint of venom in his tone. This man had been missing for all of his life and had the nerve the lecture him!

"Sounds tragic. But, at least you still have a family. I lost mine when I was younger than you are. It was hard, but I made it. And I can hear the anger in your voice kid, but I said give up. The chances of you finding your father, especially in a city this big, is close to impossible." Logan said, taking large gulps from the bottle.

"Oh, I think it must be my lucky day then, because my father is sitting right in front of me!" Jax said with even more venom than before.

At this, the entire bar goes silent as all eyes turn to the father and son pair. Even Logan goes stiff for a few seconds, before he starts sniffing the air and then let's out a heavy sigh.

"How am I supposed to believe I'm some random kids father?" Logan asked, putting down his beer and finally turning around to face Jax. When Jax saw his face, Logan looked just like he thought, but somehow slightly different from Hugh Jackman.

"I think you can already smell that I'm your family. Plus, do you remember a woman by the name of Jada? That's my mother that you left alone with a baby!" Jax yelled, his body feeling hot as his temper flared.

Hearing the name Jada, Logan was genuinely surprised, as he had no idea that she was pregnant. "I-I had no idea she was pregnant... I loved your mother, honestly, but I just felt like she was better off without me holding her back." Logan said, looking at Jax in a whole new light, regret clear in his eyes. Logan watched the man he thought was his father, by his actual father just before he killed him with his claws, so Logan knew what it was like to grow up without a father.

"Better off? She's practically killed herself for 16 years working multiple jobs trying to take care of me on her own, and she was better off?! You know what? I always imagined what I would say and do if I ever saw you in person, but here you are and I'm speechless. I can't do this!" Jax said as he ran out of the bar.

"Kid, wait!" Logan called out, but Jax was already long gone.

Some time later, Jax stopped to catch his breath, tears slightly in his eyes from his erratic emotions. He didn't realize how far he ran, and came to the horrible realization that he had no idea where he was at. Looking at the street signs and other landmarks, Jax realized that he was on the near the outskirts of Midtown, and was pretty far from his house. Coupled with the fact that it was starting to get dark, he was clearly in a bad situation.

"Well, well, well, looks like a little decided to come play with us! What do you think, boys? Should we play with it for a little while?" said an all too familiar voice.

Not even bothering to turn around, Jax cursed his luck as he immediately started running as faster as he could down the street, accompanied by the cheers and jeers behind him. Not only was Jax out of shape, but he was already exhausted from running earlier, so it didn't take the gang that the three bullies were apart of to catch Jax and drag him into a dark alley.

"Help! Someone please help me!" Jax cried out to the many people who crowded the street, but all of them turned a blind eye. Even the cops who passed by, when they saw who the gang was, continued as if they didn't see anything. This was it. This was the moment that Jax lost all faith in humanity, as everyone just treated him like dust despite his desperate cries.

"Haha, you dumbass, We work for Wilson Fisk! There's no one out there that is going to help you! Now, let's play!" Eddie said as he held one of Jax's legs and tugged at his pants.

'Oh hell no! You can beat my ass, but not that!' Jax thought in a panic. Mustering all of his strength, Jax pulled his free leg back and delivered a super kick straight to Eddie's half unzipped groin, causing him to drop his leg.

Seeing as he wouldn't get another chance and didn't want to get raped, Jax scrambled to get up and run for his life, only to hear a loud smack and fall forward on his face as a great pain on his back. Thinking about the pain, Jax realized someone his his back with a metal bat. Then, the gang members reach him and start throwing kicks, and smacking his with bats and metal pipes, completely brutalizing him.

What felt like hours later Jax lay on a pile of garbage, clothes disheveled and his eyes glazed over with his head cracked open and blood pooled beneath him. Suddenly, his eyes cleared up as he began gasping, as if he had been under water. The pain all over his body hit him immediately as he let out a pained groan. The a searing hot sensation coursed through his body, as his injuries began healing at a rapid pace.

At the tip of each finger, deadly, Adamantium blades painfully sliced through the top of each finger, each blade growing to just over a foot long. Luckily, he instinctively moved his hands, or else he would've impaled himself a few times already. If Jax were to look at his claws in a mirror, they would somewhat remind him of Freddy Krueger's claws.

"Huh, I guess you really are my son. Well, congrats on being a mutant kid. It looks like it just saved your life." came a gruff voice to the side, but Jax was too busy dealing with the blinding pain to focus on them.

A few short moments later, the pain was gone. Not only that, but Jax had never felt better! He felt like an entirely new person, as he looked down a his disheveled figure and saw his body fat rapidly burning away, as well as all of his injuries mended.

'Did it finally activate? Seriously?! Those fuckers... did so much to me. Made me feel powerless. I'm almost certain they even killed me, and it took all of that just to kickstart my X gene?! That's it, those fuckers are going to die!' Jax thought to himself.

Though the searing pain was gone, Jax was still very sore and felt extremely groggy, but he still remembered that he heard a voice earlier. Looking over to his side, whatever happiness he felt from finally activating his X gene was washed away. Standing there over him with a solemn expression was his father, Logan.

Before Jax could get a chance to say anything, Logan spoke up first. "Before you say anything, if I knew that you were in trouble like this, I would've come to help you sooner. I know that you probably hate me for what happened, but I'm not lying when I say I would've never left Jade if I knew she were pregnant." Logan said, looking remorseful as he looked at Jax's condition.

Logan wanted to chase and kill whoever did this to his son, but he didn't want to leave Jax alone, and if a doctor saw him "raise from the dead" and heal himself, it would give him too much of the wrong attention. Mutants and other super powered people still weren't commonplace at this point. At this point, Tony Stark still hadn't been kidnapped and held in a cave yet.

"Who is Jade?! Do you not care about her enough that you couldn't even bother remembering her name?" Jax growled, his father's temper threatening to burst out.

Taking a deep breath to calm his anger from his son yelling at him, Logan answered. "I know your mom's name is Jada, kid. Jade is just what I called her since her favorite color was green and she was so precious to me. Look, I genuinely loved your mom... I didn't even catch your name." Logan said, realizing he didn't even know how to properly address his own son.

Surprised by Logan speaking so sentimentally about his mother and even remembering her favorite color, Jax forgot to be angry when he replied. "Jaxon, Jaxon Wolfe, but I go by Jax..." Jax replied absentmindedly, still surprised as he didn't remember Logan loving anyone this deeply besides Jean Grey.

This thought only made him realize other things that didn't quite add up from the movie, which made him come to one dreadful conclusion. 'I have absolutely no idea what universe this is, and I have no advantage of knowing what's coming next!' Jax thought in horror.

With no idea of his son's inner turmoil, Logan continued. "Jax, I like it. Your mother was always amazing at whatever she put her mind to. But, as I was saying, I was madly in love with your mother, but thanks to her being a genius and going to a fancy college, , I never felt worthy of her." Logan answered solemnly.

Thanks to his X genes activating, Jax could hear Logan's sincerity. A large part of him knew that Logan was telling the truth, as he already knew the history with Logan killing his own father. But, he still couldn't get over the 16 years of resentment and watching his mother struggle. Taking a deep breath, Jax knew that he would eventually have to forgive his father, it would just take a while.

"Well... it is, what it is I guess. Anyway, I need to get home, mom is probably worried about me." Jax said as he stood and dusted off and fixed his disheveled clothes, trying desperately not to think about what kind of fucked up mental scars he was going to have to deal with thanks to this situation. Without saying anything,he starts walking in the direction he assumes will take him home.

"C'mon kid, let me walk you home. I know you won't like it, but it's probably best we stay somewhat close for a little while. I'm not sure how it is for others, or if you have truly processed what is going on, but you are now something we call, a "Mutant". I don't know how it is for others, but for me and my brother, your uncle, the first few days after becoming mutants was rather rough." Logan warned as he walked next to Jax, feeling slightly awkward.

Jax wanted to refuse, as he had no idea how to explain how he found his father or why he looked so horrible to his mom, but he also didn't want to run into any unnecessary trouble. Sure, he finally unlocked his X gene and his Healing Factor, but he still had no idea how to fight and wasn't smart enough to come up with some master plan. And so, father and son awkwardly continued on their way to the rough part of Midtown, until they finally arrived at Jax's home.

When Logan saw the area his son and Love were forced to live because of his absence, he had a slight grimace and silently vowed to help them out somehow. But, as they got close to the front door and a familiar scent entered his nose, his heart began aching and complex emotions bombarded Logan repeatedly. It was his one true love, Jada.

Not wanting to find himself in an even more awkward situation, Logan was about to leave until he heard the front door slammed open and a beautiful silhouette entered the doorframe.

"Jaxon D. Wolfe, where the hell have you been?! I tried calling the cops, but they were useless. Oh my goodness, what happened to you baby?!" Jada yelled, but when she saw Jax's state, she ran over and started fawning over him, looking for any injuries, but finding none.

Due to his constant absence and her constantly at work, Jada assumed Jax was just being be a typical, emotional teenager and just wanted to be alone. If she had any idea that Jax was going through any trouble, because if she did, she would've raised hell a long time ago. Nobody hurts her baby.

Seeing the back of a tall, burly man standing not too far away, and connecting dots, Jada has already identified this man as an enemy who hurt her precious son.

'I'm not ready to reveal Jax to everything yet, since he seems to be fortunate, but I'll do anything to protect my son!' Jada thought as her eyes flashed in the night's light.

"Who the hell are you, and what have you done to my-" Jada yelled as she ran up to the strange man, grabbing his shoulder strongly and forcing him to face her, but when she saw his face, she froze.

"L-Logan?"
