"Hey Adam, have you seen David? He's been missing since last night. He said he was going out for dinner."

"You reckon the Daywalker got him?"

"Shhhh! Are you an idiot? His name is a taboo in here, if somebody hears you, we both are going to get kicked out?", the man wearing jeans and a checkered shirt spoke in a hushed tone.

The second man also lowered his voice as he turned around to see if anybody noticed him for his earlier slip-up, fortunately for him, nobody did. He turned back to the other man and said, "Sorry, I didn't know that. But still, what do you think?"

"I don't know, it might be a possibility. I heard some chatter from the higher-ups, they say his hunting area is increasing day by day. Who knows, he might have reached here by now."

"Why are you so nonchalant about it then? Aren't we in danger too?"

"Hahaha! You forgot who our master is?"

"No, I didn't. But what does that have to do with this? If we leave this bar, we die. What can he do then?"

"I heard some more news, our master is trying to capture the Daywalker and this bar is just a lure. The Daywalker only hunts us alone, do you think he can take on all of us together?"

"But can't he just wait for us outside? We still need to drink blood."

"Oh, I forgot you are new. We have reserved blood bags, and then again, he is one man, he can't stop the humans from coming in. And the guards outside are familiars and if he kills them, we can mobilize the police after him. Master Frost has everything planned, don't worry."

...

The next night, Marcus was back at his usual place, he perched up at the building opposite the bar, waiting for his prey to show up.

Unfortunately for him, he was oblivious to the misunderstanding he had created that caused the Vampires to start their Daywalker capture plan.

Marcus waited for a long time but nobody showed up outside the bar, "Are these guys really that much of a pussy? Like a single one goes missing and you tuck in your shell like a tortoise?"

Marcus could only sigh and return home empty-handed.

As for the Vamps, they were still unaware that the one who had gone missing wasn't due to the Daywalker but someone else, someone…even crueler.

...

Eric Brooks aka 'Blade' was interrogating a low-leveled Vampire to find out the location of another one of Frost's feeding bars.

He took out a silver dagger and stabbed it in the Vamp's palm causing him to emit a screech, "Ahhhhhh! Alr…Alright…I will tell you…But you have to let me go…"

"Tell me what I want to know and I will let you leave."

After getting the confirmation, the Vamp spat out everything he knew about the bar except for the ambush that was prepared for Blade. He thought that he was going to live and wanted to see Balde die for the pain he inflicted on him.

"Alright, you can go now."

Blade unbound the Vamp and stepped back away from the table. As soon as the bindings were opened, the Vamp took off at the highest speed he could muster with his injured body.

After the Vamp ran, a smirk appeared on Blade's stoic face.

Blade jumped up and climbed the roof of the nearby building instantly. His vampiric senses easily captured the figure of the Vampire he had released.

The Vamp was running towards the location he had told Blade about while hiding his body in the darkness as much as he could.

But that wasn't able to hide him from Blade.

Blade followed him from a distance and used his sense of smell and sight to track him down.

After a few minutes of tracking, Blade sensed that the target had stopped. He climbed atop a nearby building to check on his bait and saw that an Armored Figure was holding it by its neck.

A Few Minutes before…

Marcus was sitting atop the building at his regular place, it had been two days since he had been waiting for a Vamp to come out but unfortunately, not a single one did.

Marcus was about to give up tonight too, when his suit's camera caught a figure running towards the bar, the thermal imaging showed that it was a Vamp.

'Finally!'

Marcus jumped down directly on top of the Vamp, aiming to land on his body directly. But the Vamp could hear the sound of something falling and dodged hurriedly.

"You told me, I could leave-"

"What are you talking about?"

Marcus was a little confused by the Vamp's words but didn't waste any time. Tonight, he was in a hurry, so he just used his telekinesis to hold the Vamp down and grabbed him by his neck to slam him down on the ground.

As Marcus slammed the Vamp multiple times, cracks appeared on the concrete pavement underneath. And after a few minutes, the Vamp was unconscious.

Marcus was about to take the Vamp back to his base when his camera captured another figure atop the building nearby.

The thermal Imaging showed that it was also a Vamp.

'Looks like I will have more than one experimental subject tonight.'

Marcus left the completely unconscious Vamp there and leaped up to reach the building roof and confront the other Vamp.

He jumped atop the roof and his camera captured the figure more clearly, 'Wait! That's Blade.'

Blade was the first one to initiate the conversation, "Who are you and what do you want?"

Although Marcus felt a little hostility in Blade's voice, he replied calmly, "I am a Vampire Hunter and as for what I want, you can obviously guess it. I can see that you are a Vampire, so tell me, what do you want?"

Blade had to think for a while before answering, "I might be a Vampire but I am a Vampire Hunter too. My mother was bitten by a Vampire before I was born, so I got their powers but none of their weaknesses and now I hunt them down."

"So, our Interests align, that's a good thing. By the way, What is the reason for you coming here?"

"The bar you see right there is a Vampire feeding bar. It's run by a Vampire named Deacon Frost and I am here to destroy it."

"Oh, If that's the case, I would like to help you. You can call me Asura, and what about you, Daywalker?"

"You can call me Blade."

"Then what are we waiting for, let's go."

As the two Vamp Hunters were talking, the Vampirical regeneration did its work and the Vamp Marcus had subdued, woke up.

He saw that nobody was around him and made a run for the bar.

Blade and Marcus noticed this instantly and threw their Shurikens as the Vamp reached the entrance of the Bar.

The silver shurikens hit the Vamp's head, turning him into ashes, as soon as he had opened the door, which prompted the start of the battle.

Marcus told Balde that the two guards at the front were human familiars and it wasn't necessary to kill them here, instead, they were both knocked out and Blade and Marcus entered the Bar guns blazing.

As soon as they entered, a horde of Vampires jumped at them. Marcus took out a few cloves of garlic and crushed them right in front of the Vampires.

The obnoxious scent drove back the rushing vampires and made it the perfect opportunity for both the hunters to pick them off one by one.

Marcus took out all of his four silver swords, two in his hands and two floating beside him. And at that moment, he transformed into a true Asura.

As he moved through the crowd of Vampires his blades cut through their bodies easily, turning them to ashes, meanwhile, his Parallel Thought and telekinesis were used to control the other two swords which took care of any Vampires trying to attack him from behind.

Marcus' boots were fitted with special mechanisms which deployed the silver spikes in them whenever he kicked a Vampire.

On the other hand, Blade used his superior physique and skills to take out the Vampires with ease. He would use his handguns for ranged attacks while cutting down any vampire who dared to come close to him.

The massacre went on for a few minutes before the Vampires had enough and decided to escape the Demon Duo.

But Marcus wasn't going to let that happen, after experimenting on the first vampire he caught, he had created a special grenade that would work specifically on Vampires and would make them unconscious within seconds.

Marcus didn't have to worry for Blade as he didn't have any of the weaknesses a Vampire possessed.

He deployed the grenade before the Vampires could run away, making them fall down unconscious like bugs when a big spray was used.
