DAWN OF THE APES

After a long and exhausting discussion, the European Powers agreed to reverse the Partition of Africa, making many African lands independent. This treaty, what is now called the Treaty of London, stated that no foreign power shall step into Africa, otherwise, they will face the might of the Zimera.

Previously, the French government had refused the treaty, and attacked the Congo basin from the north, alas, their army was reportedly decimated and the entire French occupation of Africa was abolished in the span of one year by Zimera.

We do not yet know what threat this new species-civilization will bring to the world, we are now living in the reality where we are sharing space with another sentient species, the Simia Sapiens. Previously, the famous War of the apes against the Belgiums and the rumour of the British Empire allying with the Zimeran Kingdom have sparked political tensions between the European nations. The British Empire and the German Empire now have some rights to trade deals with Zimera, such as rubber, ores, and many more. It is also rumoured that the newly discovered metal that could withstand bullets, Vibranium, is not allowed to be distributed, although king Grodd remained doubtful if it should stay that way.

As for the African nations, many representatives had come to Zimera to be educated, so they could build an effective government to govern themselves, but the Zimeran representatives sternly said that they will not interfere with other problems except for military invasions from foreign nations.

A man with violet eyes was sitting calmly on a ship, reading a newspaper. This man was of course, Pluto

"Looks like Grodd did a thing." he murmured.

"What thing?" questioned a woman, Thena, walking towards him. The woman sat on his lap, and read the newspaper with him. "Oh, he freed Africa, good for him…"

"Well, not the entirety of Africa… but still, progress…" said Pluto.

Thena hummed. "I just think… We've been here for almost 7000 years now… but what? Outside of technologies and ideologies… nothing really changed, I could argue that it's worse…"

"Why?"

"People still kill each other unjustly… hatred blooms for no reason besides because of the colour of the skin and race… wars became more brutal… it's just…"

"I know…" hummed Pluto. "But I think we should learn right now, that as long as goodness exists, darkness follows after it."

"But in this state of the world, the darkness overshadows goodness," said Thena. "I've been called the Goddess of War, but… if the wars are like this, I don't want to be called that anymore…"

"This isn't like you…" said Pluto.

"Usually, I don't care." answered Thena solemnly. "But… we are planning to have a child, are we not?"

"So you're worried that the world will not be a better place once our child is born?"

Thena shook her head. "I'm more worried about what his reaction will be…"

"His?" Pluto questioned in amusement.

"I want a son." Thena shrugged. "We have too many daughters already."

Pluto chuckled. "True…" he said, before sighing. "But still… we've got a long way to go before we achieve that… I identified some ways… but I don't know if it'll fulfil what we want."

"I trust you." said Thena, kissing Pluto's cheek. "Take all the time you want…"

Pluto hummed, and stood up. He walked to the window of the ship he's in, admiring the cold sea outside. "Say… You said that you're disappointed in the humans… saying that nothing's changed… So do you think we should let the emergence happen?"

"Don't be a fool Pluto." Thena scoffed, walking to him. "I might say that I'm disappointed, but… I don't believe that humans deserved to be massacred just for a celestial. I'm just… tired… for all we did, they still haven't changed at all. It feels pointless teaching them… guiding them to the right path… they'll diverge themselves in the end."

"True…" Pluto hummed.
