CHAPTER 23:JOHNNY VS PETER

JOHNNY POV

Regret. Sadness. Those 2 are the feelings that I feel during these past days.

Every day I wake up I feel those feelings that I tried to lose by repairing my cars, playing video games and watching all the classic movies but they all just make me feel annoyed since they just make me remember more of my bestie, Peter Parker.

A name that becomes sacred and the one who caused my nephew to always send me a glare, even to their parent, Ben and others who wronged Peter.

Both of them are fans of that hero since Peter will always swing by telling his jokes, play with them and take them for a swing around the city which thrilled them a lot.

When I look at the mirror all I see is my messy appearance and the black eyes since I did not get enough sleep.

My best friend died but with nobody being found we all thought some lunatic crazy bastard take the dead body away which make us find his body to at least you know bury him.

But with how Sue said of how Peter's blood is in the room we found, it can be said he is now a corpse.

The amount of blood that is dried is equal to the normal human body and how Sue discovers there is a medical report of Peter having a tumour in his head make me feel sick of me.

Soon we decided to make a tomb of himself to honour him.

Just staring at his tomb makes me just want to kill Doctor Octopus who we get captured as he reveals what he has done in Spiderman's body.

Ben is second away from killing him but Laura is faster as she slashes that bastard face before said villain gets into SHIELD Prison.

The number of people who kill him can fit this whole building but the deed is done.

One good man and superhero get wronged, betrayed and damned by us.

Of course, some look like they did not take seriously this matter like Stark who I know caused the fall down of Peter's facility.

I remember how I lash out at him by trying his body when he did not wear his suit.

He must thank his lucky star that Sentry, Amadeus Cho and War Machine hold him off as I curse out words that little kid cannot hear toward Stark.

And from that moment on I will not go toward the meeting that heroes gather.

Heroes. We are. What a joke. We fight each other and then abandoned one of our own because we did bother to investigate it more deeply.

But nowadays I keep going out and taking care of criminals that rampage in the city.

But still, I can see a phantom image of Peter swinging beside me.

And it greatly annoyed me seeing the other spiderlings who I sometimes saw when I do my patrol.

Today is just a regular day when Ben and I had decided to lend a hand The Young Avengers and some of the X-Men fend off against Sabertooth and the other Experiment X projects.

I just burn them to the point they stop moving with Ben just rip them to half and bury his rock fist into the stomach until I notice there are not many of them with me sees headless corpses.

Not the worst thing I see in my hero career but for other people, this may look extreme gross.

I see how one guy that makes me wipe my eyes as I swear my eyes start to hallucinate of Peter Parker overlapping that person who is thrashing Sabertooth with his blowgun.

Looking at Ben we both nod as we walk closer as I heard their talk with Laura who said many sentences that cause my blood to run cold.

Until I take closer if that man appearance as I see how he changed his hairstyle as then what I see makes me freeze on my spot.

A touch on my shoulder makes me snap as I see Ben who has the same expression on me as I see how Bobby, we never talk after that incident, roars at him.

Anger bubbled up inside me as I sees how that person with the face of my buddy do what my buddy will not do.

Torture his enemy in public. That is not what Peter Parker will do. Only a maniac will do that.

My power activated as my body is on fire as I fly to the sky as conjured a huge firewall that I throw toward that bastard.

I click my tongue seeing my attack fail as I land near him.

For a long time, I will fight this guy and knock him out, hopefully, I can find out whether he is a clone, a person from another universe or another Doctor Octo situation.

If it is the last scenario I will make sure to burn his real body. And maybe I can meet my best friend back.

Of course, that is what a Fool and Sinful Man wish.

PETER POV

"Ah damn. I need to use Ultimatrix. My current equipment cannot handle them all. " I thought in my head.

"L. Send this to Mike right now. I am going to break one of the rules which is the usage of Ultimatrix in public. And I will handle the consequences. And order the nearby agents to take Rudy and his classmates with the teacher back to the safety zone." I command my companion AI mentally in my head as a "Yes" is replied by my creation.

I crack my neck.

"Okay, buddy. Time to see what you can handle when I go Amazing." I said with me sees how he grow madder hearing that as he unleashes a flame thrower at me as my hand goes toward Ultimatrix.

It pops up as I scroll through it quickly with me press it down as the flame envelop my whole body.

My body is now enveloped in red armour as I quickly spray out water to delete this fire attack.

"What the fuck!" I did not know who said that.

"He is...." I cannot hear that word as Johnny slam my body as I get dragged through the floor as I blast my water to his body which I see is useless.

Damn this guy when he pumps up to make water useless since he evaporates it.

My Parker luck right now is seriously striking me at a really bad time.

"What are You HUH?!" He slams both of his hands toward my chest as I spray his whole face with my water but his head just explodes in flame as I see him grab both my hand as he increased his grip strength.

And I think he also wants to meet both my hand which is not good news for me.

Okay. Let's see how he handle this. A shot of high-pressure water pushes him backwards as he crosses his arm to send his attack.

Water and fire clash as steam spread through the whole area as we both increase the input of our attack.

The other heroes seem did not to bother our fight as in my head I had many ways to defeat Johnny.

I stop my attack as I make use of the steam to go. behind Johnny who Saturn his head but a water hammer on my right hand already smash his head as I followed up with a close-up water blast that sends him to the air as I manipulate the water to giant fist that punch him to the ground as I intend to do it until his body gives out but the fire around his body burst as I can feel the heat from that burst.

My water gets evaporated as I quickly launch a water blast at him as he points his hands toward me as then all I sees is a wave of flame that hit my entire body.

Damn even the last-minute water shield get erased as I just released cold water that I spray out wildly as I can still feel my armour being heated up by that attack.

Johnny seems to want to envelop me in his fireblast as I slowly fight back with my water blast that now can go toe to toe with his high-temperature flame that grows hotter each second.

We both are equal as I manipulated water to form a whip that I use to slap apart the fire blast as Johnny body get hit by it as he gets a push a few steps backwards.

I send many whip attacks that manage to land him as he avoids them with him counter-attack with any fireworks that explode. upon hitting me.

"Enough!" His entire body let out a fire blast that push me as all the water turn into steam as he tackles me to the air as he let me go up high in the sky as he relates a roar as a huge fire blast hit my entire body.

Luckily I manage to form a shield of cold water as I intend to grow it bigger to push it forward.

It manages to push through this attack as my body now is free-falling as Johnny stop his attack with him keep blasting me as I form an orb of cold water that protect me from his attack.

This is why he makes his orb that sends me land harshly on the ground as I pick myself up from the ground as I see Johnny who now is hovering around me.

"Stand down NOW!" He said with an authoritative tone but I just blast him a water blast that deleted his entire fire body.

Wait, what?

My back got hit as then many flames hit my entire body as now I am being burned alive by 10 Human Torch with one is above me as they all blast their fire attack.

"Oh shit. This is bad." I thought in my head I can feel my armour right now is likely going to melt.

Which make me know this world hero is no joke when they are angry.

And right now I need to take this fight seriously or I will be becoming a roasted clam.

Closing my eyes I unleash my water blast that did not get out from my palm. Well, it is fueling hot here which is no wonder why my water fails.

"Your water right now fail. If you surrender right now I assure you the integration will be a bit nicer." He told me.

"Nicer my ass." I thought in my head as I close my eyes and the movement of a drop of water is made it get bigger at an alarming rate as spikes can be made as they all stab Johnny fire clones.

The one hovering above me is the real one as I bash him with the water orb as his fire body get erased as I conjure a big water hammer as I knock him to the ground.

Then I hit many times as then I make 2 water hand that I gran Johhny who is about to Flame On as he is trying his best to breath in the water with me decreasing my water temperature.

Bubbles can be seen in the water hand that I made as I make them disappear as I punch Johnny face as he spits out some cold water with blood mixed in it.

He lay on the plain ground as I grab his collar and then backhand him. What hit him next is punches that I hit on his face as Peter's memory slowly resurface as I see how Johnny ignores him when he called him for help.

I want to change back to my human form until something landed behind me that shake the ground as then my back get punched and my face landed on the ground far from Johnny as I get up with turned my head to see The Thing who is glaring at me.

"I did not know who the fuck or what you are but no one get away after beating up my friend. It's Clobbering Time!" Ben Grim announced as I just slap my Ultimatrix to turn into another form that can handle this guy.

Certainly fighting someone who can fight equally with Hulk requires a stronger alien than the current one.

What luck I have to fight 2 of Fantastic Four here. Whatever Iron Fist will meet his demise after I finish this fight.
