AVENGERS TOWERS

"Are you sure they are dead?" Charles Xavier, Professor X look at Beast, his long time friend.

"Yes. They are dead. I-I already peers into their mind only to be met with silence. They have truly been killed." The bald mutant said as they strolled into the building.

"That Zero guy is a psychopath." Cyclops who is behind them said.

"It is enough he killed those 3 even together are bad guys but does he still have to show the whole world how he brutally killed them?" Cyclops continued.

"Come on honey. Be patient." Emma Frost said to her man who takes a deep breath as Logan who is behind them snorted as some of the important figures of the famed X-Men has decided to attend the Avengers towers after what just happened.

"I somehow feel relief that this Zero guy did not attack us at the theme park," Gambit mutters to Iceman who agrees with his statement.

"I still cannot shake the image of Blob's body," Rogue mutters as Kurt who is beside her shudder remembering that as he vomits right after seeing that.

"You did not have to remind us of that," Shadowcat told her.

"At least now we know that Zero guys hate us mutants so much," Evans commented.

"Let's not forget heroes and villains too," Colossus chimed in.

All the mutants enter with them seeing the familiar Inhuman mute king who is with his family, King Namor with none of his guard, beside him is Fantastic Four Leader, Reed with Susan and his brother, The Thing meanwhile is sitting beside She-Hulk.

There are other Heroes too but they paid no attention to it as they all seated down with Jarvis showed the headline of all the newspapers.

"This Zero guy, he is the same guy who beat Miles, Kaine and Silk?" Captain America ask Tony who wears a tuxedo nodded his head.

"Yup. This is the same guy that injured Ant-Man. Gosh, he sure has the balls to hurt some of ours and now he does this. Is this his way of declaration that he is not afraid of us or to show us how he hates heroes and villains?" Tony quip as he looks at the heroes that have gathered in this room.

"I motion the one where you said he hates us, heroes and villains." Miles raises his head.

"Kid. Do not raise your hand. This is not high school." Ant-Man scolded Miles who rub his back head sheepishly.

"Does he have a grudge against us? Have any of us fought this shapeshifter before?" Prof X ask the heroes but is met with silence.

"Except when he first appears kicking Miles's butt, I do not think we all ever met this guy." Carol Danvers or Warbird replied to the mutant question.

"Hmm. If I met this Zero, I will not show him any mercy the moment he decides to attack me." King Namor said.

"The technology he possesses raises more questions." Black Panther said earning the heroes attention.

"My sister Shuri has been keeping a tab and with the help of my nation technology, she can detect a high-level technology coming from tha emblem on the shapeshifter appearances." He added as Tony shows the Ultimatrix symbol.

"Not only that. We also manage to deduce that this same technology can cure any abnormality in a living person DNA." Reed Richard said while showing the video of the infected people who get exposed to the Lizard gas been cured by Ultimatrix.

"I seriously did not understand this guy? He rescued people but when he sees us, he attacks us. What is his problem?" Hawkeye or his real names goes by Clint Barton voiced out his opinion.

"Perhaps Zero has a deep grudge toward us after what happened to him after the big fight we had." Vision, the android suddenly said making all the heroes frown remembering the dark history that they committed.

"We all know how some people get affected by our fight." Vision continued.

"That is a lead for a starter. Or does this guy simply hate us?" She-Hulk commented.

"You guys are being too cautious of this guy. In the end, this guy is just like Punisher but can turn into man creatures. I bet I can beat this guy up and then we can interrogate him of why he attacks some of us." Nova, the teenage hero's power come from his helmet said in arrogance making the heroes around him shake their head seeing the young hero eagerness and cockiness.

"Yeah. Just do not let us sees your crippled body after your encounter with this Zero." Amado Cho said making Nova glare at him with the wannabe Hulk does the same as they are inches away from starting a fight.

"Enough. We are here to talk about this Zero not to hear you two arguing." Captain America's stern voice sounded making both young heroes show their mouths.

"Okay. Good job Cap. And now for the more importing matter, I know we all know what happens after Zero's stunt against those 3 mutants. The hatred against mutants has risen back." Tony said as he shows all the posts of the hatred toward mutants on social media toward the heroes.

"Okay. We already knew about that. And we have prepared to face any Sentinels that may come to our home." Jean Gray said as she folded her arms with distress on her face, the expression that is shared by all the mutants.

"And we will assist you if they come." Captain America said.

"So have we manage to track this Zero guy?" Sam Wilson or his hero moniker that is known by many people Red Falcon ask.

"No. Even with the help of Jarvis. This guy is smart enough to cover his track and avoided all cameras that we can use to locate him." Black Widow replied.

"For now. We will this Zero as a top priority for us to not engage alone. I repeat, do not engage him alone if you did not want to stay on the bed as a crippled person for the rest of your life." Tony said toward the heroes.

"Excuse me but I believe I need to excuse myself. It seems some rogue sorcerers are running amok in Asia." Doctor Strange told the heroes.

"It's alright. This meeting is already its end. You need any assistance from us?" Steve ask the Sorcerer Supreme.

"No. But I appreciate the offer Captain." Stephen Strange then conjures a portal as he disappears from the meeting room.

"Can we also make it for everyone to be noticed ASAP if the Zero encounter one of us? At least it will make the chance for us to walk for the next day slightly increase." Scarlet Spider who has his right arm wrap in a safe voiced out his opinion.

"Good idea Kaine. I will alert Jarvis to do that to each of your Avengers cards," said Tony as he proved to tell his AI of what it needs to do.

"What do we know about this Zero?" Logan who is quiet from the beginning shoot a question.

"All we know this guy is affiliated with the government Secret Service agents. And he goes by the name Enforcer when he is with them." Red Falcon replied as he still remembers his team meeting with the Enforcer.

"We also met this guy in the amusement park. Along with the Secret Service agents." Colossus said.

"Do you think the military or the government has their luck come by vetting themselves this shale shining technology?" Beast's question makes the billionaire click his tongue.

"I will ask them when I had a meeting with the World Council which is about in 4 hours. Gosh. Sometimes I wonder if half of my day is meeting with them as of being the director of SHIELD." Tony groan as he decides to make himself a cup of coffee leaving the heroes to start tk chat with each other as that signifies or their meeting about Zero.

"Susan, how is Daredevil's current situation?" Iron Fist approaches the female member of Fantastic Four and ashes her a question that has been in his kind for days.

"I am sorry but there is a little chance for him to be awake in this week and the next one. And the chance for him to never feel his hands are high too with many nerves has revered by the injuries he suffered. As for his legs," She pauses as she then continues with a sad tone.

"He may not be able to walk anymore. Whoever crippled him make sure he cannot have his legs work anymore." She solemnly said as the other heroes pity of what happens toward the Hell Kitchen's Devil.

*Bang* Sound of punching can be heard as Luke cage has and a hole the same size as his fist on the wall of the meeting room.

"Next time I see this Zero, he will payback for what he did." Luke Cage said.

"We still did not know if this was Zero's doing," Jessica said toward her husband.

"Oh yeah. Then who else target us heroes than this Zero huh?!" Luke ask her back with anger expression that can be seen on his face.

"Calm down Luke. You are not the only one who feel angry about what happened toward Daredevil." Kaine who sees both male and female heroes argue interrupt as this is not the time for them to do that.

"Next time I met Zero, I am going to bash his skull," Luke said as he walk away as Iron Fist sigh.

"I will take care of him." The martial art hero said as he follows the black man leaving some of the heroes seeing how one of them react like that.

"We all can just hope that Luke returns after confronting Zero or we have to set up another medical bed for another hero in this building," Carol mutters in a low tone making the others look at her with a deadpan gaze.

"What? Remember what Jarvis once said, he has one guy that has the same magnetic pulse energy the same as Magneto, one guy that can wreck any city whenever he wanted. And any guy who's powerful as that surely will cause any sane person to be worried hearing that." She added as she walk away.

"Someone seems to be in sarcastic mode today," Miles said as Silk look at her fellow spider.

"Just her remember something happening important in this day after all." Silk said as she also walk away leaving the others confused hearing her statement.

"Probably remembering her anniversary with one of her exes?" Gambit said while shuffling his card making him get elbowed by Rogue which make him yelp in pain.

New York POV

*SOB*SOB*SOB*

The sound of sobbing can be heard in an apartment room.

A blonde woman and a brunette are currently in a particular room with the brunette is the one who is crying with the blonde one is holding herself back from crying.

"Come on Jessica. It's been a month since Peter died. You cannot grieve on him forever like this." The blonde woman who is Carol Danvers or her heroine moniker that is currently Warbird told the female spider heroine who goes by the name Spider-Woman who's real name is Jessica Drew.

"I-I can not help it. After what we have done toward him. We d-did not have a chance to apologise to him. All we know is we find a room that only has his blood-splattered in it with nos sight of his corpse." Jessica said making Carol let out few tears fell to the floor.

A few moments later, they both left as then a figure enters as that figure click his tongue.

"Fucking hell. The last time I remember this place is a mess but it seems someone mess my former room." The figure is Peter Parker who wears his hero suit.

"Whatever. Time to explore this room." Then he takes out a case and throws it on the floor as the case make a ticking sound as Peter sits in this room as look around.

"So Carol and Jessica seem to visit this place often. Maybe they thought this place is possibly the latest and best place for them to mourn me since they cannot find I supposed grave. That is intriguing." Peter said as his ear hear footsteps as then his ear com beep.

"Boss. Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew seem to return to the room." L informs me as I feel confused about why they return to this place as then my feet seem to be stepping onto something as I look below only to see Spiderman's classic red and blue suit.

"Hmm. Maybe they find some of my spare ones." I thought in my head as a thought cross my mind as my mouth curl up forming a vicious smile.

"Since they think this damn suit is a reminder of me toward them, maybe I should destroy it." I thought in my head as footsteps can be heard as they are slowly approaching closer as my hand approaches the Ultimatrix.

Twisting the dial of the device, a hologram popped up as it is Heatblast but I keep spinning it until one catches my eye.

My palm hit the dial down back as an emerald flash enveloped my whole body as my body get wrapped by green vines as my body becomes a tree with my leg or should I say soles become stones with seeming vines seems to enveloped it. Both my hands changes with both my palm has holes with my head now looked like a flame

"Swampfire," I mutter with my nasal voice sounded just in time the door opened as I see the face of 2 Peter's former girlfriend who seems surprised to see me in this room with my right hand is grabbing the Spidey suit.

"Hey ladies, you missing something in this room?" I ask them with a teasing tone while deliberately showed them I have the suit in my grasp.
