11 Chapter XI: My Second Pet, and Call Me Billy

The first thing I did when I woke up was open the Item Shop to finally get some armor, or possibly more than one set if I have enough ISP.

I don't really need the Destroyer suit, but I'm gonna melt it down and sell it in the pawn shop to see how much I'll get for it.

I ran out to the plain and pulled out all of my new suits from my inventory. When I pulled them out they were on metal suit stands and looked brand new.

The Mark 50 Suit looked just like the one that Tony Stark wore in Avengers Endgame and Infinity War, of course, this suit came with out the Infinity Stones.

The Superior Spider Suit looked exactly like in the comics. It has a black and red color scheme, retractable claws and spider legs, and web wings.

The Destroyer Suit looked just like it did in Thor. It was a large machine that could laser beams, but the best part, was that this whole thing was made of Uru, a strong metal that great with magic and nearly indestructible.

Then there was the Black Panther suit, which looked just the same as the one in the MCU.

It was traced all around in Vibranium and nanotechnology. I put all the suits away for now except for The Destroyer.

I turned into my Sphinx Form, since Blaze was out hunting for ISP and food for tonight. I was just around the height of the large piece of armor.

I picked it up, and might I say, this suit was heavy as fuck. Uru is no joke when it comes to heaviness. Despite the weight of the suit, I started to ball it up into a sphere.

It took about 10 minutes just to ball it up, and I was only 1/3 of the way done with this process.

After balling it up, I stayed in my Sphinx Form and started phasing my hand and rubbing the large orb of Uru, in an attempt to round it out. That took even longer than turning it into a ball, this took an astounding 25 minutes.

But now, I had a 6' Foot 5' Inch tall, 7 foot wide ball/oval of Uru metal.

Without any hesitation, I touched the orb of goods and summoned the mighty pawn shop.

If you're wondering why I didn't just buy it then immediately sell it, it's because the system doesn't let you buy things from the system and sell things to the Pawn Shop, so I found a loop hole, and I figured that if I turned the thing I bought into something that I can't get from the system, then I could sell it.

The orb disappeared just as I got a mental message from Blaze.

<Father, I'm done hunting.>

<Alright Blaze, I'm on my way.>

I ran towards his location and found a pile of triceratops on the ground in front of Blaze.

<Good boy Blaze, go ahead and eat two of them.>

<Thank you.>

He grabbed two from the pile and threw them behind him and starting eating. I touched the pile, ignoring the blood flying everywhere.

My vision looked weird and white lines appeared in my vision.

'What the hell? Is that my spider sense? The movies are a lie, that shit didn't tingle.'

I heard a low growl and looked around. I was completely surrounded by panthers, but it didn't look like they wanted to harm me, they seemed confused. Another growl resounded as they stopped circling me and they made way for another Panther.

The Panther that stepped through the path had bright yellow eyes and dark blue fur. It circled me and sniffed me all around while Blaze just watched, wishing he could snicker at my current predicament.

Eventually, the Panther stopped and bowed its head, leading the other panthers to do the same. 'What is going on? System, use scan on this Panther.'

I realized the situation and I rubbed the top of his head. I opened the pet function to see his full status. 'System, open pet function and make Bashenga my second pet.'

I now had three separate mental links in my mind that are all easy to differentiate and aren't that hard to maintain. I have Blaze, Bashenga, and The Panther Goddess who's name I found out is Bast. I found out because she told me, very seductively.

The good thing about me having mental connections through the system with these two, means that they can communicate mentally through the system too.

They don't know how I'm allowing them to communicate telepathically, but they know of how powerful I am, so they don't question it.

They both went off to hunt some food and I was going to go train until I heard something.

I turned around and saw a person crashing through a bunch of three branches before hitting the ground with a thud.

'Who the hell is this?' I walked up to them and saw a familiar face, but that only shocked me even more.

'Agamotto? What is he doing here? Shouldn't he be with Set?' He was really injured and was bleeding a lot, if I leave him here he would surely die.

"I know he was a dickhead but he's still a kid. He doesn't deserve to die."

I looked through the miscellaneous items in the Item Shop for some kind of healing potions but there was nothing there to help this dying kid.

'Shit! What am I gonna do?' I brainstormed Ideas and found one.

I grew a claw from my finger and cut my wrist, since the only thing that can pierce my skin is my self. I opened his mouth and made him swallow the blood steadily flowing out before the wound closed.

Eventually the bleeding stopped after one minute and Agamotto fluttered his eyes open.

"Sigh, you scared me kid, now what are you doing here?" He sat up and looked around, seemingly confused.

"I'm alive? How?" He asked in disbelief, also ignoring the previous beef we had the last time we met.

"I saved your life by giving you some of my blood. Now what are you doing here?" I asked, on the edge of annoyance from him not answering my question.

He looked disgusted, but understood that he would've died if I didn't do that.

"I owe you one." He thanked me while trailing off.

I nodded at him and waited for him to continue.

"Set and I were training my Mystic Arts and combat when a Hell Portal opened in front of us. Mephisto and Cthon appeared out of it and fought set together, and they-" He choked on his words, tears threatening to leave his eyes, but also a glint of rage and anger.

"They killed him, they killed Set. Then they tried to kill me, but I managed to get away using the secret escape we had, and I got pretty banged up on the way."

I scanned through his heart beat and saw that he was telling the truth.

'Mephisto and Cthon? Why are they teaming up? I'm pretty sure that I didn't do anything wrong, so I don't know their true motive.'

"Do you have any idea why they're doing this?" I asked him, looking for answers.

"They said that they needed to get rid of every threat that could prevent them from continuing their true goal. So I think they're going after all of the Elder Gods."

"Hm, okay, but how did you get here?"

"Well, I originally set the coordinates of my escape pod towards the island that we fought on to get your help, but I saw you weren't there, so I used my last bit of energy to open a portal to Genosha, but I couldn't choose where I landed, but luckily, I landed in front of you." He carefully explained, while astonished at the recovery speed of his wounds.

"Alright, well come back to the Cave that I've lived in with a dinosaur and now a panther."

"Haha, super funny, where are you actually living?" He asked, following behind me.

I turned around with a serious face. "I'm not joking." I turned back around and kept walking.

I could've ran back while carrying him, but I felt like taking a walk to try and get more information.

"How many more Elder Gods are left for them to kill?" I needed to know how much time we had before they put there plan in motion.

"As far as I know, they only have two people left, Mother Gaea, and my actual mother, Oshtur."

"We have to get to your mother as fast as we can and bring her here, because I assume you don't know where Gaea is?" He shook his head.

"Okay, where is your mother?"

"I know where she is, but we can't get there." He said slowly.

"What do you mean we can't get her? Why not?"

"She's, not on Earth. Well she is, but not this one."

I stared him down with no expression.

"Where the hell is your mother." I expressionlessly said.

"She's in another dimension."

"Does Cthon or Mephisto know this?"

"No, they don't."

'Okay, so they're gonna try and kill Gaea, and considering that Oshtur is in another dimension, it will take a very long time to find her. And since they're related, that means Cthon can travel dimensions too.'

"Alright, we're here." I said.

"I don't see a cave, or a dinosaur, or a panther." He said, looking ahead at the plain field we were at.

"Well to see those last two, just turn around. And there's no cave because I've had a change of mind. You need to be trained, and fast."

He turned around and saw Bashenga on top of Blaze's head while both of them stared him down. He gasped before turning back around and focusing on my words.

"But, aren't we supposed to find my mother?"

"We don't have to find your mother, because we can't. No matter how powerful I am, I can't travel dimensions, even if I could, I don't know how. And I don't even know which one she's in.

But, Cthon and Mephisto can travel dimensions, so it will take them a long time to find your mother in the vast number of dimensions. So we have enough time to make you strong enough to help me save your mother, save Gaea, and defeat Mephisto and Cthon. Will you help me Agamotto?"

I stretched out my hand and waited for him to answer. I saw his facial expressions change multiple times from thinking, denial, contemplation, confusion, and then, to resilience.

"I'll help you out Mr. Loomis." He said with conviction, shaking my hand.

"Then you can call me Billy."
