88 I, Mage, Am Very Strong

Fanny didn't immediately recognize Blonsky as the person that would later become Abomination. He only realized that when he saw Blonsky's superhuman speed.

However, Fanny didn't panic. It was just an inferior imitation of Captain America's serum. Before becoming Abomination, Blonsky would only have a 50:50 chance of killing Captain America.

Fanny had set his sight on standing on the same level or even beyond Captain Marvel. Time to test if he passed this lower class!

Fanny didn't retreat from Blonsky's charge and tanked it head-on. His fist collided with Blonsky, and a muffled impact echoed: the two of them were sent flying simultaneously.

This situation was somewhat beyond Fanny's expectations. While 'Demon Armor Incursio' had not developed additional special abilities, his strength, agility, and senses should have been growing steadily.

Especially his strength—Fanny had been able to go toe-to-toe against Tony's Iron Man armor, but Blonsky had been able to match him.

Blonsky's strength was beyond Fanny's expectations!

The immense opposing force had collided through their fist, sending the raw power through their arms. Fanny was protected by the absolute defense of 'Demon Armor Incursio,' so he wasn't affected too much.

On the other hand, Blonsky had his wrist twisting at a horrifying angle.

To Fanny's horror, Blonsky forced the injured wrist back with his other hand. The broken wrist had returned to normal with some wriggling movement under his skin.

This is a horrifying recovery ability!

The laboratory still held intact samples of Banner's blood. Afraid that Blonsky would get exposed to it, Fanny planned to bring the battle outside. He immediately took the initiative to attack and rushed toward Blonsky.

Blonsky's rage was ignited by the punch just now. He grinned when he saw Fanny rushing at him and charged forward in kind, his eyes burning with madness.

"Bang!"

Shockwaves filled the laboratory, shattering all manners of glassware. Blonsky's flexible movement and rich combat experience made it hard for Fanny to take the upper hand.

Fanny changed his tactic and led Blonsky to the windows by pretending to retreat. He then pushed the soldier out to the ground level, flying down in turn. With the terrifying recovery ability Blonsky just displayed, this much fall shouldn't even register as a threat.

Sure enough, when Fanny arrived at the ground, Bruce was only a little dusty. His clothes were damaged, but there was no wound on his body—there might have been, but he had since recovered.

Fanny felt a headache against this undying cockroach type of enemy. He didn't expect Blonsky to be this strong even before becoming Abomination.

However, Fanny only felt that this was difficult, not impossible. He even wanted to test the effect of his skills against Blonsky's recovery.

As the battle raged on, the side effect of Blonsky's mutation became apparent. The bones in his body became more visible, and his hair started falling off. His entire body seemed to become something other than a human.

Yet his power still grew at insane levels. Sure enough, staying as a human had its limits.

Fanny frowned. Under the darkness of the night, Blonsky turned into something akin to an evil apparition, sending chills down people's spines.

"Humph, evil spirit, you have shown your blasphemous nature. Hurry up and show your true form."

Fanny increased his strength and prepared to modify the chant for 'Explosion Magic' to test the limits of the skill.

"The mighty Heavenly Dragon, the World Honored Ksitigarbha, Prajna Buddha, Prajnapa Makong!"

Fanny felt a little nostalgic when he recited the Chinese words that he hadn't said in a long time. This incantation reached deep into the memories of his previous life, a special move to deal with monsters.

It might just be the psychological effect, but Fanny felt that this particular 'Explosion Magic' had heightened effects against Emil Blonsky.

However, the powerful recovery ability was still enough for Blonsky to survive. At this point, none of his clothes or his hair had survived. His bones were clearly embossed against his skin, and some even pierced the skin, turning it into bone spikes.

This was most apparent on his spine. The gray bones had been completely exposed, deformed, and mutated as if the teeth of a dragon.

He looked almost like the Abomination, minus the size of his body.

"I'm going to kill you!"

The intense pain had destroyed more and more of Blonsky's cognition. It seemed that his strength was proportional to his ugliness.

Just before Fanny could end the battle with an 'Ars Magna'-boosted 'Explosion Magic,' a roar suddenly echoed. Then, a green figure descended from the sky, smashing Blonsky to the ground.

"Fuck!"

Fanny felt so stupid. He had been too focused on fighting that he forgot that today's events revolved around Hulk. He cursed before checking the experience bar, finding that it hadn't budged.

This meant that the system had yet to consider the battle over. Fanny quickly flew to Hulk's side, checking on the situation.

"Mage, friend!"

Hulk revealed an ugly smile when he saw Fanny. It was clear that he hadn't forgotten about the mage.

"Hulk, come over here," Fanny quickly called Hulk over. Blonsky still hadn't turned into Abomination, but his strength was no laughing matter. Hulk already experienced a big battle in the afternoon, so his current strength might be weakened.

But the most important matter was to prevent Hulk from stealing Fanny's experience points. He had to defeat Emil Blonsky before Hulk did more damage than him.

While Hulk was still confused, Blonsky suddenly shot out of the pit that Hulk smashed him into.

"I am the strongest!" Blonsky shouted.

Hulk was enraged that Blonsky had survived his attack. He got up and prepared to charge at Blonsky, which made Fanny hurry to stop him, "Let me handle him!"

Hulk stopped and looked at Fanny in confusion. "Dangerous. Mage, little, Hulk, big!"

"…"

Fanny corrected him, "Mage, big and strong!"

The simple-minded Hulk obviously didn't understand the nuance of language. He shook his head and flexed his muscle. "Hulk, strong, mage, weak!"

Fanny clenched his fists. He reminded himself that Hulk was still stronger than him and stopped himself from challenging Hulk to prove his strength. However, he was a mage. He shouldn't depend on pure strength in the first place; his main attribute was magic.

"You look good!" Fanny spat sarcastically. His wrath might not apply a strength buff like Hulk, but he could channel it into a special move!

Fanny turned at Blonsky, who was charging at them. He floated in the air, emptied his mind, and stretched his arm while giving an 'Ars Magna' command, "The gravity around the target is doubled!"

Blonsky suddenly became imbalanced in the middle of his charge and almost fell down. His speed decreased significantly.

Fanny continued to recite commands, "Form a spheroid with a radius of two meters around the object. Increase oxygen level within the volume by ten times!"

Blonsky felt his breathing suddenly clear.

"Darker than black, darker than darkness,"

"Combine with my True Red!"

"The time for awakening has arrived."

"Descend within these boundaries,"

"And appear as intangible distortion."

"!"

A shining crimson magic array filled the dark night sky, and a blinding pillar of fire descended. The violent momentum that scorched everything slammed into Emil Blonsky, who had no time to react.

"I, a mage, am very strong!" Fanny turned to look at Hulk with a proud expression.

The total exhaustion brought by pushing both 'Explosion Magic' and 'Ars Magna' to their very limit almost made Fanny collapse, but the look of approval on Hulk's face made him feel that it was all worth it.
