6 Demonic Armor

According to Fanny's estimate, the experience bar should be ready for the third extraction next week; yet here it is, full and ready.

Fanny already understood the reason. Not long after confirming that the experience bar tracked the usage of skills, he discovered that the amount of experience gained would increase when the skills were used on people.

The increase was especially noticeable when the skills were used to harm or fight other people.

However, 'Ars Magna' was too weak to be used in combat and would leave him vulnerable, and 'Sumire Karaage Rolls' would normally be useless in a fight. On top of his fear of being discovered, Fanny abandoned the idea of increasing his experience through battle.

Fortunately, using his skills on people outside of combat was not as difficult. Fanny stopped any and all negative thoughts about himself when he discovered it.

"I am very smart, I am super handsome, and I will be invincible!"

Fanny had been using 'Ars Magna' continuously for the last eight years, focusing on the first two clauses of that sentence. As a result, he became a famous grade-skipping genius in his school, first-ranked in his grade, and was about to graduate high school at the age of fifteen.

Anyway, after the two small fights that happened today, his experience bar that should've needed a week to fill had been topped up in advance.

After eight years, he could finally extract a skill again. Fanny could not help feeling a little nervous. Fearing he would extract another weak ability like 'Sumire Karaage Rolls,' he postponed the skill extraction until after he went home to take a bath and pray.

Fanny smiled and comforted Skye, who was still preoccupied with her worries, "Well, if you couldn't discover it after ten years, others wouldn't find out about it either."

Skye rolled her eyes, unconvinced. "That's only because I never investigated it seriously."

What Skye said was probably true. Fanny had been with her every day and night; it was impossible that he never subconsciously exposed his ability just like this afternoon. Skye just never expected the truth to be so bizarre, so she never found out in the end.

Skye decided to put her worry aside when she saw Fanny's nonchalant confidence. She turned to the pistol on the table and asked, "Then what should we do with this thing? Should we bring it back?"

Fanny followed her eyes and looked at the gun. The dirty gun was obviously not a good weapon, but he had fired a shot just now, so it at least worked.

"There are still a few bullets inside. Let's leave them in the store, just in case."

In this country, in this city, this thing was not very rare—even those two hooligans could get it, after all. Fanny stood up and hid the gun in a hidden and convenient place. He turned back and grinned at Skye.

"Alright, clean up the shop and prepare to go home. You haven't told me how much you earned today. Because of today's accident, I'll give you an extra ten percent!"

Skye rolled her eyes cutely. She knew that Fanny only said that to get the situation over with, but she replied fiercely, "No, I want the emotional damage compensation. I will take half of the money I earned today."

Fanny put on an incredulous expression, and Skye involuntarily smiled. Her spirit gradually recovered from the shock of the incident just now.

Fanny and Skye cleaned up the place a bit and returned home in Skye's car. Their parents immediately scolded them for being back late right after they opened the door, then urged them to wash their hands and eat.

The warmth of her family helped Skye gradually forget about today's incident. Seeing Fanny acting normally made her feel that everything that happened today was unreal.

Fanny's family ate dinner together at the table. As one of New York's elite lawyers, his father Elias quickly recognized Skye's unease.

"Did something happen in the store today?" Elias asked with concern. Skye was able to open a store in the Upper East Side, where every inch of land was worth as much in gold, because of their parents.

"No, no, the store is doing very good. You have no idea; those people insisted on investing in Fanny so he could open a branch shop!" Skye quickly shook her head. She had promised Fanny to keep the matter a secret, and she did not want her parents to worry about what happened tonight.

Elias laughed at Skye's words. "I really don't know where this kid learned that dish. No matter how hard your mother tried, she could never replicate the taste."

Of course not; that's a superpower!

Skye retorted in her heart, glancing at Fanny, who quietly frowned. Indeed, who would have thought that this dish was a superpower?

Fanny's mother, Willa, was clearly dissatisfied that her husband was looking down on her cooking. She mumbled a similar complaint about her husband.

The warmth and happiness of her home filled Skye's heart and gradually pushed away her worries. Laughter echoed, filling the room.

Fanny took a shower after dinner, washing his hands extra-carefully. He then returned to his room. Tomorrow was the weekend, and he wouldn't have to go to school, so he planned to extract the third skill now.

"Please, please, please, please don't be another cooking skill."

Fanny prayed silently for five minutes, took a deep breath, and began extracting the skill.

He had wanted to use 'Ars Magna' before extracting the skill, but either because he couldn't focus or because the system prohibits such cheating, he didn't succeed.

Fortunately, the final result was not so bad.

"Demon Armor Incursio"

Source: "Akame ga Kill!"

Description: "An armor that contains ancient life forms and can continuously evolve."

Fanny was a bit excited after reading the skill information. His memories were a bit blurry after so many years, but the ultimate equipment of the main character of "Akame ga Kill!" still left an impression on him.

"But this thing is an Imperial Arms. Is it really considered a skill?!"

Fanny was a little puzzled, but when he recalled that the system considered Sumire Karaage Rolls as a skill, an Imperial Arms with special characteristic seemed less outlandish.

Fanny didn't dare to test the skill right there in his room, afraid that he would disturb the neighborhood. He wanted to find a quiet place to test it tomorrow; he didn't know the effect yet, but he was still very excited.

There was a year remaining before Iron Man became known to the public. After that, all kinds of disasters would strike one after another. Fanny was really worried since he couldn't increase the power of 'Ars Magna' beyond dealing with ordinary people.

As for 'Sumire Karaage Rolls'...

You can't repel alien invasion just by giving them some fried chicken rolls.

"I hope it's a powerful ability!"

Fanny couldn't be sure that 'Demon Armor Incursio' would be a strong skill before seeing the effect. After all, 'Ars Magna' was supposed to be omnipotent from the description, but in reality, the skill's effects were severely limited.

Fanny didn't need 'Demon Armor Incursio' to be omnipotent. He would be satisfied if it at least allowed him to be on the same level as the 'ordinary person' like Hawkeye and Black Widow.
