(Third Person POV)

On the roof of Grace Cathedral, San Francisco…

An exhausted Venom is skewered through both pectoral 'muscles' by an enraged Carnage, the act of which, bringing him to his knees. Eddie Brock has been at a disadvantage for most of the mortal combat. This has mainly been a result of him having to juggle fighting Cletus Kasady while protecting his ex-fiancé, Anne Weying after Cletus had kidnapped her.

As Carnage brings his face close to the one who brought him into the world, he warns, "Father, one of us must die."

With Venom currently having the majority of the shared body control, Eddie telepathically says to him, 'We need fire…'

As Venom moves his head up from the ground to face Carnage, the haemokinetic symbiote screeches into his face!

This causes Venom to turn away as Carnage's face gets too close to him. That's when he sees Frances Barrison, A.K.A. Shriek picking herself up off the floor and he finishes Eddies suggestion as a plan forms in their heads "…Or sound."

With only the slightest bit of hesitation, Venom ruthlessly launches Shriek backwards towards the belfry where she collides with the clapper-less church bell.

As Shriek falls down the belfry, before she gets too far down the shaft, she manages to grab hold of the rope used to ring the bell, when two angry space aliens aren't assaulting the cathedral anyways.

Unfortunately for the almost newlywed, the canons of the bell that she was thrown into function as a pendulum. Therefore, as the rope she was clutching for dear life, gets pulled taught due to her bodyweight hanging off it, the lip of the bell comes back and severs the only thing between her and an upwards of 100-foot drop.

As she falls, in her anger, she resolves to try take both symbiotes and their hosts, down with her. Inhaling to the maximum capacity her lungs can contain, she doesn't even hesitate before releasing a shockwave not only strong enough to decimate the top of the bell tower, but also at the perfect frequency to incapacitate both symbiotes, temporarily splitting them from their hosts before they also fall down the belfry shaft towards the nave of the cathedral.

Shriek hit the ground after managing to slow herself down just enough with the scaffold sheeting to not die from the impact of the fall. Just before she could relax about surviving such an ordeal, she sees the bell falling straight towards her, inevitably going to crush her to death.

This was when an unknown third-party gets involved and fires an explosive blast at the bell, altering its trajectory such that the bell impacts the ground just slightly to the left of Shriek, saving her life! This does not mean that she is in luck however, as the next minute two barbs are fired into her neck delivering a high enough voltage to rob her of consciousness.

As Venom was falling, he extended out to latch onto Dan Lewis so that he can travel through the link him, and Anne have made. This would enable it to slingshot itself back around towards Eddie and mitigate any damage he would take from the fall. Or, at the very least, preventing him from dying from the impact so the symbiote could heal him.

Unluckily for Venom and Eddie, the same third-party that intervened in Shriek's fate decided this was the perfect time to get involved and foil Venom's plan. With the sound of a compressed air canister firing, a transparent cube gets fired at the black symbiote mid-air, containing it, and altering its course just before it can grab onto Dr. Dan! The momentum behind the cube also launches it in a horizontal arc away from Eddie towards the alter of the cathedral where it collides into the fallen bell before landing onto Shriek's unconscious body!

Seemingly pleased with herself, the third-party shouts, "Conversion!"

Since there was nothing for Eddie to grab hold of to slow himself down or break his fall in any way, he landed head first onto the ground with a *THUD* splattering his head and firing brain matter everywhere. The sight was oddly reminiscent of how a watermelon explodes when dropped from a suitable height.

""Eddie!!""

Both Dan and Anne shouted in horror at the sight of Eddie dying upon impact with the floor. They never expected something like this would happen after he became one with the symbiote, especially considering the injuries the pair have shrugged off before.

Next it was Cletus's turn to reach the ground floor. He was more fortunate than Eddie in that his descent was slowed with scaffolding, but even after travelling through three full layers of the stuff, there was still enough of a fall to make sure he didn't land unscathed. One of his legs was bent horizontally at a 90-degree angle from its original position and his pelvis, as well as part of his spine, was shattered from the impact.

His bonded symbiote, Carnage, landed a short 10-ish foot distance away from him and as it slowly made its way over to its host the third-party again got involved and captured it into another transparent cube!

Standing there with the caged haemo-symbiote in her hands was a young woman who, appearance wise, looked to be in her late-teens/early-20s. She had flowing, shoulder length, burgundy red hair that started off straight but began to curl halfway down. Her almond shape, bright amber eyes were practically sparkling with excitement.

Her alabaster skin was flawless with the exception of a small scar crossing slightly diagonally over the right side of both of her full, terra cotta coloured, lips. Rounding out the rest of her prominent facial features was a cute Greek nose, an inverted triangle shape face and matching strong jawline, like a divine being themselves carved her from her skin colours' namesake.

Standing at a slightly above average height of 5'10", slightly oversized D, borderline E-cup, breasts that seemed to defy gravity by how perky they were and an equally perfect ass that wouldn't entirely fit in one's hands. She was the epitome of an hourglass shape and so buxom that even the latex combat bodysuit she was wearing struggled to contain her curves.

She walked over to Cletus like a model on a catwalk, swaying her wide hips side-to-side, with one foot directly in front of the other. In a handful of strides, she was stood over the former groom-to-be, but before she could, do or say anything, Cletus interrupted her.

"Who are you?! Where's Eddie?! Give me back the symbiote! I've done no-"

*Bang*

"Why are the bad guys always so fucking loud. Sheesh, if they did less yapping and more planning they might win once in a while." She said, with a British accent, as she was picking her ear out with her little finger. Cletus barely managed to get a few words out before the mysterious woman put a bullet in his brain using her handgun.

As she stood over Cletus's now leaky corpse, she went through a mental checklist of the tasks she set out to complete on this fine night. [Venom – check, Carnage – check, Hosts – dead, double check. Even managed to save Shriek to test if my theory is correct. Now all I need to do is go get my own Klyntar.]

Just as she was about to walk towards the unconscious Shriek and entrapped Venom, the screech of a banshee was heard behind her; "You killed Eddie!!"

Turning around what greeted her was the sight of Anne on her knees, with bloodshot eyes filled with hatred and tears constantly streaming down her face, cradling Eddies' mangled body.

With a genuine happy smile on her face, she answered Anne, even though she didn't ask a question, "Yup I did! Did you see the way his head exploded like a watermelon?! Never seen one that big before, that's gotta be a new record."

Anne's breath seemed to get hitched in her throat as she never expected to get a reply, let alone one filled with such joy and fascination. Dan replied for her, giving his 'professional' opinion as a doctor, "You're a psychopath. You show no remorse for killing Eddie or anyone else I imagine."

Clearly insulted by such a statement she snaps back, "Hey, I take offense to that! I'm no psycho. Although I'll admit I have considered whether I'm a bit of a sociopath. But it's not exactly like these two were good guys either! They've killed countless of innocents, so in the eyes of most people I'm the good gal here…" she tilts her head slightly, "…probably. Now if you'll excuse me, places to be, people to… well… we'll see how it goes."

Turning around to walk away she is interrupted by the irate Anne again, "Wait! What do you-"

"Ah you're right! I forgot, no loose ends, nothing personal folks. Say 'Hi' to Eddie for me!"

Turning back to face the two, she points her gun at them, and in quick succession-

*Bang* *Bang*

-ends their lives like the two hosts before them.

"Now to harvest the fruits of my hard, hard labour."

Holstering her pistol on her thigh strap and picking off where she left off before she was so rudely interrupted. The mysterious woman strides over to the remaining symbiote cube to then secure both of them in her backpack. Exhibiting strength not outwardly apparent due to her not-so-muscular appearance, she effortlessly executes a flawless ranger roll to hoist Shriek up onto her shoulders.

Skipping her way to the remaining bell tower staircase she planned to scale, the self-aware sociopath begins to sing out loud as she rhythmically scales the belfry.

"If you love somebody~

Better tell them while they're here cause~

They just might run away from you~"

The clearly excited woman had her angelic singing cut short as she made it to the top of the cathedral, nearly managing to make it to the end of her song, owed to the pace she maintained to summit the winding staircase even with an unconscious woman slung over her shoulders.

Upon reaching the cathedral roof, she audibly squeals with joy. Clearly the sight in front of her eyes of a man impaled onto exposed scaffolding with a chain around his neck was worth getting happy about.

"Eeeeek! Come to Mommy baby!"

Almost sprinting up to the human kebab, formally known as Patrick Mulligan, she unceremoniously throws Shriek to the ground before quickly pulling out another, empty, glasslike cube from her backpack. She proceeds to hold it between her plump thighs, seemingly wanting to collect something from the still corpselike body and contain it within the cube. Surprisingly, the next item she withdraws, this time from the front pouch of her backpack, is a tuning fork.

"Fingers and toes crossed this works."

Slamming the tuning fork against the scaffolding, an ear-piercing screech reverberates around the cathedral roof. However, it is not just the captured Venom or Carnage within the backpack that made the sound. It also came from the impaled detective's body! As the screeching reaches a fever pitch, a lump of half red and half black coloured slime mass drops off Patrick's body onto the wooden slats below. Without missing a beat, the overjoyed woman collects the slime into the glasslike cube previously held between her thighs.

"Hehehe! Finally! Finally, I can be sure that I won't immediately die no matter what comes my way! I can actually start living my life and doing superhero shit! Oops, let's not get ahead of myself."

Taking a few deep breathes to calm down and steady herself, she withdraws her pistol from her holster before putting another of her bullets into the head of Detective Mulligan ensuring he is without a doubt dead.

*Bang*

"He probably would have died, but better to be safe than sorry. Oi newborn! Split out a seed now before I drop you in a fire whilst slamming this tuning fork against as much metal as I can until you either burn to death or suffer long enough to starve to death considering your host is dead 'n' all."

Hearing the conviction in this terrifying being's voice, the newborn Klyntar swiftly splits a part of itself and moves to the opposite side of the cube. The child now separated from the main body has identical colouring from its parent, red and black split into two distinct sides with no mixing of the colours whatsoever.

As quick as she can, the woman opens a flap on the transparent cube just enough to slide in a couple of fingers and scoop out the seconds old symbiote before securing the opened face shut again so the parent can't escape.

Holding the key to her superhero life in her hands, tears of happiness slowly fall from her glistening amber eyes.

"I did it… please bond with me little one."

No sooner had the words left her mouth, than the little Klyntar on her palm wrapped around her hand completely before slowly spreading up her forearm, past her elbow, up and around her shoulder. Everywhere the Symbiote went, her form-fitting combat suit would disintegrate almost as if the being was insulted its host would wear anything other than itself. Feeling her heart race with anticipation, the woman notices that her body instinctually begins her fight or flight response. This results in adrenaline being forced into her system causing her heart to beat even faster and sweat to be produced en masse. The symbiote itself relishes the sweat and consumes it greedily. This action causes a little drain on her stamina from such bodily function and a concerned look appears on the woman's stunning face. However, the concern is quickly replace with shock as the symbiote explodes into multiple tentacles and instantaneously surrounds her entire being.

"Mmmm~ Why does it- Ahh~ Feel so good!"

With her cheeks died red underneath the assimilating symbiote, the moaning woman is brought out of reverie by the sound a helicopter blades spinning overhead.

"Little one, just stop at ahhh~ light bond first. We need to mmmm~ove away from here as soon haaa~s possible."

The Klyntar, instinctively understanding what its host requires of it, swiftly halts the bonding process, and settles for a surface level bond whereby it latches onto the hair follicles on her body. This allows the symbiote to supply their host with a minimal strength enhancement through itself, but it cannot seep into her skin and so to any possible onlookers she looks like a solid, featureless, red from the waist down, black from the waist up, shadow.

Realising that she can't go back down into the interior of the cathedral due to police reinforcements now on site, the newly, partially, bonded heroine gathers the still unmoving Shriek and races to the back of the cathedral, launching herself as far as she can, away from the cathedral and into the modern labyrinth of San Francisco. With the dead of night acting as her ally, the police force below, as well as the chopper in the sky, are none the wiser to her presence or escape.
