41 The Workshop.

While Fafnir didn't really want to get in, he said that Evaldi's workshop would definitely be filled with countless types of monsters, I made him shut up and walk with me, death after death is really nothing, his soul will be restored after several hours at most.

The reason I wanted to encroach on the house of a dead dwarf was that according to Fafnir, Evaldi had figured out a way to harness the energy and power of the Niflheim Realm himself, which made even Odin concern.

And since I am also a chemist, it is only natural that I am interested in other chemist's research and diaries.

After I have reached the enlightenment which is: Odin does not really care about discipline, honor, loyalty, and impartial traits, then I will be more than happy to have something that I can use against him and provoke his anger, just as no one says no to some free power and knowledge.

Odin may be angry, but he already is, it would be nice to pay back some debt at last, while I can't just go forward and fight him, I can work against him in secret, build my assassin creed, liberate London ...

I pushed the thick metal door as if it didn't weigh at least several tons.

"What is this smell ?!" Fafnir said as he covered his nose, Even though the fog inside this place was less dense, it was more toxic and stinks.

In order to keep my body functioning to its fullest, I had to use more divine energy.

The apparent building was completely empty, had it not been for the fact that I am the great god of wisdom, Fafnir would not have found the secret entrance hidden in the floor, where it seems that Evaldi's hideout was underground, so vulgar if I had asked.

The bunker consisted of several separate floors, each floor was a maze made up of several circles, blocked paths and dangerous and deadly traps, there were also several enemies such as Hell Walkers and The normal undeads, which made me doubt the fact that there were stronger creatures here.

On the second floor, the maze became more complex and confusing, but since I am the god of wisdom that I was, I could read the patterns, memorize the paths I traverse, and create a mind map, which will help us later when I want to get out of this place.

There were no new monsters and creatures, although I noticed that the monsters on this floor were a little stronger, but I did not find any treasure boxes or valuables which made me realize that either Evaldi was storing his treasures in his workshop, or that he was Very poor, and this is what I doubt.

Anyway, on the third floor I began to encounter a new kind of enemy, homunculus, unlike the kind that possessed the intelligence and appearance of humans in Olympus, the type that I fought here was made of strange white material and its sole aim was to kill all intruders. What I considered a waste of time and money.

Why create something wild like this when I can make something just as powerful, smarter, and more beautiful? Either Evaldi did this in order to anger every other alchemist, or his alchemy art was not good enough that he was satisfied with defective products like this.

However, bearing in mind that we are talking about a alchemist who made Odin himself concern, I would take that blame and say that he did this in order to anger others ... the things I do to cover up others...

On the fourth floor, the only enemy we encountered was a 3-meter-long stone golem, who could control fog and ice and summon Hell Walkers, and he had enhanced durability and strengthened strength relative to his species, and he could repair himself.

While fighting him was difficult and confusing, and he was able to switch between several offensive and defensive modes, which made it extremely difficult to target his core, I was able to read his patterns slowly and managed to destroy his core in the end.

"Well, that was challenging a little bit," I said unconsciously as I crushed the last piece of the Golem core to make sure it never woke up again.

"Oh ... it's good that the dead don't get tired, otherwise I won't be able to move now!" As he began collecting pieces of the shattered crystal core, Fafnir said, It doesn't matter if he's a dwarf or an evil dragon, he's still greedy.

I sighed inwardly and started looking on this floor for a secret entrance of some kind. I could not find anything in the floor, which made me start searching for a button of some kind in the walls. After several minutes of searching I was able to find a piece of compressible bricks, when I did A hidden door in the wall slowly opened.

"Wait here…" I said to my companion on this trip, Fafnir, as I went forward and entered the hidden room, i heard him grumbling but he did not follow me.

Not that I do not want him to see what is there, but if there are any treasures inside, I am sure that Fafnir will try to take it completely, and also, no chemical observations or research will be useful to him, and he will not be able to understand anything.

On the other hand, I am the only person who can draw on Evaldi's research, and I do not believe that the wealth will benefit Fafnir in Heilheim or Niflheim.

The room had walls twenty meters long and forty meters wide, and was full of wooden boxes. There was also a desk full of old papers, a charmed wooden coffin, and a bed.

Since I was the god of wisdom that I was, the first thing I did was gather documents and papers in one pile and put them on top of the desk, where I started examining them.

After several minutes of quick inspection, I discovered several things. The magic of the Bifrost Bridge, which is being used by Heimdall and Odin, could not spy on this workshop, and the method that Evaldi used to harness Nevelheim's power was to contact the realm himself and take advantage from its magical energy to some extent.

While he's already quite strong inside Niflheim, he can hardly harness some of this power in the other worlds. This made me somewhat disappointed, but I could still benefit from this research.

Other documents talk about how these spells were implemented, about Evaldi's experiences, mistakes he made, and how he fixed them.

The boxes contained several common and rare chemical herbs, such as Black Pool Grass and Purple Haze Glass, and I also found two Uru Alloys which means an extra plus for my resources.

When I opened the wooden coffin, I was surprised to find a woman's body in a Valkyrie armor. When using mind magic to read the memories of the corpse, I found that she was among the people who were sent to eliminate Evaldi, Hildr, after the attack failed, he imprisoned her and turned her into a weapon, but she Ultimately dies in the next attack on Evaldi.

Poor woman.

Since this place is a little warmer and there is a bed, maybe I should rest a little.
