6 Ch.5 Long Range Mode

The elevator races underground before passing over a glowing device. The device flashes a bright red light; the elevator wheels began to slow down as it quickly comes to a stop.

"Welcome to the New York Branch everyone, Branch Head Samuel is waiting for your arrival." A man wearing goggles and a white lab coat stands by the elevator entrance staring at the group.

"John if you don't mind escort this one to the testing facility. We need to get all the information on his innocence and body statistics ready for HQ." Michael placed his hand on Thirius shoulder as he walked away leading the others to the branch head's office.

Allen stayed by Thirius, giving the others a thumbs up. "I'll stay with Thirius and give him some coaching along the way."

The two groups split up going down two different hallways.

"So it seems your jew to innocence, am I correct?" John looked at Thirius as he asked a question.

"Yea, this is all new to me; one moment I'm resting in my living room listening to the sounds around. Then out of nowhere a cube flies through my window and out of curiosity I touch it. One thing leads to another, and a large chunk of my apartment is missing with a floating man trying to kill me."

John spits out laughing.

"Ha!" "Ha!" "Haa!"

"Out of all the exorcist I have come across your awakening story had the most action of the others. For the Noah to come to kill you specifically, means there is something about you that is special." As John finished speaking they stopped before two double doors.

"It's going to be me and his job to find out why your so special." John pointed his thumb at Allen before pushing the doors open.

Behind the doors stood a large empty white room. Up on the top wall, stood a glass observation deck.

"You two go inside, I'll head up to the observation room." John left the two boys as he made his way up a flight of stairs to the right.

Allen and Thirius entered the room slowly; the doors closed shut behind them, this made Thirius nervous.

"You sure this isn't a room to lock away crazy people?" Thirius looked at Allen with an uncomfortable smile.

"Don't worry I've been in one of these rooms before. It's a highly reinforced room to allow exorcist to practice with their innocence."

"Alright fellas I'll be activating the recording devices and the training bots, stand by." Allen walked to the edge of the room, leaving Thirius alone in the middle.

"I'll stay over here and supervise you Thirius, so don't worry about any danger." Allen sat down against the wall.

The wall adjacent from the door opened up and out walked 2 sword wielding robots. The robots walked in front of Thirius holding there swords at the ready.

Thirius lifted his hand activating his innocence, the little Phoenix dragon resting on his head jumped into the air and roared.

"Holy Phoenix Dragon, Activate!"

Holy glowed with a bright white light as it began to grow in size.

John began typing away on the computer. After a few seconds the robots begin to approach Thirius cautiously.

"If you won't come to me, then we will make you come. Holy switch to Long Range Mode and release your purifying breath!"

The bluish silver feathers on Holy began to glow a bright light blue. Holy's neck began to expand as a large amount of flames were gathered within its mouth.

The robots changed their stances and began to quickly rush towards Holy.

Thirius noticed the robots getting to close; so he took the chance to focus his mind on slowing the robots down.

Thirius used his telekinetic powers to place a great amount of gravity on their legs, slowing them down.

Allen and John noticed the robots slowing down, this confused them. Having built up enough breath, Holy released his flames, engulfing the area in a sea of silver light.

The robots placed their blades before them trying to block the incoming breath. However, it was not enough to stop the flames from melting their swords and eventually them as well.

"Alright that's enough, release your breath or you'll turn this side of the facility into ash." John's voice sounded from a speaker above.

Holy stopped releasing its flames, then moved beside Thirius, rubbing against him affectionately.

"So your innocence is more of a support innocence. It can create a shield, release waves of energy that push back and burn unfortunate targets, and you can release a powerful breath of energy hot enough to melt refined steel." Allen walked over as he listed the abilities of Thirius's Innocence from the actions he's seen so far.

"There is one other thing Holy can do; she can release large amounts of holy energy to amplify the strength of allies for miles. This energy also can slowly heal injuries, relives fatigue, and coat allies in feathery scales that help defend against attacks."

Allen and John's eyes were opened wide. "Incredible if what you say is true, you would be the ultimate support needed when we fight level three and four Akuma."

Allen walked over to Thirius while scratching his head. "Let's test out that last ability if it's alright with you."

"Sure, Holy Activate 'Sanctified Battlefield!'"

The large Halo behind Holy pulse with energy as a wave of light spread out around the room. Both John and Allen felt a wave of energy enter their body as scales began to appear.

The stress and tiredness from John's previous hours of research quickly disappeared as he felt like he had woken up from a great nap.

Allen looked at his hands, observing the bluish silver scales sprouting around his body. He activated his crown clown and began to scratch at the scales with his metal fingers.

"Siss!" "Siss!" The scratches left white marks on the scales as they began to sizzle. The almost nonexistent wound quickly healed, erasing the already blurry white line.

John began to write down all of the data on Thirius's innocence. Allen brought Thirius outside the room as they made their way to a lab nearby. John quickly had Thirius lay on a table to begin scanning his body. After a few moments of waiting, the device finished and displayed a large amount of information about Thirius's body.
