Ethan's pov...

The next morning I woke up and saw Gwen. She was seating on the chair beside me. she saw me waking up and out of blue hit my broken arm and yelled "don't you dare do that to me again."

Seeing my expression didn't change by her hit. she stopped and grumbled "do you even feel pain or do you like hospitals so much to come again just a month after getting discharged."

Before I can reply we heard "that seems to be the case. Nurses here are quite gorgeous." peter was back after buying lunch for all three of them. He also had bandages on his head. Gwen just made face at him and looked at me again and said.

"why you go back again. you should have escaped with me." Gwen said looking at me.

"For my defence, I had saved a little girl and high schooler boy and you would have only come in way." I replied. Well, I wasn't lying spiderman or not peter was still in high school.

"Even if it's true, don't say that man. she was planning to stay here until you wake up." peter said.

Gwen tighten her grip on my other hand and said "i just don't want to lose more people, close to me." she said gloomily.

It brought back bad memories to me and peter was lost in thoughts too. but I get out of it quickly and said "don't turn all gloomy now. if anything it's you who have to stop to try to meddle in everything. you are the most unpredictable one here."

"He got that right..." I got support from peter for which he received a glare in return.

Then peter tried to change the topic and said "do You know, that black vigilante guy is all over the news from yesterday. The clips of his fight with those drones had went viral all over the contry."

He turned on the tv to watch the news. On tv there was a clip playing. Clip of me destroying dozens of drones with ignite. it's the name I gave to my flames.

then there was a little girl saying i saved last night saying "he said his name is black lotus. he was wearing a white mask with a cool red pattern on the left side..." then she continued to discred what she had seen yesterday to the reporter in her childish way.

Peter can't seem to contain his excitement and said "He was really cool, the attack you had seen was way more beautiful in person. he just came and sliced all the drones in a minute. then immediately went away to save others."

"he's the one from the green disaster I told you about, the black vigilante. it's him." I said.

"So he's the one who fight with hulk and lived. No wonder he's strong." Gwen said. And Then peter went on and on about the black lotus. Soon the evening arrived and Gwen gave me last hug before they both left.

I wasn't in a good state but it wasn't as bad as before too. 10 days max and I will be back at my best again.

General pov...

On the table. there was a file with the title 'The Avengers initiative ' written on it. Someone push the file forward on the table as he said "I'm not fit for average and ironman is. I'm the ironman fury. you can't have one without the other." he was Tony stark.

"this report was personally submitted by Natasha Romanoff, it can't be completely wrong." fury said.

"What's the problem. I even solved previous havock at stark expo. But to say it, I also don't want to become part of your little band too." tony replied.

"you wouldn't have solved that if not for the help of some other people." Fury said with a smirk.

'yeah, that walking black merchandise right. Seriously, what that guy has for black. I like that spider guy more. at least he wasn't too much show off like the black one. why he's still on the news anyway.> tony replied.

"you can't digest him getting more attention than you. it's again confirmed that your assessment report is right." fury said.

"But you can't deny the news. His fight did look like a piece of art. Deadly yet beautiful." fury added.

Tony sneered and asked about him and Fury explain his first appearance at green disasters.

"No one had expected him to appear in New York after all this time." Fury said. Further He explained how he had destroyed more than 20 drones in total and saved many people in a short time.

This shows his efficient work and quick decision-making. He didn't waste a single second on the field. "What's his name again?" tony asked.

"Lotus...Black lotus." fury replied. tony take note of all the details and left but the fury was still seat there mumbling the name again.

After seeing lotus's fight with drones and his quick witts. he knew he must make that man part of his avengers initiative.

With new conviction. he called maria and said. "Put black widow on her the previous mission again and tell her it's code red priority."

Maria's eyes went wide. Code red was only given to the missions which have potential to affect the whole world and have means to bring big changes.

Assessment and finding treatment for tony stark was the only code red mission too.

'Just who the hell is this black lotus?' She thought.

She didn't knew that she had already done multiple background checks on him and knows him very well.

On otherside, Without any clue that a top-class spy was coming after him. Ethan was eating grapes while thinking of the ways to develop his AI.
