13 Anger - ready to flare

General pov...

After Gwen left. Ethan messaged everyone that he was ok And then went to sleep. He didn't wake up until morning. after waking up he started meditation first, to recover faster with help of aura. At school he met others. Among them, he always finds Felicia a little different than others. she looks to know little fighting and she seems to observe more than normal people but that's all.

Peter show Ethan and go toward him and asked "where have you been, man ?"

I replied "just shorting out my thoughts and stuff..."

"You could have picked up a call. at least called back or something. you missed George's funeral too. Gwen was going to report to the police..." peter said.

"she did...and you not got to tell me about being absent at funeral." Ethan replied

"What were you weaning about, I at least didn't got found at home after being absent..." Ethan added

"you don't know anything..." peter argued with confused, giulty like expressions. but Ethan cut him off.

" and I don't even want to, all I know is just one thing. either you short out whatever problem there is with her or jusr get out the way. so you don't hold her from moving forward while sinking in self petty yourself. be strong peter, I don't know about spiderman but peter parker shouldn't break this easy.> Ethan stated and left without waiting for response.

Peter didn't got angry. Ethan didn't shout at him while saying all that. there was no anger or frustration in his voice. he just said those things in a calm, firm tone to give peter a wake-up call...and Peter knew it.

'He doesn't speak that much usually, maybe he really is worried about us.' peter thought and left for class too.

Ethans pov...

A month or so had passed since the oscorp incident had happened but still, all of that is vivid to everyone.

Anyways, for something new, I had applied to get chance in attending the experiment on anti-electron collision by dr.Bruce banner. whose expertise in gamma radiation is well known across the world.

I am a fan of his work, I had met him before, nearly 7 months ago during his lecture at new New York. After the lecture I sneaked in and asked for some pointers from him on recharge-discharge and stability while creating a new radioactive isotope... his knowledge blew my mind he give me more than just pointers, he praised my hypothesis. we also changed contact info with each other.

That encounter is the reason, I got a green flag for attending such a experiment. Which i had applied weeks ago and I'd have arrived at the camp today.

Bruce's assistant Jim Wilson came to pick me up at airport. we talked about dr. banners work the whole way. he also seems to impressed by my intelligence considering I'm just a high schooler.

We reached the experiment site, there were lots of soldiers and military officials present. Well, that's given cause the military was the one funding the experiment.

I didn't waste time, I just put all my luggage in my room and left for the lab. Dr Banner was discussing something with Jim. So I didn't interrupt but he soon found me and said,

"you are here, your hypothesis had impressed me last time but you stillseem to lack patience, don't be hasty, nothing comes fast when it comes to science. well learn as much as you can from tomorrow. You can ask me about your doubts after the experiment."

He didn't wait for me to reply and just left. He looked quite excited but who wouldn't.

Well, time passed fast for me while observing the high-tech equipment and the next day arrived quickly. I met others who came to watch and learn from the experiment. Two women and three men. They were all older than me of course.

Neither they looked suprise seeing highschoole nor they tried to boast in front of me. 'looks like they already realised that the world is not a small place.' I thought.

As experiment was about to begin, a pin drop silence spread in the observing area. everyone's eyes were fixed on the other side of the glass. The experiment started and it seems to go well, after 15 minutes dr. banner instructed Jim to lower the neutron flux. But suddenly Jim started to panic and started shouting.

Banner immediately run toward him and stabilized everything again. everyone released a sigh of relief but the next second the radiation meter went over the roof, banner try to stop the experiment.

From the other side of glass, I was trying to find a way to cut off the whole experiment. But Jim shouted suddenly on the top of his lungs and the next moment the explosion occurred. It shook the whole building but it wasn't able to affect pass through the glass. the glass had cracked from many places but it held on. The panic of seconds ago turned into silence. Nothing was visible on the otherside of the glass. Because of black smoke of explosion. But everyone knew what had happened and had a grime expressions on their faces.

I quickly used aura and tried to sense the other side but I only able sense one person alive. But for my surprise he didn't seem like a banner or Jim.

'Did i sense wrong?' I thought.

But soldiers came running toward us, disturbing my focus and started to evacuate the place. but I used the auras stealth skill in which I can conceal my aura so no one can sense my presence at all, so they can't find me as long as they don't see me directly.

So I was just waiting stealthily, I didn't think about fighting. it wasn't an attack after all but the next thing that happened changed my mind completely. Not only there will be fight but a deadly one at that.

Cause what I saw was that thr creaked glass suddenly shattered and an angry roar came from the lab. Green eyes shined in black smoke, Sending chills to everyone present. With help of aura i enhanced my eyesight and watched beyond the smoke. I saw something in that smoke that will always stay marked in my memories.

I saw a green giant, with muscles busting out. his size alone was enough to scare anyone, but the worst thing was he had anger. A beast-like expression, in his eyes, a rage to destroy everything to its last beat. Anger that's ready to flare.
