1 Chapter 1

Oh is that the sound of the bell? Guess I should wake up before the teacher yells at me.

"Oi! Seryuu! You wanna come over play video games later?" That's my best friend Tenma, he is of average height with black hair and brown eyes.

"Not today Tenma, I have to help my mom sorry." Tenma looked a little sad but brightened up afterwards.

"No, it's alright! You should help your mom, whenever you're free come over though!" Tenma said as he ran out of the class leaving me alone. In truth, my mom doesn't need help I just wanted to be left alone as today a new Marvel Comic drops. Oh wait I forgot to introduce myself.

My name is Seryuu Hashimoto, and I like Marvel Comics and anime. I wouldn't call myself ugly nor handsome, one thing that sticks out about me is my blue eyes. My father is from Finland and my mother is Japanese making me half Finnish and half Japanese. I really like Marvel Comics due to my grandfather having a huge collection of them. When he died, he passed on his collection to me and I've been adding to that collection ever since his death.

Since school is over, I can finally go buy the comic that was just released. I have no favorite superhero but my favorite character is Scarlet Witch. Her powers are really cool and I wouldn't mind dying if it meant having her powers. Anyways, the walk from school and the comic book store isn't too far I could probably make it there in around 5 minutes.

You know, I think the sky is really beautiful. I mean the blue sky and white clouds with the numerous birds flying around makes me really enjoy life. Oh, I can cross now. You know what's very scary to hear as you're walking across the street? A horn, specifically a truck horn.

"HONNNKKKK!!" A large white truck honked and made contact with my fragile human body. I was flung into a pole and then everything went black. After everything went black I think I was floating or drifting along something. It was a rather nice feeling but was very boring considering I couldn't see, or feel anything.

Drifting, Drifting. I think I've been drifting for a long time, I didn't think it was necessary to count. As I continued to drift I think I collided with something. That something must have been important because I can feel once again. Although I think I'm in some sort of liquid, not very fun. I stayed in that liquid for a while until I felt the need to leave.

C'mon push! I can finally leave this liquid and be free! I encouraged myself and I finally left that liquid and finally saw for the first time in I don't even know how long. My only problem is that everything is so big! As I looked down I finally saw why everything was so big.

Small scaly claws? Red scales? I think I'm a dragon, sounds really cool but I don't see a parent in sight. Which means I'm alone and weak, that's a fucking problem. Sorry for my language, it's just that my life is at stake and I already died once. Wouldn't want to die again without me even experiencing anything. I heard reptiles eat their eggs for protein and other reasons I could care less about. As I crawl out of my egg I estimate my length to be around 2 feet. My wings are pretty large although I don't think they are capable of flight yet.

Anyways, the egg doesn't taste that bad, and as I finished I felt something inside of me change. I started to hear things inside of my head. Not voices but something akin to growls. I can understand these growls and I hear them from a 5-meter radius around me. Anything further than that it's all muffled.

'Hungry, food. Food, small lizard. Me food eat!' That was one of the mental growls I can hear and understand. Wait, I think that was meant for me! A brown scaled reptile was running towards me and I also began to run. I wasn't going to let myself get eaten, I haven't even survived the first day!

'Food run! Me get food! No run from me!' I understand that this is a dinosaur talking but couldn't it be a little more intelligent? Focus! As I ran through the forest my newborn body reached its limits and I tripped over a tree root.

'Food finally stop running! Me very tired of chasing food.' I will not allow myself to be killed by a dumbass! As the brown reptile stood above me and opened its jaws I felt as if I gained another pair of hands. These hands gripped the dinosaur's jaws and clenched them shut.

'Why mouth no open!? Mouth broken?' I think I have figured out my two abilities. Telepathy and Telekinesis, no wonder I could hear the thoughts of a dinosaur. I guess the pair of hands I felt is my telekinesis. I should kill this dinosaur as I can feel my telekinesis getting weaker. I made the hands grip the dinosaur's neck and squeeze. A loud crunch could be heard and the dinosaur went limp. The hands seemed to fade away and I immediately felt hungry. I really don't wanna eat something raw especially a dinosaur but survival comes first. I bit into the dinosaur and was surprised that it didn't taste disgusting. I continued eating the dinosaur until there was nothing but bones left, guess I was hungry?

Now that I know what my abilities are, I wonder what universe I was reincarnated in. I know it's not my original universe because I'm a dragon with telepathic and telekinetic powers. I really hope I'm in Marvel but DC isn't that bad. I'll think about this later, I have surviving to do. I left the area where the dinosaur was killed and decided to roam around, hearing voices isn't fun though. I want to test my limits so I used my TK on a tree and tried to uproot it. I used my TK to its limits but the tree didn't budge, guess that means lifting a tree is out of my league for now. After exerting my TK to its limits I felt hungry again, perhaps I should attract attention to myself?

"RAH!" I'm embarrassed. That was my futile attempt at a roar, and I won't roar again until I get bigger.

'Me smell prey, heard roar. Prey near, good food, good prey, no find food so good find.' Looks like my bait worked, hunting will be easy if I keep doing this. Here it comes, I can hear its footsteps. Holy shit, that's a big dinosaur. What came out of the forest was a giant blue dinosaur with giant claws and huge teeth.

'No prey, only little snack. Hungry so will eat anyway!' Is that thing even a dinosaur?! It's coming! I started to run again because getting eaten isn't on my to-do list. The dinosaur started to gain on me and tried flapping my wings to give me a boost, it didn't work. The dinosaur caught up to me and clenched its crushing jaws against my tail. I have never been in so much pain in my life.

"RAHHH!" The pain was unbearable, I think the dinosaur ripped my tail off along with some other limbs on the bottom half of my body. Damn, I thought I would survive longer than a few hours. The dinosaur clenched its jaws on my head and everything went black again. Looks like I'll be drifting again, maybe I should count how long I'll be drifting for.

Wait? What is that light? The light consumed me and I woke up again back in the same spot I died. Did I just respawn? I think I did respawn, I feel stronger too. My scales are darker and look more durable, I think I grew a few feet I estimate I'm around 6ft long now and around 2ft tall. My TK and TP feel a lot stronger, if I were to fight that giant dinosaur now I don't think I would even have to run.

If I connect the dots that means whatever kills me I adapt and overcome my past weakness. That's incredibly overpowered, cool!

Now let's continue surviving!
