34 34. Serum's Initial Success

"How is it?"

Connor asked Adam who was looking at a vial of green liquid nervously.

Adam exclaimed, "Amazing. Peter's blood stabilised the serum almost immediately."

Connor was excited and relieved, "So the key was in Peter. Parker was a brilliant scientist, he must have known something was coming so he hid the core of his research in his son's blood."

Both of them did a few more experiments and analysed the effects of the serum.

Connor said while looking through the structure of the serum, his voice sounded excited, "Peter's blood locks in every single molecule. It's like a binder. If we can synthesize a chemical solution to replace his blood then limb regeneration won't be a dream anymore."

Adam nodded, "That's good. You work on that, I need to find a way to increase the effects of the serum."

Connor was confused, "Why do you need to increase it by that much? If it's for Harry then I believe three fold is enough, we can achieve that."

Adam shook his head, "Harry is young and inexperienced. He might be doing good now but the kind of enemies he will face in the future will be far different from the past. So I must give him something he can rely on."

He wanted to help Harry get started to chakra but his body was too weak and he might die during the process. So he could only put that thought on hold and try something else.

Connor nodded after hearing him, "I will get on with the substitute agent."

He quickly went to his desk and started his work. Adam smiled and resumed his own work.

Adam was walking back home when he came across a news stand. His eyes caught onto a piece of news.

"TONY STARK MISSING!!"

The front page of the paper was fully occupied by these big bold letters. His pupils shrunk when he saw this news.

Gears of destiny are starting to move. Thinking to himself he walked away.

When he reached home he saw Frank wiping the tables. As he was about to go upstairs Frank signalled him to come over.

Adam was curious, they found a place far from William and Georgia.

Frank spoke, "The higher-ups want a favour from you?"

Adam was interested, "What kind of favour?"

Frank slid a picture across the table, Adam looked it over and was surprised, "Stark?"

Frank nodded, "They want you to help look for him."

Adam raised an eyebrow, "And what makes them think I can find him?"

Frank shook his head, "I don't know. Maybe they are using every option they have."

Adam nodded, "Sounds plausible."

Frank looked at him silently and waited.

Adam thought for a moment and agreed, "Alright, I agree. Get me some of his blood and a lift to where he went missing. Also tell them they owe me a favour."

"Ok."

Frank agreed and went out to make a call.

Soon a parcel was delivered to the shop. Frank handed it to Adam and said, "We leave in thirty minutes."

Taking the parcel Adam went to his room. Closing the door he called out the system interface.

>Seal Ink Chalk, 10 Piece (1 RP)

He confirmed his choice. A bunch of yellow paper and a stack of black chalk appeared in his hand.

He placed the ten seal papers neatly on his desk and started to scribble on them using the black chalk. Soon he drew complicated seals on all ten of them.

He put down the chalk and took out the parcel. Inside it was Tony Stark's blood. He did a few hand seal and poured the blood evenly on all ten papers.

The yellow paper glowed with a bloody light and returned to normal. However a red circle now appeared in the middle of the paper.

This was a particular seal he modified after coming across the Caged Bird seal in the Fuiinjutsu section.

It's use was pretty simple, to find people with the same blood origin.

Finishing his preparation Adam left a shadow clone in his place and left. Frank was waiting for him a couple of blocks away.

Adam was dressed in his ninja outfit.

When he reached Frank he saw an army jeep parked next to him. Few soldiers were tanding next to Frank, and standing beside him was a black man.

Seeing Adam Frank introduced him to the black man, "This is Lieutenant. James Rhodey."

Adam shook his hand, Rhodey was curious towards this man but the matter at hand was urgent, "Thanks for you help. Let's get moving!"

He ordered his men. Soon they started to move and reached an airfield where a large military plane was standing by.

This was the first time Adam was seeing a real life military plane. He was curious and looked around. Soon the plane took off.

Rhodey pulled out a notebook, on it was a map, he pointed to a spot and said, "This is where Tony was hit. We don't know who did it but they vanished when reinforcements got there."

Adam nodded, "Drop me there, and give a communication device."

Rhodey signalled to his men who gave Adam a small device, "Anything else."

Adam shook his head.

Half a day of flying and they reached the jump off location.

Adam was strapped in, Rhodey signalled to him and he jumped off. This was a fresh feeling for him. The wind rushing past him made him feel free and alive.

Whoooo!

He yelled loudly. When it was time he pulled the chute. His rapid descend abruptly slowed down.

Landing on the loose soil he removed the chute and looked around. Sand stretched out as far as the eye can see.

He waited no further and took out one of the seal. Complicated black patterns filled its surface with a red circle on the center. He channeled his chakra into it.

The paper caught on fire and burned away. The ash floated in mid air and formed a circle with a needle pointing in one direction.

He didn't waste any time and rushed off in that direction.
