As a Kryptonian

<Author/translator note: the first 12 chapters of this novel are translated from the chinese version of this novel, and starting at 13 I branch off the story into my own fanfic. "Don't!"

Zod fell to his knees as if he were about to die. It took a while before he could react again.

"What happpend? Did I cross over again?"

Zod looked around to reorient himself and saw a desert with a small field of green.

The field of green was a farm filled with corn for acres.

"Is this Earth?"

Zod reacted again when he saw the corn crops. Did he reach Earth and according to the timeline Clark grew up?

Zod was a regular human who transmigrated into a kryptonian. After knowing he was a kryptonian for the first time he was madly excited. This is a super race with a whole list of amazing abilities!

Their abilities include super strength, super speed, super endurance, super abilities, flight, basically invulnerable body and others like laser beam eyes and freeze breath.

Their genes are very flexible, and the upper limit is so high that they are almost invulnerable.

Because of the lighter gravity of Earth and the nutritional sun rays they gain extroardanary abilities that sets them apart from normal people.

Solar radiation will fill the kryptonian body with energy, thereby boosting their muscle strength and amplifying their senses. Their super powers come from the huge amount of stored solar energy which gives them abilities like x-ray sight, super hearing and so forth.

Although Zod has the same name as General Zod their surnames are different. Zod's full name is Heath-Zod and not the general name which is Dru-Zod.

Their looks are different. Zod is considered tall and handsome among the kryptonians. He is 1.9 meters tall with strong muscle lines that is as perfect as a Greek sculpture. Different from Clark his build leans more towards agility and not as bulky and strong as Clark. However, as a kryptonian the difference doesn't matter when it comes to body shape.

As soon as Zod crossed over to become a newborn of Krypton he faced the problem of the destruction of Krypton. He did not want to become space dust and tried to break free of the rules many times but was suppressed just like General Zod. Fortunately, Heath-Zod has a influential father who was able to stop him from being banished to the phantom zone.

When Kal-El was born, Heath ventured into the central birthing unit and stole the gene codex before Kal's father and injected it into his body. The council hunted him down while krypton was being destroyed and a big explosion pulled him in. While he was unwilling, a wormhole was created, and he was dragged along before disappearing.

"Now I need to know where I am. Hopefully it's not near Gotham City or Metropolis."

Zod barely knew domestic cities, let alone foreign ones. He belongs to the kind of people who get lost in his own city. Of course, he can remember roads as long as he has driven on them a few times.

He walked to the farm and noticed a middle-aged man working hard in the cornfield at the same time the man noticed him.

"Stay still, who are you?!"

The middle aged man was planning to unholster his revolver but was stunned when he saw Zod's outfit.

Where is this big person from?

Although he was wearing a strange black armor, Zod looked like a white man so he was just a little wary.

After all, this is Texas. A few tens of kilometers further south is the US-Mexico border. Mexican smugglers are digging holes at the border like groundhogs, Mexican gangs, drug mules, etc. This sparsely populated piece of land has been out of the control of the police all the time.

Zod frowned. Staying in Krypton for so long he barely remembers the country's surroundings. As long as he knows English though, he can still figure out later.

In the end, he chose to learn more about the world from the middle-aged man.

After asking about the strangely named cities Metropolis and Gotham City without the man recognizing it, he did not know which world he came to.

The middle-aged man's name is Shelley Judley who is a native of Washington D.C. The reason he is so far away from the big city to be a farmer is because he lost his job. In order to support his daughter to go to college he moved to Texas to take over the farm his father left him.

"Texas is famous in America"

Zod had a weird face when he realized he was in Texas. Texas has a high level of gun ownership and loose gun laws, making it a place with many gun stores.

In the underworld of Houston there are often cases of people robbing shops with guns and the crime rate of Houston has remained in the top 10 cities in the U.S.

And Zod is now in the most chaotic place in Texas, the U.S.-Mexico border.

Fortunately, Zod has the armor and does not need to worry about safety for the time being so he deactivated the helmet.

Just like General Zod in the movie he immediately felt the sensory overload.

Countless information flooded into his brain and it felt like falling into the ocean and being submerged in water, suffocating. Fortunately, he quickly adapted.
