Chapter 199: X-Men's Defeat

"Yo, Jean, did you finally get the drone working or not? We've been sitting here for, like, fifteen minutes already doing nothing but watching you fiddle around with the controls." Asked Kurt lightly with a frown as he stared at Jean in slight annoyance, prompting her to quickly glance at him.

"Sorry, but I'm working on it; it's my first time using this drone, so I don't know exactly what to do." Replied Jean sarcastically as she focused on the control panel and grumbled under her breath, causing Kurt to sigh and shake his head.

"Haa, we're not going to watch anything, it seems." Muttered Kurt quietly as he bowed his head in defeat, causing Jean's face to constantly twitch in annoyance.

"Jean, do you want me to help you?" Asked Scott softly as he sat beside Kurt, his hands and parts of his body covered in bandages.

"Press the green button, then the pink button, and flip the black switch." Said Eloise, sitting by herself on a couch off to the side while gazing at Jean's butt with a lustful desire.

Listening to Eliose's advice, I did as I was told, and when I finally flipped the black switch, the TV came to life; no longer was it constantly buzzing in static as it had been for nearly ten minutes.

"Hehe, got it! Thanks, Eloise." Said Jean with a victorious smile as she gave Eloise a thumbs up before focusing on the tv while fiddling around with the controls.

Once I ensured everything was working smoothly, I grabbed the remote control for the drone and walked toward Eloise before sitting beside her while controlling the drone from a distance.

"Y-Your welcome." Replied Eloise softly as she glanced at Jean's, causing her to audibly gulp while ogling her with a perverted glint.

"Alright, quickly get us to the action, Jean!" Remarked Kurt enthusiastically as he stared at Jean before intently focusing on the TV screen, which was currently showing the blackbird in Egypt.

"I will; it'll just take a second. I need to first find where the action is at." Remarked Jean lightly as she turned the drone around, only to see a large metallic pyramid to be seen falling through the sky, causing everyone to momentarily freeze.

"I think you found the action." Muttered Eloise with a frown as she and everyone else intently gazed at the pyramid.

"Y-Yeah, t-that looks like action to me." Said Jean softly with a nod as she controlled the drone to fly higher, only to watch as the pyramid collided with the Earth, releasing a large amount of energy that destroyed roughly the entire city while creating a large dust cloud.

"I-I'm surprised the drone withstood that," said Scott lightly, earning a nod from Kurt and Jean while the latter controlled the drone to fly closer to the pyramid.

"Rouge and that woman had slowed down the pyramid; otherwise, let alone the drone, most of Africa along with a large portion of Europe would've been obliterated." Stated Eloise lightly as she folded her arms while watching the TV with a solemn expression.

Fly the drone closer; once it arrived near the battlefield, I saw Apocalypse emerge from a hole in the ground while Tut, Captain Marvel, and the X-men stood opposite of him. However, Apocalypse suddenly looked directly at us, causing me to flinch since, despite three other people besides me, I knew he was looking at me.

"Come to me, Host of the Phoenix Force, and I shall spare their lives, for I am a benevolent God." Said Apocalypse while staring through the drone and at Jean, who bit her lip while tightly clenching the controller, causing wisps of ethereal flames to emerge from her body.

"She's not coming to you, and you're not killing us either; how about you surrender instead? It'll make this easier on all of us." Stated Pharaoh solemnly as he flew forward while glancing at the drone, causing Jean to smile softly.

Hearing Tut's voice greatly helped alleviate the fear and anger I felt from Apocalypse as I calmed myself and regained my composure before shaking my head, only to focus back on the TV.

After their little speech, they immediately lunged into battle, though Apocalypse kept switching places with everyone, causing them to nearly attack or injure their teammates, while Tut was slashed by Wolverine and punched by Captain Marvel, causing me to slightly wince in pain as I'm confident if either of them hit me, I would've died without much resistance.

"Woah, that's fucking awesome; you need to try that with Wolverine, Scott. That could be like your guy's secret special move or something." Remarked Kurt in awe as he watched Wolverine redirect Tut's heat vision to hit Apocalypse, causing Scott to softy scoff in annoyance while glancing at Jean, who was looking at Tut in adoration, only to clench his fist angrily.

After Tut and Wolverine's spectacular little combo move, they briefly gained the upper hand against Apocalypse. Colossus had even hit him so hard he broke his wrist, which caused me to slightly wince in pain even though I was merely watching, yet I couldn't help but cheer.

"Haha, yes!" Said Jean with a large smile as she pumped her fist in the air while Eloise and Kurt smiled, leaving only the angry Scott to glare at Tut through the TV.

Despite Apocalypse's ability to switch places with people, he was beginning to be overpowered by their combined might; however, all of a sudden, the ground where Tut and Colossus were standing erupted into a massive explosion thanks to Apocalypse, though Tut had reacted quickly and managed to blow Colossus out of immediate danger, forcing him to get hit with the aftereffects, which he shrugged off without much problem, and as for Tut, he was perfectly fine.

"Heh, is it just me, or is this Apocalypse not as strong as everyone made him out to be?" Asked Kurt with a slightly proud smirk while watching the battle, only for Eloise to sigh while rubbing her head.

"Haa, great; you just ruined everything, Kurt." Said Eloise softly as she rubbed her head in frustration, causing Kurt to tilt his head, only for them to suddenly focus back onto the TV when they heard several grunts of pain.

"O-Oh dear, s-she's still alive, right?" Asked Jean in worry as she covered her mouth while looking at Carol's limbs get contorted into pretzels before Apocalypse violently punched her into the ground, causing the entire ground to rubble.

Following Captain Marvel's brutal defeat, Tut quickly arrived with an angry roar as he and Bobby held Apocalypse busy while Tut carried Captain Marvel to safety, leaving the X-men all alone, which proved to be a fatal mistake. Without Tut and Carol's intervention, one by one, the X-men were defeated so brutally savagely that I could hardly even watch.

I watched Apocalypse switch places with Colossus, who attacked him, only for his fist to be caught and for Apocalypse to retaliate with a mighty punch to the face that was so powerful that Colossus's arm was promptly ripped off, only for him to lie there motionless after Apocalypse violently hit him with his own arm. Rogue, who must've absorbed some of Tut's power, blasted him with heat vision, but he redirected it toward Bobby, who created a wall of ice to stop it while Kitty rained toward Colossus's body.

Once Rogue stopped using her heat vision, Apocalypse raised his hand at Bobby, causing him to slam through his own ice wall before being held in Apocalypse's hand, only for him to be punched numerous times in the face until it was a bloody mess; he then slammed Bobby face first into the ground, finishing it off by waving his hand, causing one of Bobby's legs to break in multiple places.

Wolverine quickly came from behind and tried stabbing him with his claws, only for Apocalypse to suddenly switch places with Kitty, who was too busy checking upon Colossus to turn intangible, causing her to be promptly stabbed through by Wolverine, who was then swiftly bound by numerous iron rebar and then thrown into the distance.

Rogue, this time, tried to punch him, but Apocalypse caught it before twisting her arm upwards, breaking it before flinging her away, causing Gambit to yell angrily while he and Beast charged towards him. Apocalypse raised his arm at them, only for it to suddenly morph into some sort of futuristic sci-fi energy cannon, and seeing that, Beast dived to the side, pushing Gambit out of the way, only for a precise energy wave to hit Beast in the face, disintegrating all of his lower jaws as he bled everywhere, though before he could do anything, several glowing cards him in the chest after Apocalypse had diverted them.

With Gambit and Rogue being the final two X-men remaining, they did their best, but Apocalypse simply waved his hand at Rogue, slamming her to the ground while Gambit hit him on the side of his with his bo-staff, only for Apocalypse to lightly touch his stomach, filing him several meters through the air. However, that wasn't all, as Apocalypse then grabbed the bo-staff he had left behind before powerfully chucking toward Gambit, causing it to stab right through his body and embed itself into the rocky ground.

Despite how long it sounded, all of that merely happened without half a minute, and by the time Tut finally arrived, the only one still standing was Rogue, but even then, she couldn't even move.
