155 Chapter 154: Battle Is Finally Over?

frown as he eyed Stark before dropping Faora and Zod onto the ground before stepping forward and picking up the space pod.

"Which one is the phantom drive?" Asked Pharaoh as he looked at the side of the space pod, which had its hull removed, exposing all the intricate and delicate parts.

"This one." Replied Stark as he gently rested his finger on a small, glowing metallic sphere, causing Pharaoh to raise an eyebrow before glancing at him.

"That's it? It's not connected to anything, though; it doesn't even look like it's supposed to connect to anything." Remarked Pharaoh skeptically as he eyed Tony, who frowned and folded his arms.

"What do you want me to say? This is Alien technology thousands of years more advanced than ours; it was a pain just to find it; now you want me to explain it?" Replied Tony with furrowed brows as he eyed Pharaoh in slight annoyance, causing him to raise his hands defensively.

"I'm just making sure I'm not like you, who builds human-sized flying tanks, so I don't know what the fuck I'm looking at; besides, I need to make sure, we've got one shot at all of this after all." Said Pharaoh lightly as he looked at Stark, who squinted his eyes lightly before nodding, only for Carol to approach them while slapping Pharaoh's back.

"C'mon, you boys going to continue having this little friendly conversation, or can we send these people back to the phantom dimension, whatever that place is; that device is still running." Remarked Carol seriously as she gave Tony a surprised look before glancing at Pharaoh, who turned around and nodded.

Now that I knew what the phantom drive looked like, I was able to quickly pinpoint and locate it in the Black Zero, and it was a good thing I knew what it looked like since, if I was forced to guess randomly, I definitely wouldn't have picked the pulsing white sphere, which was only about a foot in diameter, yet it was outputting enough energy to power a spaceship while it slowly terraformed Earth.

"I found it; hopefully, I'll be right back. Stark, I suggest backing away to a safer distance; I've got no idea how big this explosion is about to be." Said Pharaoh solemnly as he squinted his eyes before glancing back at Tony, whose face was covered by his helmet while he shot off into the air, flying a good distance away.

Grabbing Faora, I tossed her into the space pod while Carol helped me put Zod and Nam-Ek onto my shoulder as we floated into the air, flying right for the Black Zero and quickly entering the distorted gravity field. Approaching where the beam was emerging from, I floated in the air next to it as I used my heat vision to cut a hole through the Black Zero while purposely avoiding the phantom drive.

Ripping the hull out, I looked up, eying the phantom drive through the decently cleared pathway for the space pod to fly right through; placing the front of the space pod into the hole, I gave Carol a look, prompting her to frown before flying away, not nearly as far as Stark, but at least out of the Black Zero's range.

"Haa, here goes nothing." Muttered Pharaoh as he eyed the phantom drive before flinging his space pod, carrying Faora through the shute he made, followed by throwing both Zod and Nam-Ek into the hole after the space pod, though there was a bit of a mishap.

Just as I went to toss Zod into the hole, Nam-Ek woke up and quickly lunged off of me, catching me by surprise since I had thought he was still unconscious as neither the rhythm of his beating heart nor his breathing had changed; I was about to chase after him and toss him back into the phantom dimension, but just as I turned around, I heard a crack, followed by a massive explosion.

I didn't bother looking back as I knew it was too late for Nam-Ek; flying away, I was suddenly bombarded with a massive gravitational force, far greater than I'd ever felt before; not even Jupiter's gravity could compare to what I felt. My body felt thousands if not millions of times heavier as I got sucked towards the singularity behind me, prompting me to push harder as I flew faster and faster, yet despite pushing myself far harder than I'd ever done before, I was still getting sucked into the singularity.

'C'mon, Pharaoh! Use the strength you've never been forced to use!' Thought Pharaoh with a hardened gaze as he outstretched his arms before him, pushing himself even harder.

All around me, everything slowed down as I pushed myself to use more and more strength to resist the pull of the singularity before, eventually, I could vividly see each individual photon flying about before me. It was a mesmerizing sight, but I had more pressing matters since I had finally felt myself resisting the singularity's pull after giving it nearly everything I had to fly away.

After a few more moments of straining myself, the gravity suddenly vanished, causing me to speedily shoot off through the sky, and when I finally stopped a second later, I noticed I was no longer on Earth.

'Woah, I made it here in record time.' Thought Pharaoh as he floated a few feet above the moon before turning around and staring at the Earth.

Honestly, I was pretty surprised at myself; I've never really pushed myself like I had just done; even when I fly around the solar system occasionally, I usually do so at a comfortable speed. Knowing I could fly as fast as light was, well, not something I would ever think I could do, mainly because I wouldn't ever stupidly put myself in a situation where I needed to fly at the speed of light.

'Maybe, maybe I should start to do that; it's dangerous, but if I can fly as fast as the speed of light when I really push myself, what else can I do when I give my all?' Mused Pharaoh with a faint smile as he looked back at Earth, only to frown when he saw Nam-Ek was still alive somehow.

Sighing to myself at what was about to come, I launched back towards Earth, arriving back in New York a few moments later, with a clear sky without a massive spaceship blocking its sight.

Heading towards Carol, who was standing atop Nam-Ek, preventing him from moving, while the sun's exposure healed him of any injury.

"Heh, you were moving quite fast there, Pharaoh. We should have a race in the future." Remarked Carol with a faint smirk as he eyed Pharaoh, who wryly smiled before shaking his head, only to adorn a solemn expression while eyeing Nam-Ek.

"So, what should we do with him? Any ideas?" Added Carol as she gazed back at Nam-Ek while frowning.

Standing beside Nam-Ek, I looked down at him, and I couldn't help but sigh; he would've lived if he had gone into the phantom dimension. I can't allow someone like him to roam Earth freely, though I was still going to uphold my moral belief that everyone gets a second chance.

"Nam-Ek, surrender yourself; everyone has been sent back to the phantom dimension; you're the last remaining Kryptonian besides me. Give up-" Stated Pharaoh as he squatted beside Nam-El, only to be blasted with heat vision, interrupting his speech.

"I'm a Kryptonian warrior, born to protect and fight for Krypton; just like my General, I shall never surrender! Definitely not to a traitor such as yourself!" Declared Nam-Ek in an incredibly deep voice while continuously blasting Pharaoh with heat vision.

"Haa, yeah, I thought so." Muttered Pharaoh with a sigh as he blocked Nam-Ek's heat vision with the palm of his hand before covering his eyes.

Forcefully lifting Nam-Ek off of Carol's foot, I grabbed his head with both of my hands before gritting my teeth and violently snapping his neck, causing a shockwave to erupt as Nam-Ek collapsed on the ground while his head faced backward, looking at me.

Grabbing Nam-Ek's leg, I tossed him into orbit, away from the populace of the Earth; they didn't need the body of a Kryptonian nor the technology of Krypton, though I'll deal with those terraforming machines later.

"Haa, it's all finished, Fury; everything has ended. Can you tell your stupid council to call off the missile now?" Remarked Pharaoh with a sigh of mental exhaustion as he sat on the ground before looking up at the News Seven helicopter.

"I'm trying to get a hold of them right now, but they're being stubborn and refusing to answer my calls; you're going to have to deal with it." Replied Fury, with a furious expression as he stood in a black room with a single pedestal in the center while eyeing the walls.

"Fury, please tell me you're joking? The Black Zero has disappeared, the Kryptonians are gone, and I've killed Nam-Ek; the battle is over." Stated Pharaoh with a frown as his voice progressively got angrier by the second while he slowly stood up, Carol standing beside him with Stark landing next to them.

"Am I the kind of person who jokes about something like that?" Replied Fury coldly as he clenched his fist before turning around and walking out of the room.

"Haa, what's going on now?" Asked Stark with an annoyed yet severe expression as he looked at Pharaoh, who was angrily gnashing his teeth.
