Chapter 1 - The Beginning

It all started in 2nd grade when my teacher said we were going to learn about space for our next unit. I was sick and tired of science class and didn't want to do more of it. I was on my way home and on the news there was talk about how they were going to send a man to the moon. I thought this wasn't going to happen so I sat back on the couch and my brother turned the TV off and that's where it hit me, an astronaut would get paid a lot of money to go to space and not to mention the fame. You see all these kids called me a geek because of my love for math, and soon they'll be laughing at themselves when I become the first man on the Moon.
