2 Wang Yuxian

(Chu Feng's PoV)

As soon as I opened my eyes I could see the stunned expression on Wang Yuxian's face but I couldn't care about that at the moment. I was feeling the power equivalent to that of 1st rank Martial Exalted. I thought that since there was a watershed between rank 4 and rank 5 Dragon transformation sensation and wasn't sure if I could exert marital exalted level spirit power. Well, I clearly underestimated the power of Nine dragon saint cloak. This sensation of control over local space and this massive power is truly exhilarating.

Through out my journey from lower realm to upper realms I could clearly sense the increase of natural energies and laws surrounding the space. I know this is just the result of gaining an increase in strength but this is the first time I truly felt powerful after my ascension to upper realms.

I could sense the cultivation of Wang Yuxian which was 2nd rank martial exalted. If she was at the same cultivation level I was confident in defeating her. I am sure she could increase her cultivation to 3rd rank martial exalted so there was still a significant gap in our strength.

I smile and asked her, "You seem very surprised."

She nodded and to my surprise smiled, " You seem to have gained a lot from your session. There were moments I wanted to intervene but since you asked me not to I could only watch you contort in pain. Whatever pain you went through seems to be worth it. What was that surge in spirit power that I sensed? Even if my cultivation was higher than yours I still felt a sense of oppression for a few moments. "

She was acting completely different for the stoic polite girl that I brought in. I wondered why I was surprised by her behaviour since I already knew about her from her story. I seem to have a few merging issues. Well, nothing I can't fix.

I smiled at her playfully, "So you can act like a little girl. And here I though you were this stoic and polite genius"

She put her tongue out with a mischievous expression and told me that she only feels comfortable acting like herself around her master and another person. But somehow she feels she can be herself in my presence. Also she asked me to call her Lele.

I knew about who the third person was but I wasn't about to spoil it. Right now I had to make up something to quell her curiosity about my sudden gain in strength.

"Coming back to your question I actually participated in an event a while back in the holy light galaxy. It occurred in a place called Ancient era Spirit territory It was a gathering of all the renowned world spiritists all the star fields of holy light galaxy. Long story short only the younger generation could participate in the trial setup by the ancient era expert. But the reward of the trial could be enjoyed by all the other behind the youngster. Needless to say I cleared the trial and got the resources that I use for the past two and half months." I skipped most of it and made up some but I think I sold it.

For the next few days or so I ate the fruits Lele brought and had many interesting conversations with her especially about my journey until now. She really liked listening to my stories. There was one particular conversation

I was curious about something and decided to 'educated' her in worldly affairs. I call her and asked her to sit down.

" There is something I wanted to ask you. What do you think of holy light galaxy? What do you think of the strength of cultivators there? Answer me honestly." I asked her.

She looked puzzled but composed herself and answered,"Before meeting you I thought it was a desolated place which was inferior in strength and resources. Whether it was the older generation or the younger generation I thought there was a huge gap in strength. But seeing you made me understand that it was not the case."

I then went on to say, "Let me tell you something and I am being completely honest when I say this. Like anywhere in the outer world there is a gap between modern era cultivators and ancient era cultivators. It's just that ancient era cultivators usually don't come outside and interfere with modern era cultivators. The live in their own spaces and rarely interact with others. However, the strength of these ancient era experts is truly frightening. There is an ancient era clan in the holy light galaxy whose strength far exceeds the holy light clan. In fact there are ancient era experts in the holy light galaxy whose strength even exceeds the nine soul sacred clan. It's just these experts are rather reclusive and don't expose themselves."

I paused for a few moments to let her digest what I said and then continued, "In fact even amongst the modern era cultivators there are powerhouses that could possibly compete with the top experts of nine soul galaxy (I was talking about Old man Compliance). It's just that they don't come out in the open. Otherwise do you really think a trivial holy light clan can subdue them.(to the present me they are indeed trivial. If want to I could increase my strength to same level as that old fart shengguan xuanye). I once met a expert like that and he told me he was in holy light galaxy looking for something and once he obtains that he will leave the galaxy."

I could tell that she was having a hard time believing what I was saying. She was also quietly pondering on what I just said. She then said, "It's hard to believe there are such strong experts in a place like that but my master told me that true experts often don't flaunt their strength and no one should be underestimated."

I smile and thought to myself 'looks like I didn't give enough credit to her master'

I then told her about some of my experiences in hundred ordinary realm. I deliberately told her about some of my more painful encounters so she could understand my substantial gain in both experience and mental fortitude after surviving those encounters. This may be a bit manipulative of me but well it had to done. I started to care for this little girl and wanted her to break out her shell slowly.

The days went by and it was finally the day we were going out of this formation. I had enough martial comprehension to breakthrough 6th rank utmost exalted but I am lacking in world energies. Nothing I can do about that. It's now like I don't have an alternative so I am not worried.

(Third person POV)

When both chu feng and wang yuxian came out of the formation the first person to meet them was the fairy sea immortal. Chu feng immediately greeted her with courtesy because this opportunity was provided by her. In the beginning it could be considered an equal exchange but he truly gained a lot in the past three months. The sea fairy didn't seem to care for this as her attention was fully focused on wang yuxian. She wasn't disappointed as her expectant gaze was met with a confident smile from her favorite student.

Her student didn't have to tell anything as she was able to sense the increase in cultivation and something fundamentally more. She might seem to be alright but only she knew what kind of price she paid to activate this formation. She was happy it yielded fruitful results. Yuxian went and embraced her master and began explaining all her experience. She also told her master about how chu feng was able to reach Dragon transformation sensation 5th level.

Only then did she look at chu feng and when she did she was surprised by his increase in strength. There are not many things that could surprise her at her level of cultivation and knowledge. She knew what his strength was before he went into the formation. She was also a little curious but not enough to directly question him. She had to maintain her station after all. She was also surprised by her student's open behavior before chu feng.

(Chu Feng's PoV)

I didn't want to embarrass her and said, "Thanks to senior's formation I was able refine some world spiritist resources that I obtained on an adventure(damn I'm really getting into this xianxia vibe) and gained an increase in strength. I also hope senior give me that natural oddity now. My master's life depends on the natural oddity and I have to go back as soon as possible."

She nodded and said, "I was going to do just that. I sealed the entity so it won't be a problem anymore. As for the formation it was a fair exchange so you don't have to thank me. Your must have had quite an adventure to be able to increase your strength to this level."

She then gave me sealed entity and took both me and lele back to Dao Sea Palace. Then the same thing happened like the original story. That stupid elder from Cloud Sky Immortal Sect intruded on the dao sea and I had to save his ass. I could use this as a deterrent when I confront them later after the whole godwish palace incident.

I finally decide to go back to holy light galaxy to confront those snobs from hidden dragon martial sect. I can't wait to have some fun with that arrogant punk Li Muzhi. I would also be a big surprise for all the parties to see my strength. Unlike chu feng I am going to fully capitalize on showing off my new strength.

lele came to see me off after making sure that I promised her to visit in the future. Damn this little girl is sure persistent. Although she is ignorant of many things I like that innocent side of her. I wish I could have a little sister like her. Well if I stay any longer I would have to confront "THAT" person form Nine soul sacred clan. I would like to but it is a little early so said my good bye to lele and was about to go further but I stopped and sent a sound transmission only the sea immortal can hear,

"Senior, I know it was an equal exchange between us but I know I gained much more than what I paid for. I am 35 years old this year and due to certain circumstances I started cultivation when I was 15. I achieved my current strength in the past 20 years starting in lower realm, ordinary realm and finally into upper realm all alone in the holy light galaxy which is not as resource full as nine soul galaxy. After finishing my affairs in my home galaxy I will venture out into the vast starry sky looking for opportunities and adventure. I will become someone that can move unhindered across the whole Nine galaxy. I now consider lele as one of my dear friends. My current strength is a little weak and this may not mean much right now but I will remember this favor and in the future as long it doesn't go against my principles I will help your palace to my fullest of abilities. Farewell."

Saying my piece without looing back I proceeded to the teleportation formation that gets me back to holy light galaxy. As for whether she took me seriously or not I don't really care.

(Third person POV)

The Sea fairy was a little amused when she heard him. While she was a little impressed by his confidence she didn't take it too seriously. Little did she know that there was another man inside her room right now. His strength must be shocking considering the fact that sea immortal was not able to sense. At this moment he was looking into the void in the same direction that chu feng departed and murmured, "Sure enough your son is a bigger monster than even you. You will have to face many tribulations to achieve your dreams brat. Considering how cold and ruthless your father is you would have to walk on this path alone. But this is for your own good."
