Background for Newbies (Highly Recomended)
I am not going into details just some salient features.
1. In this universe there are two ways to cultivate namely Martial Power and Spirit Power. Martial power is something you absorb and comprehend from the heaven and earth while the spirit power comes within and a contract from a different world. Of course there are treasures that can enhance both.
2. The Lowest tier of this world is called a Lower Realm. It contains thin word energy and basic laws are weak and loose. The strength level of the cultivators is also weak considering the lack of resources in such an environment.
The next tier is an Ordinary Realm. Usually an Ordinary Realm governs over several Lower Realms. Here the natural energies are denser than a lower realm but they are only good enough to cultivate to the apex of mortality. Breaking through Immortal Realm is almost impossible here.
After that comes an Upper Realm. The upper realms are the largest realms in the entire universe. An Upper Realm usually governs several Ordinary Realms. Here the natural energies and special laws are quite dense. The limit to which one can grow strong here is based on the individual himself. Every Upper Realm has a ruler.
A collection of these Upper Realms, Ordinary Realms and Lower Realms forms a Starfield. Each star field also has a ruler.
A collection of several star fields forms a galaxy. There are nine galaxies in total and each has it's own ruler.
3. There are different legacies and inheritances that help in cultivation. There are different bloodlines that are inherited from parents. There are divine bodies that are bestowed by heavens. There are also different techniques that one can practice.
4. Heavenly Bloodline which the MC has requires tremendous amount of resources in the early stage of cultivation. They payback is that the required comprehension for breakthroughs is provided by the bloodline itself so all you have to do is collect resources.
5. Chu Feng was placed in a Lower Realm when he was a baby by his father. The Lower realm has very little resources making it a herculean task to cultivate using heavenly bloodline. This also makes him scrape for resources an follow a path of blood and constant tempering. This was his father's goal. He wanted his son to undergo extreme tempering in both strength and mainly mentality.
6. Chu Feng slaughtered his way through Realms and reached the level of star fields. He also made friends and enemies throughout his journey.
Any person in this universe with cultivaition below True Immortal only possesses a mortal body. It means if he looses his arm or leg, it mostly permanent. There is also not a specific significance to one's soul.
When he becomes a true immortal however, he merges his soul and physical body making an immortal and indestructible body. For a cultivator at this level breaking his physical leg or chopping off his physical head is nothing. The reason I repeatedly mention ''physical" is because cultivators at this level are able to injure one's soul which cases the real damage.
Power Level:
I am going to compare the level of destruction different level cultivators can accomplish on a Lower Realm.
Inside a lower realm,
A Martial Emperor is invincible. He can destroy mountains on a whim from a long distance.
A Maritial Ancestor level powerhouse can destroy a whole mountain range and lift small seas with their hands.
A True Immortal level powerhouse can destroy a small province and all lives it contains with a single attack.
A Heavenly Immortal level powerhouse can destroy a large province and all lives it contains with a single attack.
A Martial Immortal level powerhouse can destroy an entire continent and all lives it contains with a single attack.
An Exalted or Utmost Exalted level powerhouse can kill all lives of a lower realm with a single attack. They will also be damaging the spatial structure of the realm temporarily. The attack will also hit the core of the realm.
They can also instantly move anywhere in a lower realm in a couple of seconds.
A Martial Exlated is so strong that he can partially destroy the very space of a lower realm permanently. He can do the same to an Ordinary Realm.
A Half-God level cultivator can completely destroy and entire lower realm. He can completely turn the entire realm to dust making it vanish from the starry sky.
He can also do the same to an Ordinary Realm.
