8 Chapter 8 :- Michael's Spirit

They all got down at the central square and followed Sarah who was leading them none of them dared utter a single word. Both James and Jennifer were anxiously waiting for Michael to make the first move so that if she erupted they won't face the brunt of her anger.

"Come on, go ahead and talk to her all you have done is train us for the past one month. You should go and sort out the matter between you two." saying t his James pushed him forward.

"He he... this should be fun." James smiled towards Jennifer.

"Hey.... are you angry or something, why are you behaving in such a strange manner." Michael still couldn't approach Sarah with full confidence as the latter had witnessed her critical strike at the fight earlier.

Sarah glared at him with a chilly sight but did not say anything.

Seeing hey unwilling to say anything he was quite in a weird situation he, though wanted to talk to her, but was not able to nexuses of the cold behaviour towards him.

"Hey, say something. If there is a problem you should tell me." Michael smiled aai her helplessly.

"Hmph","If you even cared for me you would've told me earlier about all this."

"One year. A complete year you have been ignoring me but now you think that you can just come up in front of me and say that you were to busy, but now you're free so you'll come to me." Sarah lowered his head and was entirely shivering.

"Hey, just listen to me.." ,"No" Sarah abruptly shouted.

"You listen to me." Sarah grabbed Michael collar and jerked him.

"You know how depressed I was on the day I realized that you were avoiding me purposefully."

"People like just don't know how much you hurry other people you only care about yourself, don't you!"

Sarah was hitting Michael's chest with her tiny hands. Which felt like soft tattoos to Michael.

Sarah slowly stopped and lowered her head on his chest. Tears rolled down her soft jade like face.

Seeing this Michael was heartbroken. He hadn't thought that his actions would make such a strong impact on her life and feelings.

Seeing her friend depressed Jennifer took a step forward in order to comfort her but was stopped by James.

"It's their problem and if they don't solve it them selves they would never be able to settle it."

"mm" Jennifer slightly nodded and silently watched them.

Seeing hey in this position Michael's calm mind was thrown in chaos.

He slowly curled his arms and held Sarah softly in his embrace. Trying to comfort and ease her worries by hugging her.

"Alright change of plan. I'm taking you somewhere. You guys should eat and go home. We'll be late."

He turned to James and Jennifer and says lightly while holding Sarah in his embrace.

Seeing Sarah had no resistance Jennifer kept quite."Alright, You guys have fun. See ya later"

"Are you really going to let them go together?" James mischievously smiled at Jennifer.

"It's not like you or I can do anything in this situation with our strengths. Besides this, he always treats her very nicely so I think we shouldn't interfere in their matter." Jennifer smiled"Let them solve this problem on their own."

Saying this both James and Jennifer turned and and started walking away.

"Shall we go now?" Michael asked, "Birth of them are gone."

"Mm" still wrapped up in Michael's arms she softly sounded. " Let's go, I assure that you will love this place. It's quite a sight to behold."

Saying this both of them vanished. With Michael's ability taking a subway was quite shameful for him. If any of the other Guardians heard this, who knows how will they react.

"A quite and calm spot just above the lake on the hillside" "This is just the thing what everyone wants right?" Michael wandered around the hillside with Sarah in his arms.

"How did a guy like you find such an exquisite spot. This place is too good." Sarah mood was lifted now.

"Hey stop wandering here and there and come sit down." Michael pointed to Sarah the spot beside him.

"Oh ok " saying softly she sat down beside him silently.

Sensing the awkward situation Michael decided to break the silence.

"Hey" he turned to Sarah, "There's something I want to tell you."
